:00:22. > :00:23.asked 120 trusts across England to give figures

:00:24. > :00:31.Hospitals across the country are making more money than ever before

:00:32. > :00:34.from car park charges and they are also making money from

:00:35. > :00:39.Of the 27 NHS Trusts that responded to freedom of information

:00:40. > :00:47.requests, one of Yorkshire's Trusts was top of that list.

:00:48. > :00:49.Leeds Teaching Hospital's NHS Trust received over ?78,000

:00:50. > :00:55.Parking is always at a premium around a hospital

:00:56. > :00:59.is a case in point, right in the city centre.

:01:00. > :01:02.In fact, the Trust says it received over half of its fines

:01:03. > :01:16.If you pay to park all day it is ?100 per week.

:01:17. > :01:20.I think if you come to visit people who are ill in

:01:21. > :01:23.hospital or you have an appointment, sometimes you need a bit of

:01:24. > :01:30.Which is why we have parked a way away.

:01:31. > :01:33.If you are in labour for two days, you are

:01:34. > :01:35.going to end up being bankrupt with charges!

:01:36. > :01:39.Over the last four years, the Trust has received over ?400,000

:01:40. > :01:51.In a statement, Leeds Teaching Hospital's NHS Trust

:01:52. > :01:54.has told us that overall the Trust has over 5,000 car parking spaces,

:01:55. > :01:55.across six hospital sites, including

:01:56. > :02:00.We have over 1.6 million vehicles on site each year.

:02:01. > :02:02.These figures about income from parking fines we issue should be

:02:03. > :02:12.Hospital parking in Wales and Scotland is largely free

:02:13. > :02:14.but in England you do have to pay for it.

:02:15. > :02:19.The national charity the Patients' Association has said that is unfair.

:02:20. > :02:22.A 51-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder

:02:23. > :02:25.in Scarborough after another man was found dead.

:04:47. > :04:49.a new well alongside for fracking, pumping highly pressurised water

:04:50. > :04:54.and sand to free gas trapped deep underground in beds of shale.

:04:55. > :04:58.A last-ditch legal attempt to stop it by campaign

:04:59. > :05:01.groups on safety and environmental grounds was thrown out by the High

:05:02. > :05:08.The HGV traffic has to come this way and we will do

:05:09. > :05:11.our utmost to peacefully and slow walk the traffic making its way
