:00:12. > :00:13.Good evening. late news at 11:30.

:00:14. > :00:16.An ice cream company in Bradford has been hit by two separate fires.

:00:17. > :00:18.Both of them are being treated as arson.

:00:19. > :00:20.Firefighters were first called to a cafe on Great Horton Road

:00:21. > :00:24.in the city in the early hours and shortly afterwards to a factory

:00:25. > :00:27.Police say they were targetted attacks.

:00:28. > :00:46.Clearing up after a night of devastation. This is a takeaway in

:00:47. > :00:51.Bradford. It's own by a family. A family jumped from a window to

:00:52. > :00:55.escape. This is the first fire suffered by the company nearly hours

:00:56. > :01:00.this morning. Ten minutes later, firefighters were called to a

:01:01. > :01:02.warehouse two miles away, where a factory was well ablaze. Staff

:01:03. > :01:09.working here also had had to be rescued. Up to half a dozen fire

:01:10. > :01:13.officers are working hard behind B, trying to find out exactly what took

:01:14. > :01:17.place here in the early hours of the morning. They say the blaze is still

:01:18. > :01:20.smouldering, so they are trying to bring that under control. In a

:01:21. > :01:33.statement, West Yorkshire Police police have also said these

:01:34. > :01:37.incidents have caused concern within the community and as a result, they

:01:38. > :01:45.will be increasing the number of patrols in the area.

:01:46. > :01:47.A North Yorkshire charity, which helps people with learning

:01:48. > :01:48.disabilities find work, says discrimination

:01:49. > :01:51.is still stopping many adults from getting a job.

:01:52. > :01:53.The Wilf Ward Trust runs a caf in Pickering,

:01:54. > :01:55.where trainees can learn catering and hospitality skills.

:01:56. > :01:57.But, as Ian Reeve reports, employers appear to shun

:01:58. > :02:13.Damien is one of 17 staff working at this cafe in Pickering, all have

:02:14. > :02:15.learning difficulties. Qualifications in catering and

:02:16. > :02:25.hospitality could give him employment in mainstream areas.

:02:26. > :02:30.Everyone gets on together. But the reality is that over the cafe's

:02:31. > :02:35.four-year life, only one person from 45 has moved into mainstream work.

:02:36. > :02:38.It's something that puzzles the manager, Sam. Somebody with a

:02:39. > :02:42.disability can be an absolutely brilliant work. They can absolutely

:02:43. > :02:45.do a job to the standard of anybody else and they should not be put off

:02:46. > :02:49.by any kind of disability whatsoever. But for the boss of the

:02:50. > :02:53.trust that runs the cafe, it is employers that need to change. What

:02:54. > :02:57.can be a problem is people perhaps not understanding that just because

:02:58. > :03:02.someone has a learning disability, doesn't mean they cannot be a

:03:03. > :03:07.brilliant member of your team. It is that awareness and inside, and that

:03:08. > :03:12.willingness to give people a chance. But things may be changing. Over

:03:13. > :03:16.four .5 million people with disabilities don't currently work.

:03:17. > :03:20.The government wants to get 1 million of them into employment. So

:03:21. > :03:22.conventional employers will be encouraged to take up the slack.

:03:23. > :03:25.York Minister has been unable to confirm if the bells

:03:26. > :03:27.will ring on Christmas Day, potentially breaking a tradition

:03:28. > :03:30.The bell ringing team were removed in October after concerns

:03:31. > :03:32.about safeguarding - although there have

:03:33. > :03:37.Volunteers from the city and county were found for a service on Thursday

:03:38. > :03:43.It's unclear if arrangements have been made for tomorrow.

:03:44. > :03:47.Firefighters from South Yorkshire managed to reach number 21

:03:48. > :03:50.in the Download chart and number 8 in the Independent Christmas chart

:03:51. > :03:58.with their single chip pan Sheffield firefighters

:03:59. > :04:05.and the Everley Pregnant Brothers teamed up to record the song.

:04:06. > :04:07.Even though they didn't reach Christmas number one,

:04:08. > :04:09.they say thousands of pounds has been raised for the charities

:04:10. > :04:21.Poor old Santa is going to have trouble steering his sleigh. It will

:04:22. > :04:25.be windy into Christmas Day and we will all struggle in our Christmas

:04:26. > :04:29.jumpers because it's going to feel really mild. A warning from the Met

:04:30. > :04:33.office. The risk of gales developing tomorrow. The strongest of the

:04:34. > :04:38.guests will be just to the east of the Pennines. Here is a look at

:04:39. > :04:41.Christmas Day. Damp conditions across the Pennines. Generally, a

:04:42. > :04:45.dry day, perhaps even some brightness developing. It will feel

:04:46. > :04:49.warm. This temperatures will be to around 13 degrees. The risk of gales

:04:50. > :05:02.and also heavy rain later. Thanks for your company could buy.

:05:03. > :05:15.-- thanks for your company. Goodbye. Merry Christmas.

:05:16. > :05:22.Hello. Nice and toasty both inside and out. It even struggling to snow

:05:23. > :05:28.across the Scottish hills, it's so mild outside, whether you like it or

:05:29. > :05:32.not. It's all thanks to this storm, big windstorm in the North Atlantic.

:05:33. > :05:37.It is drawing up warm air from the southern climes. You can see the

:05:38. > :05:43.Azores, warm air moving in our direction. It's here to stay. Just

:05:44. > :05:46.in time for Christmas. Cloudy with bits of rain in the centre pushing

:05:47. > :05:49.through across parts of Scotland, western part of the UK. It could be

:05:50. > :05:51.quite heavy, that
