:00:00. > :00:00.The wait for a bridge is over in Elland.

:00:00. > :00:10.After more than a year of this community being divided

:00:11. > :00:14.in two, Elland Bridge has reopened once more.

:00:15. > :00:20.We'll also have an update on Leeds' flood defence plans as the city asks

:00:21. > :00:24.Also tonight... The Chesterfield headteacher doing

:00:25. > :00:28.a sponsored run as a last resort because of funding cuts.

:00:29. > :00:30.Spire Junior School now face the biggest cuts

:00:31. > :00:37.Running for cash is now the only alternative to sacking staff.

:00:38. > :00:41.Seven million watch the Shannon Matthews' drama, but did

:00:42. > :00:58.And looking for a vicar who's "fun and interested in Harry Potter."

:00:59. > :01:03.What's behind this unusual church recruitment ad in Shipley?

:01:04. > :01:06.Pictures like this of the sun taken across West Yorkshire in short

:01:07. > :01:10.It's going to be grey, cold, with a risk of wintry showers.

:01:11. > :01:29.There were celebrations in Elland today after its historic bridge

:01:30. > :01:32.finally reopened more than a year since floodwaters washed

:01:33. > :01:38.The Grade Two listed bridge was wrecked by the 2015 Boxing Day

:01:39. > :01:41.floods and caused chaos for drivers and businesses in the town.

:01:42. > :01:46.The opening comes just a week after Tadcaster Bridge was reopened.

:01:47. > :01:50.Another bridge closed by Storm Eva, Linton, is still a work in progress,

:01:51. > :01:57.It's been a long wait for this day, so many people in Elland,

:01:58. > :02:03.cameras at the ready, did not want to miss it.

:02:04. > :02:06.With a brass band playing there was a celebratory atmosphere

:02:07. > :02:08.in the town as a minibus full of expectant passengers crossed

:02:09. > :02:11.the bridge for the first time since it was destroyed

:02:12. > :02:20.It has already stood 200 years, we have put resilience into it

:02:21. > :02:22.to make it much stronger than it was before,

:02:23. > :02:25.so we are delighted that we now have a bridge that should last many,

:02:26. > :02:27.many years and served this community well.

:02:28. > :02:31.Built in 1811, the Grade Two listed bridge could not withstand

:02:32. > :02:32.storms that hit Yorkshire, flooding many nearby

:02:33. > :02:37.There has been a complex and careful rebuilt to preserve

:02:38. > :02:42.All the original stone has been reused.

:02:43. > :02:44.But that painstaking process has tested the patience

:02:45. > :02:50.Andrew Firth runs a pub next to the bridge and has seen a massive

:02:51. > :02:58.We have two children at the top end of Elland who go to school

:02:59. > :03:00.and their journey time has doubled because of it.

:03:01. > :03:02.The business trade, obviously we lose a lot.

:03:03. > :03:05.Ourselves, we do a lot of passing trade, you know, people driving,

:03:06. > :03:08.people walking along the canal, and we have just lost that this year

:03:09. > :03:14.Delays, diversions, division, the closures also had a big impact

:03:15. > :03:18.on local charity project Colt, which recycles furniture.

:03:19. > :03:21.Their delivery drivers have had much longer journeys and it has been

:03:22. > :03:22.a logistical nightmare just to unload.

:03:23. > :03:28.A lot of driving around, going all over, so you know,

:03:29. > :03:35.We'd also forgotten how vibrant it is when there is traffic flowing.

:03:36. > :03:41.That vibrancy is something that people in Linton near Wetherby

:03:42. > :03:47.Their grade two listed bridge isn't due to reopen until the summer,

:03:48. > :03:50.the last of Yorkshire's flood damaged bridges to be repaired.

:03:51. > :03:53.But in Elland, it's been a day of celebration with long-term

:03:54. > :03:56.resident JJ and his mascot, gorilla George, itching

:03:57. > :04:01.Elland is reunited and the bridge is back.

:04:02. > :04:07.A historic day for Elland as the town is reunited once again

:04:08. > :04:10.with the reassurance this bridge will stand for at least

:04:11. > :04:19.Well, Charlotte's in Leeds for us now where councillors have today

:04:20. > :04:22.called for more money from the government to beef-up flood

:04:23. > :04:26.defences and prevent a repeat of the chaos caused in the city.

:04:27. > :04:33.Charlotte, remind us just how badly Leeds was affected.

:04:34. > :04:41.Yes, the storm was absolutely vicious on Leeds. We are here at the

:04:42. > :04:47.River near Crown point. Steady now but they were record breaking over

:04:48. > :04:53.those Christmas holidays in 2015, reaching up to the second floor of

:04:54. > :04:57.these flats behind me. In total 2500 homes were flooded, 700 businesses

:04:58. > :05:01.were affected. Some of those businesses have not been able to

:05:02. > :05:05.reopen, it has just been too much for them. Others took months before

:05:06. > :05:10.they could get back to normal. Also, who can forget the A65, the main

:05:11. > :05:14.route in and out of Leeds, it was like something out of a disaster

:05:15. > :05:18.movie, mother nature turned it from a road into a river. People

:05:19. > :05:22.scurrying to save their businesses but also to save themselves. The

:05:23. > :05:25.water came in that quickly. There was a massive power cut across Leeds

:05:26. > :05:32.on Boxing Day night as well, because all of those electricity substations

:05:33. > :05:35.were totally submerged in the Leeds area. It was an absolute nightmare

:05:36. > :05:40.for thousands of people, something they do not want to see repeated.

:05:41. > :05:44.Millions of pounds has already been spent on flood defences along the

:05:45. > :05:50.river, but the council says more is needed, doesn't it? They say it is

:05:51. > :05:57.critical or we could see a repeat of what happened here when storm came

:05:58. > :06:00.our way. Here I am near the first phase of the Council's flood

:06:01. > :06:03.alleviation scheme. You will be able to see some of the lights and

:06:04. > :06:08.activity behind me that has been going on. Here they have some

:06:09. > :06:11.innovative schemes, like a Wear thought to be the first in the

:06:12. > :06:17.country that can be used, a forward thinking scheme, affected if the

:06:18. > :06:20.water starts to rise here, it can prevent that happening, but the

:06:21. > :06:23.council have said Hang on, that is not enough. They are telling the

:06:24. > :06:27.government they need more money, we need the second phase and we need

:06:28. > :06:29.some investment. They have said it is critical that money comes from

:06:30. > :06:36.the Godman. They have written this report today which will be sent in.

:06:37. > :06:40.-- comes from the government. They say it is no bid is putting money

:06:41. > :06:45.into the river here, we need further afield across the district,

:06:46. > :06:48.otherwise we cannot guarantee that what happened here on Boxing Day

:06:49. > :06:52.2015 will not happen again. Thank you.

:06:53. > :06:58.Really interesting though time-lapse pictures. Still so shocking those

:06:59. > :07:00.images of the floods. Never for get it.

:07:01. > :07:02.Next tonight, a headteacher from Chestefield will take part

:07:03. > :07:04.in the Great North Run to fundraise for his school.

:07:05. > :07:07.Dave Shaw from Spire Junior School says funding cuts are threatening

:07:08. > :07:09.what he can provide and this is a last resort.

:07:10. > :07:11.His case was raised at Prime Ministers Questions today

:07:12. > :07:15.by the local MP who pressed the Prime Minister about school

:07:16. > :07:20.Theresa May said the government was consulting on a new funding formula.

:07:21. > :07:29.Dave Shaw is the headteacher of Spire Junior School.

:07:30. > :07:32.Later this year he'll take part in the Great North Run.

:07:33. > :07:35.It's his way of raising money so his year six pupils

:07:36. > :07:42.still have the chance to go on a modest two night residential

:07:43. > :07:46.This is the third most deprived area in Derbyshire.

:07:47. > :07:49.We have 70% of our children on free school meals and families

:07:50. > :07:52.I believe the actual activities are vitally important

:07:53. > :07:54.to their education in terms of their self-esteem

:07:55. > :07:56.and self-confidence, so we value our residential,

:07:57. > :08:02.But as funding cuts are kicking in, it's going to be one of the things

:08:03. > :08:18.Dave said opportunities for them will simply dry up if opposed

:08:19. > :08:19.proposed funding cuts become real budgets.

:08:20. > :08:21.Are you going to show me into your school?

:08:22. > :08:25.This is not the first time cameras have been

:08:26. > :08:30.Back in 2010, this is where Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg

:08:31. > :08:33.By offering more help at an early age to the most

:08:34. > :08:35.disadvantaged children, we will directly tackle the gaps

:08:36. > :08:38.in attainment that open up in the critical early years of life.

:08:39. > :08:40.Today, the school was back in the political spotlight, too.

:08:41. > :08:43.Running for cash is now the only alternative to sacking staff.

:08:44. > :08:47.Will she go to the finish line and tell Dave Shaw how this

:08:48. > :08:54.Chesterfield MP Toby Perkins raising the case at Prime

:08:55. > :09:00.What the government has brought forward is a consultation

:09:01. > :09:06.We will look at the result of that fairer funding formula

:09:07. > :09:10.and we will bring forward our firm proposals in due course.

:09:11. > :09:12.The school receives its funding from the government

:09:13. > :09:43.I have lost a teaching assistant and eight teacher this year

:09:44. > :09:46.I have lost a teaching assistant and a teacher this year

:09:47. > :09:49.My deputy headteacher is teaching me enough full-time.

:09:50. > :09:51.My deputy headteacher is teaching near enough full-time.

:09:52. > :09:54.There is literally nothing else to cut now.

:09:55. > :09:56.For Dave, strapping on his running shoes is not just

:09:57. > :10:03.Tom Ingle, BBC Look North, Chesterfield.

:10:04. > :10:18.It is not a lie, it is an alternative fact.

:10:19. > :10:20.We'll meet the rising screen stars from Leeds who give

:10:21. > :10:27.Let's have a look at the rest of the day's news.

:10:28. > :10:34.A Bradford taxi driver Mohammed Zubair, who murdered

:10:35. > :10:37.his wife's lover in a jealous rage and an innocent bystander,

:10:38. > :10:40.has been given life sentences with a minimum tariff of 31 years.

:10:41. > :10:46.Electrician Ahmedin Khyel was beaten to death because of the love affair,

:10:47. > :10:48.alongside his friend Imran Khan at Mohammed Zubair's home

:10:49. > :10:53.The men's bodies were dumped in a country lane before

:10:54. > :10:58.McLaren Supercars are to open a ?50 million factory in South Yorkshire,

:10:59. > :11:00.which could create more than 200 jobs.

:11:01. > :11:03.The factory will build parts for the company's supercars and be

:11:04. > :11:06.based at the site of Sheffield Airport.

:11:07. > :11:09.The partnership between McLaren Automotive and the University

:11:10. > :11:13.of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre will

:11:14. > :11:19.A grandmother and two children have been rescued from a house

:11:20. > :11:24.Firefighters helped free them from the property on Barnsley Road

:11:25. > :11:26.in Cudworth in the early hours of this morning.

:11:27. > :11:28.They were taken to hospital suffering from the effects

:11:29. > :11:35.Part of Leeds city centre was closed off overnight following reports

:11:36. > :11:39.The incident started around twenty to ten last night following a number

:11:40. > :11:42.of reports of a man in the area with what looked like a hand gun.

:11:43. > :11:44.Roads around the Sainsbury's supermarket on the Headrow

:11:45. > :11:47.were cordoned off and the area was searched by police.

:11:48. > :11:49.Officers arrested a 25-year-old man and the cordon remained

:11:50. > :11:53.West Yorkshire Police say the man wasn't carrying a gun

:11:54. > :11:55.when he was arrested, and a search of the supermarket

:11:56. > :11:57.and surrounding areas has failed to find any weapons.

:11:58. > :12:00.Two more people were arrested in Sheffield today, during a third

:12:01. > :12:02.day of protests over the felling of trees in Nether Edge.

:12:03. > :12:05.A tree on Chippinghouse Road was cut down after two people were arrested

:12:06. > :12:08.and removed by police from an adjacent private garden.

:12:09. > :12:12.It follows seven arrests on the same road on Monday.

:12:13. > :12:15.Cricket now and still no official announcement on who will replace

:12:16. > :12:18.Alastair Cook as England Test captain, following his

:12:19. > :12:23.But it's already difficult to find anyone who doesn't consider

:12:24. > :12:26.this young Yorkshireman, Joe Root, to be the best

:12:27. > :12:30.Even Cook himself has backed Root today.

:12:31. > :12:34.But he does mention other "possibles", besides.

:12:35. > :12:38.You know, he's obviously got something about him

:12:39. > :12:42.He's got a huge amount of respect in the dressing room.

:12:43. > :12:45.You know, there's other people as well.

:12:46. > :12:47.I think Ben Stokes has got a leadership role,

:12:48. > :12:50.I think the way he's improved and matured

:12:51. > :12:54.You know, he's one of those people that people gravitate to.

:12:55. > :12:59.Jos Buttler did an excellent job in Bangladesh.

:13:00. > :13:07.There's a good group of people pushing forward.

:13:08. > :13:17.I didn't, I was on the late shift. I watched it.

:13:18. > :13:19.Across the country more than seven million tuned

:13:20. > :13:22.into the BBC drama based on the case of the missing schoolgirl

:13:23. > :13:25.Hundreds of neighbours helped in the three-week search before it

:13:26. > :13:28.emerged her mother Karen Matthews was involved in Shannon's

:13:29. > :13:31.Abi Jaiyola has been back to Dewsbury today to see how

:13:32. > :13:37.Stay in pairs, we don't want anyone else going missing, all right?

:13:38. > :13:41.This is the dramatised version of the events that unfolded

:13:42. > :13:42.on the Moorside Estate after the disappearance

:13:43. > :13:47.It made national headlines because Karen, Shannon's mother,

:13:48. > :13:55.If anybody's got my daughter, my beautiful princess daughter,

:13:56. > :14:01.24 days later, nine-year-old Shannon was found and it was discovered her

:14:02. > :14:05.kidnapping was a hoax banned by her mother and another man,

:14:06. > :14:11.What happened here and what happened to Shannon are still very raw

:14:12. > :14:21.I've been talking to residents today, many of whom didn't

:14:22. > :14:23.want to go on camera, but said they were unhappy

:14:24. > :14:26.with how the community had been portrayed in the drama

:14:27. > :14:29.and were concerned that the events of nearly ten years ago

:14:30. > :14:37.I think it was quite degrading to be honest.

:14:38. > :14:41.I wasn't here when the incident took place at I've been

:14:42. > :14:43.here since and I get on with everyone here and it's

:14:44. > :14:46.a really lovely neighbourhood but the drama doesn't reflect it.

:14:47. > :14:49.The drama tells the story from the point of view of the community.

:14:50. > :14:51.In Dewsbury town centre, those who watched it

:14:52. > :14:55.I just feel sorry for that poor child.

:14:56. > :14:58.She's got to live with what she went through and now it's being relived

:14:59. > :15:09.It was good what they tried to get across, you know,

:15:10. > :15:11.to people but me personally, I don't think they should have

:15:12. > :15:15.Shannon has to relive everything that went on and the other

:15:16. > :15:19.She shouldn't have to relive what she went through.

:15:20. > :15:22.I thought it gave a bad picture of Yorkshire women.

:15:23. > :15:31.Apart from that, I thought it was good.

:15:32. > :15:33.There were a lot of questions, weren't there, unanswered, so yeah,

:15:34. > :15:38.The second and final episode of The Moorside will be broadcast

:15:39. > :15:44.Abi Jaiyola, BBC Look North, Dewsbury.

:15:45. > :15:47.And it is worth watching if you get the chance.

:15:48. > :15:50.Yorkshire farmers say restrictions imposed following a case of bird flu

:15:51. > :15:52.in Malham could have a serious impact on their business.

:15:53. > :15:56.Birds are having to be kept indoors and one North Yorkshire

:15:57. > :15:58.producer is concerned that if the restrictions continue,

:15:59. > :16:01.they'll no longer be able to sell their eggs as free-range.

:16:02. > :16:16.At Yorkshire farmhouse eggs near Thirsk, there are 300,000 hens, all

:16:17. > :16:19.laying free range eggs. In normal circumstances the hens would be

:16:20. > :16:23.allowed to come out of the shed through these holes here to enjoy

:16:24. > :16:27.the fields, eat the grass and any insects they find but since bird flu

:16:28. > :16:33.came to the UK, or domestic and commercial birds must be housed

:16:34. > :16:39.inside. -- all. These have all been here for a few weeks now. For the

:16:40. > :16:43.last few months, Adrian has had no choice but to keep his birds

:16:44. > :16:48.indoors. It is thought avian flu is spread through contact with

:16:49. > :16:55.migrating wild birds. It is worrying? Devastating. My biggest

:16:56. > :16:57.concern is the welfare of the birds, so that means in the short term they

:16:58. > :17:04.are housed, that is the right thing to do. In January, the strain was

:17:05. > :17:09.found in a small backyard flock of chickens and ducks near settle. The

:17:10. > :17:12.birds were killed and a ten kilometre protection zone was set

:17:13. > :17:17.up, within which birds could not be moved without a licence. The disease

:17:18. > :17:23.has not spread to any other premises in Yorkshire but it has affected

:17:24. > :17:28.business for breeders. Edward here has over 1000 pure breeds and sends

:17:29. > :17:31.hatching eggs all over the world. He has kept his paltry inside but says

:17:32. > :17:38.business is slow and costs are rising. -- his paltry. We don't want

:17:39. > :17:42.wild birds coming near them because that is where the disease is coming

:17:43. > :17:46.through but it makes it hard work because you need more bedding to

:17:47. > :17:51.keep them inside. Back at the farm in Thirsk, over 100,000 eggs are

:17:52. > :17:55.packaged every hour, destined for supermarket shelves. If the hens

:17:56. > :18:01.here can be released soon, the X can still be sold as free range. And in

:18:02. > :18:05.the last hour, deaf has announced that it intends to get the ban on

:18:06. > :18:10.poultry being outdoors from the beginning of March -- Defra has

:18:11. > :18:18.announced. Watching everyday people watching

:18:19. > :18:22.TV, a simple formula that Now its creators are doing it

:18:23. > :18:26.again with a new show This time it's ordinary

:18:27. > :18:29.people giving their take Two of the shows rising stars

:18:30. > :18:34.are Christina Cambridge and Winifred Scott from Chapeltown

:18:35. > :18:38.Leeds. Ladies, let's see

:18:39. > :18:44.you both in action. Even world leaders need

:18:45. > :18:58.a hand in now and then. The president and the Prime

:18:59. > :19:00.Minister clasped as they made their way down

:19:01. > :19:02.the colonadne steps. When you look at the actual,

:19:03. > :19:05.they say it's holding, but I don't think she knew

:19:06. > :19:10.he was going to hold onto Look at the way he's

:19:11. > :19:17.holding her hand. But then again, have you heard,

:19:18. > :19:30.he's scared of stairs? No! Welcome, ladies. Christina, how

:19:31. > :19:38.did you get involved with common sense? It was just by chance. One of

:19:39. > :19:43.the team members of the programme happened to visit our church at the

:19:44. > :19:46.time I was helping in the kitchen preparing meals for the senior

:19:47. > :19:54.citizens and he said would you be interested but no one else was and I

:19:55. > :20:01.thought I would just have a little nosy... And the rest is history?

:20:02. > :20:07.Yes! Winnifred, you were chosen on the short list for goggle box, so

:20:08. > :20:11.why did you want to get involved in Common Sense? Is not really me, I

:20:12. > :20:16.think one of the producers thought that I would be best on a different

:20:17. > :20:24.programme. I have no idea what that programme would be and then they

:20:25. > :20:29.contacted me and told me about Common Sense and I thought, that

:20:30. > :20:33.sounds very good. What I love so much about both of you is you are so

:20:34. > :20:37.natural and there is natural chemistry between the two of you as

:20:38. > :20:40.well. Were you friends beforehand? We have known each other for a

:20:41. > :20:50.number of years. We used to go to the same church. And is that what

:20:51. > :20:55.comes across. Anyone who has not seen the programme, can you tell us

:20:56. > :21:01.what it is you have to do? We have to discuss recent news headlines,

:21:02. > :21:05.current affairs and you literally are given the headline as it comes.

:21:06. > :21:09.You don't have time to prepare and you just give your opinion on it.

:21:10. > :21:16.Say you are filling twice a week and you are shown a clip and then you

:21:17. > :21:20.have two react naturally? Yes. Do you have two elaborate or repeat

:21:21. > :21:26.anything? Occasionally. If they want a little bit more. How have you

:21:27. > :21:31.found the same? You are pretty would be household names now? I don't know

:21:32. > :21:36.about that! But it is not new to you, Winnifred. You have done things

:21:37. > :21:48.before haven't you? Oh my word, I have done Coronation Street for just

:21:49. > :21:52.over 20 years. Bits of everything. Thank you so much for coming in.

:21:53. > :21:56.Some of the Gogglebox stars have gone on to do other things. Would

:21:57. > :22:05.you ever do anything like that? Definitely not! Good luck and the

:22:06. > :22:07.programme is on tonight at 10pm on BBC Two.

:22:08. > :22:10.A recruitment ad with a difference has gone out on the internet

:22:11. > :22:13.to try to attract a new vicar at Saint Paul's church in Shipley.

:22:14. > :22:16.And boy will the right candidate need to have a very long

:22:17. > :22:20.Youngsters from the church Junior Choir have created their own

:22:21. > :22:23.musical advert and put it on Facebook.

:22:24. > :22:29.They want their new vicar to be "fun, interested in Harry Potter

:22:30. > :22:37.The video has been seen by more than 24,000 people.

:22:38. > :22:51.If you are a vicar looking for a new job, pay attention. This song is for

:22:52. > :22:52.you. Composed by St Paul's Junior choir, it is a job advert with a

:22:53. > :23:16.difference. We put the video, which is based on

:23:17. > :23:20.the song from Mary Poppins about a perfect nanny, we put it on Facebook

:23:21. > :23:26.on Sunday evening expecting it to get a few views and overnight it had

:23:27. > :23:31.reached into the thousands of views and now I think we are on about

:23:32. > :23:37.25,000 views on Facebook. Children had to think what qualities were

:23:38. > :23:41.needed to make a good vicar. The best thing is how the kids wrote the

:23:42. > :23:47.song themselves and one of the favourite bit is this line. Eric

:23:48. > :23:53.Dier boy or girl it doesn't matter, but you must enjoy Harry Potter.

:23:54. > :23:58.Which I think works really well. It is not kind of thing you would

:23:59. > :24:03.expect. Wanted everybody, like the vicars who would be watching this to

:24:04. > :24:06.know that we are a church he welcomes children of all ages and we

:24:07. > :24:12.have a really nice choir to sing really good songs. What do we think

:24:13. > :24:17.would make a really good vicar for Saint Pauls? They would Cherie

:24:18. > :24:27.goodbye. Those with everyone and help people to worse that Jesus --

:24:28. > :24:37.to worship Jesus. -- they would tell really good Bible stories to

:24:38. > :24:46.everyone. I will still be able to get choir on Facebook! If you are a

:24:47. > :24:58.vicar without a Congregation, now is the time to start applying.

:24:59. > :25:05.Lovely, they basically want Mary Poppins who likes Harry Potter.

:25:06. > :25:13.Now, Winnifred and Christina are with us in the studio because you

:25:14. > :25:22.are going to critique Paul's weather forecast for us! I'm sorry, don't

:25:23. > :25:30.start trying to bribe our guest, get on with the weather! One picture has

:25:31. > :25:37.come in, a view, beautiful there. Keep them coming in. Fairly

:25:38. > :25:42.nondescript forecast over the next few days. It will continue to turn

:25:43. > :25:46.colder. Cloudy and out that cloud of there will be some snow for us. Low

:25:47. > :25:50.pressure through the Mediterranean, high pressure from Scandinavia so we

:25:51. > :25:57.have a run of easterly winds, which will bring some sleet and snow

:25:58. > :26:02.showers. Snow lovers, though, will be disappointed. There is the extent

:26:03. > :26:07.of the cloud. Brightness at a premium over the next few days. A

:26:08. > :26:10.few rain showers on the radar at the moment. They will turn increasingly

:26:11. > :26:16.to sleet and snow. Largely confined to more eastern areas. We will see

:26:17. > :26:21.our lowest temperatures around or just below freezing, so ice on

:26:22. > :26:28.untreated surfaces. The sun rises at 7:39am in the morning. So, it is

:26:29. > :26:32.great, cold and cloudy for much of the state with a scattering of

:26:33. > :26:37.wintry showers of sleet and snow. There might be snow over the moors

:26:38. > :26:40.over the end of the day was one or two working their way inland but not

:26:41. > :26:45.amounting to a great deal at all. The wind will pick up during the

:26:46. > :26:52.second half of the day, so it will feel nippy outdoors. Looking at

:26:53. > :26:56.highs of just three Celsius. So, I think a frost developing on Thursday

:26:57. > :27:01.evening and night and spot the difference as we head into Friday.

:27:02. > :27:04.It is cloudy, cold and grey. Both wintry showers becoming more

:27:05. > :27:08.frequent, particularly across eastern areas. Over the weekend more

:27:09. > :27:12.of the sable stop temperatures going back up again and I think next week

:27:13. > :27:17.we will see a return of milder air. That is the forecast. You looked a

:27:18. > :27:22.bit nervous there, Paul! Out of ten? I would give him nine and a half out

:27:23. > :27:29.of ten. The weather might be cold but you certainly look hot in that

:27:30. > :27:37.suit! Oh, I love you! Very generous! Very smart. I think you could do

:27:38. > :27:42.with a tie! Don't start all that! Very controversial! We'll be back

:27:43. > :28:14.with the late news at 10pm. Good evening.

:28:15. > :28:17.when farmers leave their daily routines behind...

:28:18. > :28:21.Right, here we come, Dorset! ..for a show day.
