:00:09. > :00:13.Hello, welcome to the programme with Suzanne Virdee and Nick Owen.

:00:13. > :00:17.Trees and power lines brought down as gale-force winds hit the region.

:00:17. > :00:22.It is bad enough to score keep me awake and I have slept through

:00:22. > :00:24.earthquakes. Pretty bad winds and lots of rain.

:00:24. > :00:30.Police investigate events leading to the death of a couple in

:00:30. > :00:35.Staffordshire. The local community suffers when something like this

:00:35. > :00:39.happens.'s claims in a report that half of all young people today are

:00:39. > :00:49.stressed all or most of the time. And proof yet again that Stoke is

:00:49. > :00:56.

:00:56. > :01:00.the best in the business at Good evening, welcome to Tuesday's

:01:00. > :01:03.programme from the BBC. Tonight, gale-force winds leave a trail of

:01:03. > :01:06.destruction amid warnings they could be more stormy weather on the

:01:06. > :01:11.way this evening. Dozens of fallen trees had to be

:01:11. > :01:15.cleared from roads and power lines were brought down as winds gusted

:01:15. > :01:19.up to 64 miles an hour in places. A popular tourist attraction in

:01:19. > :01:23.Worcestershire was also badly damaged. Tonight, there are three

:01:23. > :01:27.flood warnings in place and the Environment Agency is standing by

:01:27. > :01:32.to erect flood depend -- look flood defences on the River Severn in

:01:32. > :01:38.Shrewsbury. A major clear-up operation near

:01:38. > :01:44.trailing 10 in Warwickshire. It is a scene repeated all over the

:01:44. > :01:48.region -- and it Tredington. It was not just fallen trees

:01:48. > :01:53.causing problems for drivers, heavy rain during the rush hour made the

:01:53. > :01:58.new year return to work much more difficult. For some, there was

:01:58. > :02:02.disruption of a different kind. At Sherborne near Warwick, engineers

:02:02. > :02:06.were called out to repair telephone lines. Very strong winds overnight,

:02:06. > :02:10.one dead tree came down in the lane outside and a couple of hundred

:02:10. > :02:14.yards away from the House, another tree has split and broken a

:02:14. > :02:19.telephone wire. That is why BT are here putting the new telephone wire

:02:19. > :02:24.in. Across the region, there were scores of incident, the worst in

:02:24. > :02:30.places like lemon tint where a fallen tree blocked the A445 for

:02:30. > :02:34.several hours. In Shropshire, power cables were brought down. In new

:02:34. > :02:39.start -- Newcastle under Lyme, another fallen tree caused delays

:02:39. > :02:43.on the A519. He would have thought of Windmill could cope with a few

:02:43. > :02:51.heavy gusts. Apparently not, this was the scene at the Avon craft

:02:51. > :02:55.museum. It will be a major -- Major stepped back on the planned

:02:55. > :02:58.maintenance that we had this year. This was the scene in Sri spree

:02:58. > :03:04.this afternoon where rising water levels on the River Severn have

:03:04. > :03:08.meant that the environment agency is having to erect flood barriers

:03:08. > :03:13.in the next 24 hours. With the possibility of more stormy weather

:03:13. > :03:18.on the way, today the RAC was issuing valuable advice to drivers.

:03:18. > :03:23.In these windy conditions, it is better not to have a roof rack or

:03:23. > :03:28.roof box on the vehicle. Also, look out for where you think there might

:03:28. > :03:34.be cast of wind. If you are coming out from a patch protected by trees,

:03:34. > :03:39.going over Highbridge, those places are risky. After the storm today,

:03:39. > :03:43.there was also a rare appearance of the sun, and even some blue-sky.

:03:43. > :03:47.Hopefully not the lull before yet another storm.

:03:47. > :03:50.Peter joined us from the headquarters of the travel

:03:50. > :03:57.information service in Birmingham. How are the good looking. Things

:03:57. > :04:03.are looking -- how are things looking? Pretty snooze. This is the

:04:03. > :04:07.M6 near Stoke. -- things are looking pretty good. They take

:04:07. > :04:12.information from a variety of sources including things like

:04:12. > :04:18.Twitter. They had been buried at busy today. What is the situation

:04:18. > :04:25.tonight? It is not too bad. We have a one or two trees out around

:04:25. > :04:31.stature, but everything else is OK. Were you surprised by it the

:04:31. > :04:37.disruption? Not really, we were forewarned so we were on top of it.

:04:37. > :04:39.What about other methods, the railways have been hit? They were,

:04:40. > :04:44.the Charlton railway services were affected but everything else seems

:04:44. > :04:49.back to normal. How important is things like this when it is

:04:49. > :04:54.broadcast on the radio to drivers? Very important and it is a two-way

:04:54. > :04:59.street. Three used wetter but the public information is just as

:04:59. > :05:05.important. -- week used Twitter. The best piece of advice I have is

:05:05. > :05:09.that do not take any unnecessary risks.

:05:09. > :05:15.Our Trevor presenter has been monitoring the situation. -- hour

:05:15. > :05:25.weather presenter. Still some damage caused? Yes, exceptionally

:05:25. > :05:25.

:05:25. > :05:28.windy for us. This is the rainfall With this big batch of rain, we had

:05:28. > :05:33.fairly strong and gusty winds. It was during the rush-hour that

:05:33. > :05:37.things got really interesting. You can be -- pick out this vivid band

:05:37. > :05:43.of colour, this was a violent weather front. We had some very

:05:43. > :05:51.heavy rain and the wind arrows were converging on that line, us very

:05:51. > :05:58.strong and dusty winds. During tonight, a further strong winds,

:05:58. > :06:08.not quite as bad as it was but I will have a full first forecast

:06:08. > :06:10.

:06:10. > :06:15.Police are investigating after a couple were found dead in their

:06:15. > :06:19.home at the Staffordshire -- at the Staffordshire Moorlands. Detectives

:06:19. > :06:22.are trying to piece together the events surrounding the deaths of

:06:22. > :06:26.Mark Chandler and Karen Climpson. Forensic experts have been at the

:06:26. > :06:29.scene all day. Scenes of crime officers have begun

:06:29. > :06:33.and detailed examination inside and outside the House where the couple

:06:33. > :06:38.were found. Police were called to the semi-detached home at Ness

:06:38. > :06:41.Grove in Cheadle yesterday lunchtime. The alarm was raised by

:06:41. > :06:45.relatives. Although the couple have yet to be identified formally,

:06:45. > :06:50.police say they are believed to be Mark Chandler, 42, and Karen

:06:50. > :06:54.Climpson, 46. Officers have done some house-to-house inquiries and

:06:54. > :06:59.that is ongoing. There will be local neighbourhood offices in the

:06:59. > :07:03.area to answer questions. This is a quiet residential street, not far

:07:03. > :07:07.from the centre of the market town of Cheadle. Neighbours have been

:07:07. > :07:11.horrified to find the area the focus of a police investigation.

:07:11. > :07:15.is an awful thing to have happened. We feel very much for the family at

:07:15. > :07:22.this time. To think that something happened -- terrible has happened

:07:22. > :07:32.comes as a great shock. And also, the local community itself I think

:07:32. > :07:32.

:07:32. > :07:36.suffers when something like this happens. The result of post mortem

:07:36. > :07:40.examinations are not expected until tomorrow at the earliest. Police

:07:40. > :07:43.have described this as an isolated incident. Forensic teams are

:07:43. > :07:47.expected to be here for several days, carrying out a detailed and

:07:47. > :07:54.thorough examination inside for evidence to help explain how this

:07:54. > :07:57.couple died. CCTV pictures have been released of

:07:57. > :08:05.a man police want to trace in connection with a murder of a

:08:05. > :08:09.homeless man found at a. In Birmingham. It is thought 50 -- 58

:08:09. > :08:13.year-old Richard Williams had been sleeping in the bus shelter when he

:08:13. > :08:21.was subjected to a motiveless attack. Detectives are appealing

:08:21. > :08:27.for this man or anyone who knew him to move forward. He was at at -- he

:08:27. > :08:32.was at the scene moments before the attack. He may have seen something

:08:32. > :08:37.but might not have seen it as as important as it was. We urge him to

:08:37. > :08:39.come forward, it could be a crucial piece of witness evidence.

:08:39. > :08:45.Two members of the same canoeing club have died in separate

:08:45. > :08:49.accidents over the new year. 49 year-old Dave Smith but out of his

:08:49. > :08:53.canoe in a family holiday in Cornwall, and Steve Wall died

:08:53. > :08:57.during a private trip on the River Teme at Downton on the Rock near

:08:57. > :09:00.Ludlow. A new report from a youth charity

:09:00. > :09:05.has painted a bleak picture of the lives of young people living in the

:09:05. > :09:11.West Midlands. The figures contained in the Prince's Trust

:09:11. > :09:18.youth Index survey suggests that almost one in 316 to 25 year-old

:09:18. > :09:22.always or orphaned field down or depressed, with more than half --

:09:22. > :09:28.and always or often feel down or depressed, with more than half

:09:28. > :09:31.feeling depressed all of the time. Donna Preece says a chaotic

:09:31. > :09:36.childhood meant she did not do as well as expected at school and

:09:36. > :09:41.struggled to find work but she has become a photographer. From a very

:09:41. > :09:46.early age where my parents split, there was no routine. Being split

:09:46. > :09:50.between two people entirely, it was very difficult for them to install

:09:50. > :09:54.any regularity. There is no real structure. The Prince's Trust

:09:54. > :09:59.helped her to set up her own business. Research published today

:09:59. > :10:03.by the charity show the young people like her struggle with exams

:10:03. > :10:06.and faced lower self confidence. This report highlights that beer --

:10:06. > :10:14.and lack of structure and writing in the young person's life have a

:10:14. > :10:19.devastating effect. And a direction as teenager can become a lost adult.

:10:19. > :10:24.In a poll among young people, 27% of people told the charity they did

:10:24. > :10:28.not support -- get the support they needed at school. 11% said they

:10:28. > :10:34.thought their days lacked structure and direction when growing up. More

:10:34. > :10:38.startling, 57% said they felt stressed all or most of the time.

:10:38. > :10:42.This fitness class is run by former boxer Wayne Elcock. It aims to give

:10:42. > :10:47.young people a sense of purpose and discipline. Many admitted they

:10:47. > :10:50.would be lost if it was not for coming from here. I would use to

:10:50. > :10:55.just stay at home or go out with friends but now I have something to

:10:55. > :10:59.go out for, a purpose. It toughens you up, it teaches you to defend

:10:59. > :11:03.yourself. Adults had been through what you are being -- going through

:11:03. > :11:07.so they can give you good advice. The Prince's Trust helped 5000

:11:07. > :11:12.young people in the West Midlands last year it with training or to

:11:12. > :11:17.set up a business. With one in five young people unemployed in the

:11:17. > :11:21.region, of this to the charity cannot reach everyone. Despite the

:11:21. > :11:26.tough economic times, the charity says it aims to lend a helping hand

:11:26. > :11:30.to even more disillusioned young people in the coming year.

:11:30. > :11:35.The closure of Stafford Hospital's accident and emergency department

:11:35. > :11:40.overnight has run smoothly over the Christmas holiday period say health

:11:40. > :11:44.bosses, but they helped -- said that the mild weather had help.

:11:44. > :11:50.There had been fears that neighbouring A&E -- A&E units could

:11:50. > :11:52.An ambulance turns up at Stafford's Accident and Emergency department

:11:52. > :11:55.during normal working hours, but the closure of A&E overnight

:11:55. > :12:00.appears so far to have gone without a hitch. Managers are working to

:12:00. > :12:04.reopen it, but hint that in the long term things may have to change.

:12:04. > :12:07.The future sustainability and the long-term picture is something we

:12:07. > :12:12.will work with the Primary Care Trust to determine whether or not

:12:12. > :12:15.there is a demand in the future for a full A&E department or whether we

:12:15. > :12:19.should look at an urgent care centre. Well-wishers leave messages

:12:19. > :12:24.showing public opinion is very much in favour of an A&E. Interviews for

:12:24. > :12:29.more staff take place in just over a week. It may seem unlikely today

:12:29. > :12:33.but the unusually mild weather means the system hasn't been tested.

:12:34. > :12:39.It may take a really cold spell to find that once and for all whether

:12:39. > :12:42.the NHS can survive without a 24 hour A&E department in Stafford. In

:12:42. > :12:44.perhaps the first signs of more stress in the system, new Cross

:12:44. > :12:50.Hospital in Wolverhampton accepted 11 ambulances from Stafford last

:12:50. > :12:54.night. We could continue at these levels but I think we have to make

:12:54. > :12:59.the point Mike that the department we are standing in really doesn't

:12:59. > :13:08.need -- it really does need to be up graded just to deal with the

:13:08. > :13:12.normal casualty population. It is not that the purpose. -- it is not

:13:12. > :13:15.that the purpose. Those campaigning for 24 hour opening at Stafford are

:13:15. > :13:17.worried about a national agenda to downgrade hospitals, saying people

:13:17. > :13:20.elsewhere were also told it was working well. They are sceptical

:13:20. > :13:22.that three hospitals should make the same decision. Pontefract A&E

:13:22. > :13:25.temporarily closed on November 1st, Central Middlesex Hospital did so

:13:25. > :13:32.on November 14th and Stafford was on December 1st. We don't want to

:13:32. > :13:37.become a statistic like other places have done. It is threatening

:13:37. > :13:40.the services at the hospital. are urging the people of Stafford

:13:40. > :13:43.not to take anything for granted. Michele is here now. So, the big

:13:43. > :13:46.question now is will the accident and emergency unit open on time at

:13:46. > :13:50.the beginning of March? It is impossible to say. I have

:13:50. > :13:53.spoken to senior people in the NHS who do not think it will ever

:13:53. > :13:58.reopen but at the same time the hospital remains adamant, although

:13:58. > :14:01.they suggest that timescale may slip but what is clear that A&E

:14:01. > :14:07.departments are changing for safety reasons and because they need to

:14:07. > :14:11.save money and in the longer term we make get an urgent concern to

:14:11. > :14:16.that is 24 hours a day but doesn't deal with life-and-death cases.

:14:16. > :14:20.have been speaking to some patients, what have their experiences been?

:14:20. > :14:24.have spoken to an elderly couple where the husband had a stroke on

:14:24. > :14:27.Christmas Day and the ambulance of us turned up and wanted to take him

:14:27. > :14:32.to Stoke-on-Trent but the wife was does but because she had never been

:14:32. > :14:37.to Stoke-on-Trent. She knew New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton and

:14:37. > :14:41.she picked them to take him there, and she followed on in a car. There

:14:41. > :14:46.was a case of a teenage girl who had to wait is six -- you had to

:14:46. > :14:49.wait six hours, and a five-month- old baby where there were issues

:14:49. > :14:54.and it had to be taken to Wolverhampton which was

:14:54. > :14:59.inconvenient. In all of these cases, there were no real issues. It could

:14:59. > :15:04.have been worse, couldn't it? could have been and with a cold

:15:04. > :15:06.snap like last year, we may have had large numbers going into the

:15:06. > :15:10.accident emergency departments and we don't know whether they would

:15:10. > :15:13.have been able to continue with those larger numbers.

:15:13. > :15:16.Still to come in tonight's programme. After a frustrating ten

:15:16. > :15:26.year wait, why Steven Spielberg's new film means so much to a horse

:15:26. > :15:28.

:15:28. > :15:31.Plans for a directly elected Mayor for Coventry have been officially

:15:32. > :15:35.opposed today. Councillors say they don't want a Boris Johnson-style

:15:35. > :15:40.city boss. The rejection comes just five months before referendums in

:15:40. > :15:43.both Coventry and Birmingham on the issue. Ben Godfrey reports.

:15:43. > :15:45.This painting shows the Queen with the traditional Lord Mayor in his

:15:45. > :15:52.refinery but could future works portray Coventry's answer to Boris

:15:52. > :15:57.Johnson? The city's Council Chamber is used to its power struggles.

:15:57. > :16:00.Mayors have taken their seats since the 1300s. But the Government's

:16:00. > :16:08.desire for a Mayor elected by the people, has prompted something of a

:16:08. > :16:14.revolt. The Labour-led authority says it can't and won't work here.

:16:14. > :16:19.There is no appetite for it. As councillors, people don't engage us.

:16:19. > :16:25.They engage us about a variety of issues about the quality of

:16:25. > :16:28.services we provide. It is 2012, we don't need an elected mayor to

:16:28. > :16:31.achieve that. In making its point, the Council's evoked memories of

:16:31. > :16:34.the Blitz. It was, they say, local councillors and not an elected

:16:34. > :16:37.Mayor who helped to rebuild the city after the Second World War. So,

:16:37. > :16:44.a Labour council opposes the idea. A Labour MP, Bob Ainsworth, wants

:16:44. > :16:49.the job if the people want him. current system of running our

:16:49. > :16:53.cities does not work. They cannot provide the leadership cities need

:16:53. > :16:58.in the modern age. If you walk the streets of Coventry, this is not

:16:58. > :17:02.their fault, but ask the people of Coventry, ask them who the leader

:17:03. > :17:06.is, who the deputy leader is, they don't know. Politicians have had

:17:06. > :17:12.their say, but it is the people of Coventry and Birmingham that will

:17:12. > :17:17.have their say and they will get the chance in May. If I was running

:17:17. > :17:21.a city, I would like to be a businessman. I would like to see a

:17:21. > :17:26.mare. If it is going to be good for Coventry and for people getting

:17:26. > :17:30.work. It doesn't involve me, I'm not fussed about any of it. I don't

:17:30. > :17:34.vote. They just all do the same thing, don't they? Stoke-on-Trent

:17:34. > :17:37.had a directly elected Mayor but in 2008, it scrapped the idea of a big

:17:37. > :17:40.city boss. One thing both sides of this debate can agree on -

:17:40. > :17:50.challenging voter apathy. You can't bring power to the people if the

:17:50. > :17:54.

:17:54. > :17:59.Talking about the power makes me think of darts. And that is the top

:17:59. > :18:02.subject for Dan today. Darts world champion Adrian Lewis,

:18:02. > :18:05.from Stoke on-Trent, says he's still in shock at retaining his PDC

:18:05. > :18:08.world title. Lewis beat another Stoke player Andy Hamilton at

:18:08. > :18:11.London's Alexandra Palace to retain his title. And as he's still only

:18:11. > :18:17.26, Lewis hopes his second world championship will be far from his

:18:17. > :18:20.last. A warning though, my report contains some flash photography.

:18:20. > :18:25.It was the night that Stoke-on- Trent was the centre of the

:18:25. > :18:31.sporting world. Two stars of darts went head to head for a world title

:18:31. > :18:33.and both from the same city. The masses had gone to London's

:18:33. > :18:37.Alexandra Palace to see Andy Hamilton, the contender... And

:18:37. > :18:42.Adrian Lewis, the holder. Understandably, both showed nerves

:18:42. > :18:49.at the start. But by set three, Lewis started to find his range.

:18:49. > :18:53.Back-to-back 180s almost gave him a perfect nine dart finish. The

:18:53. > :18:56.double escaped him on this occasion but it showed he was in it to win

:18:56. > :18:58.it and gradually he asserted himself. By the tenth set, he was

:18:58. > :19:03.ready to retain his trophy. Hamilton continued to show spirited

:19:03. > :19:12.resistance but Lewis secured victory by seven sets to three. And

:19:12. > :19:17.he was still reeling this morning. I am still in shock. I am delighted.

:19:17. > :19:21.So proud of myself. It shows all the work and practice and

:19:21. > :19:25.dedication has finally paid off again. But it was also a triumph

:19:25. > :19:31.for the city of Stoke. With Phil Taylor still world number one, what

:19:31. > :19:36.makes them so good? We have grit and character, a lot of

:19:36. > :19:42.determination. That is key. The quality in Stoke-on-Trent is

:19:42. > :19:46.fantastic. Adrian Lewis now aims to become the world number one and has

:19:46. > :19:54.a long term goal of ten world titles. It'll be hard but Adrian

:19:54. > :20:02.Lewis is from the right place to fulfil those dreams. What is it

:20:02. > :20:07.about Stoke-on-Trent and dogs? Several factors, the legacy, Bill

:20:07. > :20:12.Taylor was brought through 16 World titles, which will inspire people.

:20:12. > :20:17.We know that the City is passionate to football and all sporting things

:20:17. > :20:21.which has led to a vibrant scene. I spoke to some members of a club

:20:21. > :20:25.today and a trim was play is there in the league, it is like Wayne

:20:25. > :20:32.Rooney playing pub football, really, but they are very proud of the

:20:32. > :20:35.City's achievements. Great stuff. I think it is all down to the

:20:35. > :20:38.oatcakes. Aston Villa are hoping to sign

:20:38. > :20:40.Robbie Keane on loan from the LA Galaxy. The former Wolves and

:20:40. > :20:44.Coventry striker is currently training with Tottenham before

:20:44. > :20:48.returning to America in March. Villa and Wolves both kicked off

:20:48. > :20:52.the New Year with home defeats, as Ian Winter reports.

:20:52. > :20:56.First footing at Molineux, for the first footy of 2012. New Year

:20:56. > :21:00.resolutions include a nice new stand. And some blue sky thinking.

:21:00. > :21:07.Reach for the moon. And failing that, Premier League survival. Not

:21:07. > :21:12.to mention a fair crack of the whip from the men in the middle.

:21:12. > :21:15.wonder what kind of view he has got. Last Friday, Mick McCarthy invited

:21:16. > :21:18.the media to a film show, and asked how many journalists thought this

:21:18. > :21:21.tackle deserved a straight red card for Nenad Milijas. Next Friday,

:21:21. > :21:25.Mick would be entirely justified to ask the same question about Frank

:21:25. > :21:34.Lampard's tackle on Adam Hamill. But referee Peter Walton didn't see

:21:34. > :21:37.red, he saw yellow. Players have been sent off for that this season.

:21:37. > :21:42.And that's why Lampard was still on the pitch to deliver the killer

:21:42. > :21:47.punch two minutes from time. Frank Lampard should have not have put it

:21:47. > :21:54.into an empty net. I don't want anybody else's players sent off,

:21:54. > :21:59.but you know my beef with the authorities. Playing too many men.

:21:59. > :22:04.If you are playing alert very as well, that's too many. Why didn't

:22:04. > :22:09.the red card, out? Because the referee loves him. It is a big team,

:22:09. > :22:12.that's why. No wonder they were upset. They'd just seen Chelsea

:22:12. > :22:14.take the lead soon after the break, only for battling Wolves to

:22:14. > :22:18.equalise through Stephen Ward six minutes from time, before Lampard's

:22:18. > :22:21.late winner. Villa fans were also upset for a

:22:21. > :22:24.different reason. Not once, but twice, poor defending gifted a goal

:22:24. > :22:27.to Swansea. And another home defeat quickly killed off any seasonal

:22:27. > :22:32.goodwill following their shock win at Chelsea. But hats off to Peter

:22:32. > :22:37.Crouch. The Stoke City striker scored twice to beat Blackburn. And

:22:37. > :22:43.reached a personal landmark of 100 league goals.

:22:43. > :22:48.Tonight, BBC WM has full commentary on West Brom's trip to Spurs. The

:22:48. > :22:51.Albion captain Chris Brunt will miss the game. He's having a second

:22:51. > :22:53.scan on his injured ankle. And you can see all the goals from the

:22:53. > :22:56.Football League on the BBC Sport website.

:22:56. > :22:59.Steven Spielberg's new film War Horse is soon to reach our screens

:22:59. > :23:02.and one horse lover from Herefordshire is looking forward to

:23:02. > :23:05.it more than most. Revel Guest agreed to make a film with

:23:05. > :23:08.children's author Michael Morpurgo over ten years ago. But a lack of

:23:08. > :23:18.finances meant it never happened. Now, though, her labour of love has

:23:18. > :23:24.

:23:24. > :23:27.paid off, as arts reporter Satnam War Horse, a tale of friendship

:23:27. > :23:33.between a horse named Joey and a young man called Albert, set

:23:33. > :23:35.against the back drop of World War One and Rural England and Europe.

:23:35. > :23:37.But without Revel Guest from Whitney-on-Wye in Herefordshire,

:23:37. > :23:47.Oscar winning director Steven Spielberg wouldn't have made his

:23:47. > :23:48.

:23:49. > :23:55.latest film. He is a master at what he does. He has the same, if you

:23:55. > :24:04.possibly can, and this time did, grew around him. Knowing what he

:24:04. > :24:08.wanted as well as he did. So he could concentrate on the

:24:08. > :24:11.intricacies of the shooting. It was lovely to watch. It was a chance

:24:11. > :24:15.meeting as chair of the annual Hay Festival with Lee Hall of Billy

:24:15. > :24:17.Elliot fame that made Revel's dream come true. In 2006, she'd made an

:24:17. > :24:27.informal agreement with children's' author Michael Morpurgo to turn his

:24:27. > :24:32.book into a film. We all met up at his house and we liked and trusted

:24:32. > :24:38.each other. And agreed we would be the Three Musketeers, one for all

:24:38. > :24:42.and all for one, and have go. was it like Signor work being

:24:42. > :24:47.translated from pen and paper, you as a producer, on to screen and

:24:47. > :24:52.said? I had very misgivings about Hollywood. I knew very little about

:24:52. > :24:56.it except that it was jazzy. We have been treated unbelievably well,

:24:56. > :25:01.I have, I am talking about myself, and was always welcomed on the set

:25:01. > :25:07.and went to every different location, and it has been a delight

:25:07. > :25:11.for and extraordinary and memorable experience.

:25:11. > :25:14.And every man make himself and his country proud!

:25:14. > :25:16.The film goes on general release on 13th January. There'll be a special

:25:16. > :25:19.pre-screening in Hereford on 11th January in tribute to Revel's

:25:19. > :25:29.grandson darling son, Tom, who lost his fight against a brain tumour

:25:29. > :25:33.

:25:33. > :25:41.Ghosh, it looks good, doesn't it? I am looking forward to it.

:25:41. > :25:45.Now here's Ben Rich with the latest For most of us, the worst pass past

:25:45. > :25:51.but there are some further spells of wind and rain in the forecast.

:25:51. > :25:55.Tonight, for some of us, it is going to turn windy once again and

:25:55. > :26:00.there will be some showers. This big error of pressure in the North

:26:00. > :26:04.East, that is what brought the stormy weather but last night. Now,

:26:04. > :26:12.here, a little disturbance in the weather pattern, and it could turn

:26:12. > :26:17.things windy again. This cluster of showers will go into the North of

:26:17. > :26:21.the region. We could see wind gusts of about 60 mph just for a brief

:26:21. > :26:26.time and then things calm down tomorrow morning with temperatures

:26:26. > :26:30.dropping to about three. Tomorrow is a windy day but not as windy as

:26:30. > :26:36.it has been. A bright start but we will see cloud increasing and some

:26:36. > :26:44.outbreaks of rain working their way in. With the wind, it will feel

:26:44. > :26:49.chilly with high ice 7 or 8. Through tomorrow evening, we have

:26:49. > :26:55.winds picking up to the East of the Welsh hills, across parts of

:26:55. > :27:01.Shropshire and Hereford drill with 60 mph gusts, and some heavy rain.

:27:01. > :27:07.And with three flood warnings, that will not help the situation. If you

:27:07. > :27:12.are concerned about flooding, call the Floodline. Through the day on

:27:12. > :27:16.Thursday, things gradually calmed down. This ridge of high pressure

:27:17. > :27:21.noses its weight in, so the end of the week is looking settled, but

:27:21. > :27:24.the next few days, wind and rain. A look at tonight's main headlines:

:27:24. > :27:28.Two men are found guilty at the Old Bailey of murdering Stephen

:27:28. > :27:31.Lawrence. The teenager was stabbed to death at a bus stop in 1993.

:27:31. > :27:38.And gale force winds have caused havoc in the region with trees and
