:00:54. > :00:55.Meanwhile, West Yorkshire Police have urged local people who have

:00:58. > :01:01.Detectives believe the answer to what happened here lies

:01:02. > :01:08.More than a thousand people have signed a petition against plans

:01:09. > :01:12.to close the remaining two banks in a South Yorkshire town.

:01:13. > :01:15.HSBC and Yorkshire Bank have both announced closures

:01:16. > :01:21.They say footfall in branches is down

:01:22. > :01:24.as the majority of customers are banking online.

:01:25. > :01:26.But local people say the banks provide a vital service,

:01:27. > :01:34.It is quite clear that those who have been here longest

:01:35. > :01:39.These are people who tend not to use the Internet,

:01:40. > :01:48.Many will have neighbours who are housebound.

:01:49. > :01:52.And these people simply can't get on a bus and go to a nearby town.

:01:53. > :01:54.The Post Office won't give them everything they need,

:01:55. > :01:57.so that is why we need the banks in Wath

:01:58. > :02:02.A special event is being held in Bradford to mark the first

:02:03. > :02:04.anniversary of the devastating fire at the city's

:02:05. > :02:07.The building had to be demolished following the blaze last year.

:02:08. > :02:09.Artists have been working with the local community

:02:10. > :02:12.on an exhibition near the site of the former mill.

:02:13. > :02:27.It had been part of Bradford's skyline for 150 years but,

:02:28. > :02:29.last January, a devastating fire ripped through Drummonds Mill.

:02:30. > :02:31.More than 100 firefighters were called on that night,

:02:32. > :02:35.but when the flames were out, the building had to be demolished.

:02:36. > :02:37.Today, the iconic former mill is missed by locals.

:02:38. > :02:39.Now they have decided to celebrate its past

:02:40. > :02:48.We are a public theatre company that are based in Drummonds Mill.

:02:49. > :02:50.So, when the fire happened, we lost all our community

:02:51. > :02:55.work, community artwork, puppets and lanterns.

:02:56. > :03:00.So this is one year on and we are calling

:03:01. > :03:11.It had been a working mill for 155 years and it has been really

:03:12. > :03:13.interesting doing research on some of the people that

:03:14. > :03:16.work there and some of the great stories that have come

:03:17. > :03:22.And the whole of Long Lane looks quite different now.

:03:23. > :03:25.The event continues this evening with a lantern parade,

:03:26. > :03:27.bringing people together to mark the first anniversary

:03:28. > :03:32.of the loss of such an historic part of the community.

:04:55. > :04:58.more persistent. Temperatures reaching around six Celsius, a

:04:59. > :05:00.little bit more unsettled as we make our way through into next week.
