:01:19. > :01:22.Marked police vehicles tend to make drivers behave.

:01:23. > :01:25.Officers say with the public's help, this scheme enables them to follow

:01:26. > :01:29.up reports of aggressive motoring or illegal phone use for example.

:01:30. > :01:33.This can be in the form of a letter, a conversation or in some

:01:34. > :01:35.cases, if evidence is strong enough, potential prosecution.

:01:36. > :01:38.North Yorkshire Police say this is not about turning people

:01:39. > :01:41.into police officers, Operation Spartan is simply

:01:42. > :01:46.about reducing the vulnerability of road users.

:01:47. > :01:48.So far, more than 90 reports of bad driving have been submitted.

:04:59. > :05:01.Now at least some some of them are wanting to work with us.
