:00:35. > :00:39.They crowded into the main hall of what once was a Victorian school.

:00:40. > :00:44.Now a community centre, pardnts and teachers had come wanting to

:00:45. > :00:54.discover what they called the truth about the Trojan Horse schools.

:00:55. > :01:02.Our children go to the school and we don't see any evidence of this

:01:03. > :01:06.happening. It would have an impact on my children.

:01:07. > :01:09.The official government reports claim there's a culture of fear

:01:10. > :01:12.But tonight the Teachers? Union blamed the government

:01:13. > :01:25.If you promote this in a wax that paints an entire community `s

:01:26. > :01:30.extremists, where you appoint a head of terrorism to look into it, you'd

:01:31. > :01:32.create a damaging climate where parents no longer feel they can be

:01:33. > :01:34.part of the school communitx. The Police and Crime Commissioner

:01:35. > :01:47.was also at tonight's meeting. We don't see this as an isste. There

:01:48. > :01:49.are some devout people involved in religion but that is not a latter

:01:50. > :01:53.for the counterterrorism unht. But today the organiser of the

:01:54. > :01:56.meeting admitted to me that there are real problems with the schools

:01:57. > :02:12.targeted in the government reports. It is important the issues `re fixed

:02:13. > :02:14.fast. There was no Trojan horse pass and is no evidence of extrelism

:02:15. > :02:17.There was anger at times but this was not an angry mdeting,

:02:18. > :02:23.it was a community seeking `nswers and wanting its voice heard.

:02:24. > :02:43.People were angry at times. This was a debate and I spoke to sevdral

:02:44. > :02:51.people looking to get jobs hn some of these schools and they w`nted to

:02:52. > :03:01.know what it meant for them and their future. What do you think will

:03:02. > :03:06.be achieved? The government takes all of this seriously and wd are

:03:07. > :03:13.going to get at least two rdports at the end of the month. They `re

:03:14. > :03:18.playing a mature game. Yes, there are problems in these calls but we

:03:19. > :03:23.need a dialogue in order to find the best way to reach a solution and get

:03:24. > :03:26.away from the hardliners in the school but also the hard liners in

:03:27. > :03:28.the government is talking about extremism.

:03:29. > :03:31.The family of a teenage girl from Stourport who died thrde days

:03:32. > :03:34.after being discharged from hospital say they're angry they

:03:35. > :03:36.Amy Carter was admitted to Worcestershire Royal Hospit`l

:03:37. > :03:40.on December 19th 2009, and diagnosed with glandular fever.

:03:41. > :03:43.Two days later she was discharged, despite being unable to walk,

:03:44. > :03:49.On Christmas Eve she was rushed back to hospital where she died

:03:50. > :03:55.Her family say they fear the same tragedy could be rdpeated.

:03:56. > :04:01.Amy was a lively 15`year`old who loved fishing and the outdoors. Five

:04:02. > :04:05.years ago she became too we`k to walk, lost weight and developed a

:04:06. > :04:14.rash. On her second day in Worcestershire Royal Hospit`l, she

:04:15. > :04:19.asked a question. She said, "Am I going to die." They said shd was

:04:20. > :04:40.going to be poorly but she was going to be all right. The followhng day

:04:41. > :04:45.She was put on life support and had already had a heart attack.

:04:46. > :04:49.Amy died of blood poisoning and the family has received an out`of`court

:04:50. > :04:53.Had she remained in hospital, she would have received a course

:04:54. > :04:55.of antibiotics and it would have saved her life.

:04:56. > :04:58.We have had a statement frol the Chief Executive from the hospital

:04:59. > :05:01.and she expresses great sympathy and adds, following Amy's death, a full

:05:02. > :05:04.investigation was carried ott which found at all stages of her hospital

:05:05. > :05:08.The results of this investigation were shared with Mrs and Mrs Carter

:05:09. > :05:11.and they are pleased the legal claim has now been resolved.

:05:12. > :05:19.How can they have an intern`l investigation into themselvds?

:05:20. > :05:23.They want somebody who is ottside and has nothing to do with the NHS

:05:24. > :05:28.Somebody independent to makd them suffer and feel how we do now
