:01:04. > :01:06.at a charge of ?35 a year, with not every gardener happy to pay,

:01:07. > :01:12.Traffic going to and from the tip is also causing hazards

:01:13. > :01:16.on nearby Melchett Road where parked cars line the way through

:01:17. > :01:21.Everybody knows there are problems with it.

:01:22. > :01:24.So I think there does need to be a review there.

:01:25. > :01:29.But irrespective what they do on Lydford Road,

:01:30. > :01:32.they need to be addressing the Lifford Road traffic issue.

:01:36. > :01:39.if they sorted out the garddn waste issue at the same time.

:01:43. > :01:45.the layout of the site in the recent bank holidays and thdy're

:01:46. > :01:48.looking at a range of other options which could improve traffic flow.

:03:12. > :03:15.This is how the canal looked before work started in 2007.

:03:16. > :03:20.Today it was just a case of applying the finishing touches.

:03:21. > :03:26.It has taken a dedicated te`m of 30 volunteers seven years and

:03:27. > :03:32.?250,000 to get this special canal open.

:03:33. > :03:36.But if you look across the other side of the bridge, you can see

:03:37. > :03:40.there's plenty of work still to go. The Montgomery Canal

:03:41. > :03:45.used to run for 35 miles from Welsh Frankton in Shropshire into Wales.

:03:46. > :03:49.The ultimate aim of course hs to connect this piece of canal

:03:50. > :03:55.And then in the very distant future, to go right

:03:56. > :03:58.on to the original terminus which was in Newtown.

:03:59. > :04:12.Work on that challenge will begin in the very near future.
