:01:09. > :01:13.We know the security levels nationally have been at high

:01:14. > :01:23.That hasn't changed, but I think it's right in the wake

:01:24. > :01:25.of such a tragic incident that we provide that reassurance.

:01:41. > :01:46.I think that's really important and a good thing.

:01:47. > :01:48.So I think it's quite positive, yeah.

:02:17. > :02:18.When we think about what has happened in mainland Europe over

:02:19. > :02:21.the last few months in terms of the horrific attacks with the use

:02:22. > :02:27.of HGVs and knife attacks in Germany and France etc,

:02:36. > :02:38.The authorities have been preparing for the kind of terror assault

:02:39. > :02:42.These planters in Leeds city centre actually disguise

:02:43. > :02:48.They would make it harder for a vehicle to drive at speed

:02:49. > :02:56.Today has also been a day to pay respects to those who died.

:02:57. > :03:00.Flags flying at half-mast across the county and books

:03:01. > :03:03.of condolence opened, like this one at

:03:04. > :03:08.Inevitably, an attack fuels debate and questions have been raised

:03:09. > :03:10.about whether police should be routinely armed.

:03:11. > :03:13.It's certainly something we are going to have to revisit

:03:14. > :03:16.because what we have to bear in mind is, the general public have a very

:03:17. > :03:18.legitimate expectation that we will protect them.

:03:19. > :03:21.So what is equally important is we protect the very people

:03:22. > :03:26.who are expected to carry out that duty.

:03:27. > :03:29.It's nearly 12 years since terror on this scale

:04:22. > :04:23.We will not let these terrorists win.

:04:24. > :04:26.We get on with it and that's not about looking after your own,

:04:29. > :04:34.For these nine and ten-year-olds from Herringthorpe Junior

:04:35. > :04:36.School in Rotherham, it was a lucky escape.

:04:56. > :04:58.That was the worst part of it, but it's been a restless night,

:04:59. > :05:04.I'm just happy that he and everybody, all

:05:05. > :05:08.We can't predict anything like this ever happening, however,

:05:09. > :05:10.I think it is important for children to see how democracy works

:05:11. > :05:15.For Yorkshire's MPs, the grim reality of what happened

:05:16. > :05:20.I could hear a woman screaming that there was a man with a gun.

:05:21. > :05:23.I somehow ran into a cupboard, there was about six others.
