:01:16. > :01:20.Good evening. Our school children are being made to feel like
:01:21. > :01:23.terrorists. That's the view of a leading Muslim spokesman in
:01:24. > :01:26.Birmingham. It follows weeks of allegations over the so`called
:01:27. > :01:32.Trojan Horse plot which alleges Muslim hardliners are trying to take
:01:33. > :01:35.over schools in the city. It was last month that the allegations
:01:36. > :01:37.first came to light. And last week, Birmingham City Council suspended
:01:38. > :01:42.the recruitment of new school governors. On Monday, the council
:01:43. > :01:45.confirmed it was now investigating 25 different schools, and, on
:01:46. > :01:47.Tuesday, the Department for Education appointed the former
:01:48. > :01:55.national head of counter`terrorism to lead an inquiry into the
:01:56. > :01:58.allegations. Now concern's growing that these allegations are damaging
:01:59. > :02:03.community relations, as our special correspondent Peter Wilson's been

:02:22. > :02:25.have lots of diversity and still be one community. I think that's what I
:02:26. > :02:27.want, essentially, for them to be peace`loving, no stress. People
:02:28. > :02:32.might be prejudiced towards Muslims and because of that, they might

:02:37. > :02:45.in Birmingham being investigated over allegations of being taken over
:02:46. > :02:48.by hard line Muslims. Our cameras were allowed into the Ombersley Road
:02:49. > :02:59.mosque because people here wanted to speak out. The fear is that many of
:03:00. > :03:03.these children will be worried and upset by this issue rather than
:03:04. > :03:05.their own futures and the betterment of this country. And gaining
:03:06. > :03:09.qualifications that will help better the world that they live in. The
:03:10. > :03:13.focus, unfortunately, has shifted to being fearful and worried that they

:03:21. > :03:22.That fear comes after the Government appointed Peter Clarke, a former
:03:23. > :03:28.senior counter`terrorism officer, to be the new Education Commissioner to
:03:29. > :03:31.investigate the Trojan Horse plot. One of the schools at the centre of
:03:32. > :03:37.those allegations is Golden Hillock School in Saltley. Today, I spoke
:03:38. > :03:40.with one of its former pupils. There was no separation in any classes,
:03:41. > :03:47.apart from physical education, which once again was purely changing rooms
:03:48. > :03:50.and that is understandable. While you were at the school, did you ever
:03:51. > :03:55.hear any political or extremist views? No. Be honest with you, it
:03:56. > :03:59.was unheard of. Since I have grown up and watch the news more I have
:04:00. > :04:04.become more aware of what is going on but as a child in a school, like
:04:05. > :04:09.I said, it was purely a learning environment and things like Jihad
:04:10. > :04:13.were never heard about. One teacher, also a parent, wanted to defend the
:04:14. > :04:19.schools for what she sees as simply reflecting their majority Muslim
:04:20. > :04:22.student population. That might be, within the curriculum, that might be
:04:23. > :04:30.things like Islamic assemblies or halal food. Things that allow them
:04:31. > :04:33.to express their faith within the school system.
:04:34. > :04:42.And Peter Wilson is `` the Speaker, the Chief Constable
:04:43. > :04:48.of the West Midlands and leader of the City Council board said that
:04:49. > :04:49.they believed that this investigation was not about
:04:50. > :04:55.counter`terrorism but school governors. What Muslims in
:04:56. > :05:05.Birmingham are seeing is that they do not want to be hard with the
:05:06. > :05:15.brush of extremism. `` that. ``'s peter is here with me now. Separate
:05:16. > :05:17.from this Trojan Horse inquiry. We have got police making four arrests
:05:18. > :05:23.linked to school today. That is right. For women were arrested in
:05:24. > :05:27.the early hours of this morning from addresses in East Birmingham and
:05:28. > :05:33.Solihull. They are all in their 40s. This is a separate case, a suspected
:05:34. > :05:38.fraud case, the police say, and it is linked to a primary school. It
:05:39. > :05:44.was mentioned in the original Trojan horse plot. Apparently this has got
:05:45. > :05:50.something to do with the fabrication of bogus resignation letters, not
:05:51. > :05:59.directly to do with the Georgian Course. What is at the heart of this
:06:00. > :06:07.hole so`called plot? It is very complicated. `` the Trojan horse.
:06:08. > :06:10.Today people were seeing that a few years ago as Muslims they would turn
:06:11. > :06:14.up at the school gate and feel like Jekyll and Hyde. They would have to
:06:15. > :06:18.leave their Muslim identity behind. What they are seeing now is that
:06:19. > :06:23.because the majority of people are so many of these schools are Muslim,
:06:24. > :06:27.the schools should reflect that so that people feel comfortable in your
:06:28. > :06:32.own skin without upsetting any other religions or the staff at those
:06:33. > :06:37.schools or the broad curriculum that is being taught there. Peter, thank

:07:41. > :07:49.we want to see happen is this site completely cleared and relocated to

:19:50. > :19:54.they are doing. It is not just the smaller bands, the bigger bands as
:19:55. > :19:59.well. Wish me `` with me is one of the biggest bands in the Midlands at
:20:00. > :20:05.the moment. For you and the guys, is by no important? Absolutely. We buy
:20:06. > :20:08.our records on vinyl and we love the packaging, it feels great and plays
:20:09. > :20:14.great. It finds the best. An important is it that bands like
:20:15. > :20:19.yourself, you have had for Doctor albums now, are supporting
:20:20. > :20:24.independent record stores? `` you have had four top ten albums. There
:20:25. > :20:28.is a great thing about going into a record store and talking to somebody
:20:29. > :20:35.about music and then opening up the knowledge to you. That is important.
:20:36. > :20:42.What about when you look at records as a whole, there are many doing
:20:43. > :20:45.this, is there more demand? I think so. Digitally edited and download
:20:46. > :20:50.it, there is not much packaging and I think we do like to have things in
:20:51. > :20:54.their hands, to see the artwork and what the band look like. The artwork
:20:55. > :20:59.looks beatable on a 12 inch. Finally, we could not have easier
:21:00. > :21:04.without finding out what the guys are doing. What about this year? We
:21:05. > :21:07.are still to ring the record from last year and are going to going to
:21:08. > :21:12.enter the summer festivals and hopefully a trip to South America,
:21:13. > :21:18.our first time. Best of luck. If you want to find out about more about

:21:26. > :21:30.across Birmingham. Well worth a listen on Saturday morning. 's I
:21:31. > :21:34.have still got hold of them. Well, someone who knows what it's
:21:35. > :21:37.like not only to make a record but have a number one is Black Country
:21:38. > :21:40.comedian Frank Skinner. `` I have still got loads of them. Remember
:21:41. > :21:43.that Three Lions football song back in the '90s? Frank, of course, loves
:21:44. > :21:47.his football. He's a passionate follower of West Brom. He's long
:21:48. > :21:51.been a part of the showbusiness stratosphere and now, in his 50s,
:21:52. > :21:54.he's a proud dad to a little chap called Buzz, who's nearly two. I
:21:55. > :21:58.caught up with Frank, who's on a stand up tour around the country,
:21:59. > :22:00.this week back in the Black Country in Wolverhampton. Does it feel like
:22:01. > :22:06.coming home? It does feel like coming home but I
:22:07. > :22:11.don't know if the crowd still see it that way. I have been away quite
:22:12. > :22:15.well. I would not want to come back and be fully Black Country bloke,
:22:16. > :22:20.you know? To pretend that I am still knocking around. If it was
:22:21. > :22:26.practical, I would still live here. I certainly wish I was living here
:22:27. > :22:29.when my son was born. I have always said that geographically is how you
:22:30. > :22:34.should decide your football team so it should be you know, you should
:22:35. > :22:42.get a piece of string in the A To Z and get where they were born and go
:22:43. > :22:45.around until you find your professional football club, in which
:22:46. > :22:50.case he would be an Arsenal fan. I might have to rethink that! I think
:22:51. > :22:56.a lot of it depends on what is in your DNA, what you see coming of
:22:57. > :23:01.your dad. Maybe when he sees the pain that will put him off! We first
:23:02. > :23:09.met through football, a television programme. Yes, 20 years ago. Great
:23:10. > :23:12.fun. People still ask me when it is coming back but I don't think it
:23:13. > :23:19.will. Lots of other shows were inspired by it. It felt very new and
:23:20. > :23:24.different at the time. We are coming onto the World Cup. Derby County
:23:25. > :23:28.curious on again? We will probably cured but it will not be anything to
:23:29. > :23:36.do with me. `` will be cured a song again? It was great. I think it is
:23:37. > :23:42.time for anyone. How would you describe your comedy? Honest. I try
:23:43. > :23:47.to be as honest as I can and as open about what I have thought and felt.
:23:48. > :23:54.When I have made a fool of myself or whatever. I think that is gained in
:23:55. > :23:59.importance. Sometimes that honesty manifests itself in being quite
:24:00. > :24:04.good. Are you a happy man? You have a long`term partner, a little boy,
:24:05. > :24:12.West Brom are surviving in the Premier League. I have not been
:24:13. > :24:20.happy since September 24, 1986. What happened then? See, I stopped

:24:26. > :24:30.How do you hold on? I just think that I would either be at
:24:31. > :24:36.Wolverhampton city or wasteland. I dream about it and stuff but it has
:24:37. > :24:42.been a long time. I am fine. How to celebrate death West Bromwich Albion
:24:43. > :24:51.win a trophy? I celebrate than winning a trophy by going out with
:24:52. > :24:57.my schoolmates! A glass of milk? Exactly! Free milk. Thanks a lot.
:24:58. > :24:58.Some revealing stuff there, wasn't there?
:24:59. > :25:01.And Frank is playing at Wolverhampton Civic Hall tonight.
:25:02. > :25:04.He's at Birmingham Symphony Hall next Tuesday to Thursday and at
:25:05. > :25:07.Warwick Arts Centre in Coventry on Sunday 18th May.
:25:08. > :25:08.So will the weather make us laugh this Easter Holiday weekend or cry?
:25:09. > :25:20.Here's Shefali. It is half and half. I do not think
:25:21. > :25:24.you will be grinning from air to air but it is real done it really as
:25:25. > :25:28.straightforward as that. We start off well this Easter and then it
:25:29. > :25:33.starts to take off on Easter Day and Easter Monday, when things become
:25:34. > :25:36.wet and windy and also killer. This area of low pressure will be the
:25:37. > :25:41.culprit. It's got from the south east and with it rain on Easter Day
:25:42. > :25:47.and then it will be lovely to the West during Easter Monday. As it
:25:48. > :25:52.does so, we will be left with the after`effects, a futurist. `` then
:25:53. > :25:57.it will pull away to the West. We are talking about an inch of rain on
:25:58. > :26:32.Easter Sunday, nothing to be scoffed at. Back to this
