:00:00. > :00:20.When you are representing a cathedral, people can make comments

:00:21. > :00:22.that really aren't appropriate for them to see on the website so we had

:00:23. > :00:23.to take that decision. The call to prayer was part

:00:24. > :00:26.of a multicultural exhibition Police search for thieves who used

:00:27. > :00:32.a JCB to smash through the wall of a Worcestershire shop to steal

:00:33. > :00:34.a cash machine. We heard what proved to be

:00:35. > :00:37.the cashpoint machine being taken out of the wall and put

:00:38. > :00:41.onto the back of a pick-up truck. Why your five a day is close

:00:42. > :00:44.to costing a fiver. A steep rise in the price of veg

:00:45. > :00:55.as temperatures in Europe plummet. Watch out, Birmingham, Strictly is

:00:56. > :00:58.coming to town. And from Strictly to sunshine.

:00:59. > :01:01.Yes, it's finally on the way. From the dull and drab

:01:02. > :01:03.to the gleaming. I'll have all the good

:01:04. > :01:14.news for you later. It started as a celebration

:01:15. > :01:18.of multi-faith culture, but escalated into a row

:01:19. > :01:22.about a video on facebook. The Dean of Gloucester Cathedral

:01:23. > :01:24.is defending his decision to delete a video from social media,

:01:25. > :01:27.which showed a Muslim prayer The film, which featured a local

:01:28. > :01:33.imam, had been posted on the Cathedral's Facebook page

:01:34. > :01:36.as part of a new exhibition celebrating the city's

:01:37. > :01:38.different faiths. But it attracted fierce criticism

:01:39. > :01:41.and what the Dean described Filmed on a mobile phone,

:01:42. > :01:54.a traditional Muslim prayer read by a local imam

:01:55. > :01:59.in Gloucester Cathedral, The video attracted some criticism,

:02:00. > :02:05.much of it offensive and the cathedral removed the entire

:02:06. > :02:10.post from its Facebook page. The prayer wasn't part of a service,

:02:11. > :02:13.but was read as part of the cathedral's exhibition launch

:02:14. > :02:18.which also included Rasta drumming, St Mary's Cathedral in Glasgow found

:02:19. > :02:29.itself the target of criticism in similar circumstances last week

:02:30. > :02:33.after a local Muslim student read That took place during

:02:34. > :02:39.a Christian service. Imam Hassan, who read the prayer

:02:40. > :02:41.at Gloucester Cathedral, He said: "I take great

:02:42. > :02:57.inspiration from the work done Gloucester Cathedral representatives

:02:58. > :03:00.say this incident was fundamentally The exhibition intended, they say,

:03:01. > :03:07.to start conversations about faith. Although they admit the online video

:03:08. > :03:11.lacked any context and say they'll A little earlier our reporter

:03:12. > :03:22.Andrew Plant spoke to the Dean of Gloucester about his decision

:03:23. > :03:34.to remove the video. We are delighted to have this

:03:35. > :03:38.amazing fave exhibition in here and obviously when you want people to

:03:39. > :03:42.discover new things about themselves -- faith and about each other, that

:03:43. > :03:46.can become controversial and I had to take a decision at the weekend

:03:47. > :03:50.that the post that was on our Facebook page wasn't actually

:03:51. > :03:53.helping and sometimes in particular when you are representing a

:03:54. > :03:59.cathedral, people can make comments that are appropriate for a them to

:04:00. > :04:04.see on a cathedral website. What could have been done differently

:04:05. > :04:08.with that post? More context to render the deal? That was the

:04:09. > :04:13.problem. That kind of social media doesn't allow for the proper

:04:14. > :04:16.explanation and for those who were here, it was a fantastic event and

:04:17. > :04:21.for those who have been coming in great number to see the exhibition.

:04:22. > :04:25.People go away and pressed and interested. One of the problems is

:04:26. > :04:29.how much time do you get to actually explain? This is all about people

:04:30. > :04:33.talking face-to-face and that's what people need to do when they come and

:04:34. > :04:36.see us. By taking it down, does that suggest to people there was

:04:37. > :04:45.something wrong with having an Islamic prayer read here rather than

:04:46. > :04:47.just moderating the comments? Some people might think that. This whole

:04:48. > :04:51.exhibition is about different faiths in a place of fees and that prayer

:04:52. > :04:55.was not during a Christian service. It was in the Chapter House and

:04:56. > :04:59.that's a place of learning and discovery. We are confident that was

:05:00. > :05:04.the right thing to do. It does come to a point where I'm not there to

:05:05. > :05:09.provide a full room for other peoples comments. This is our

:05:10. > :05:13.canvas. Thank you very much indeed. Although that post has been taking

:05:14. > :05:14.down now, the exhibition is on at Gloucester Cathedral for another

:05:15. > :05:18.weeks. Andrew Plant reporting. Police are searching for thieves

:05:19. > :05:21.who used a JCB to smash their way through the wall of a shop

:05:22. > :05:24.in Kempsey near Worcester Most of the side of the shop

:05:25. > :05:28.in Church Street was destroyed in the raid which took place

:05:29. > :05:31.in the early hours of the morning. What's left of the side

:05:32. > :05:35.of the village shop in Kempsey near Worcester, after thieves ram

:05:36. > :05:37.raided the building and stole the cash machine in the early

:05:38. > :05:40.hours of this morning. Ann Pursey, who lives close

:05:41. > :05:42.to the shop, was woken Looked out of the window

:05:43. > :05:46.and we could see a JCB across the road and the bangs

:05:47. > :05:48.continued for a little while and then we heard what proved

:05:49. > :05:53.to be the cashpoint machine being taken out of the wall and put

:05:54. > :05:58.onto the back of a pick-up truck. I've spoken to a couple of people

:05:59. > :06:01.who saw part of the robbery. One person told me that the JCB

:06:02. > :06:05.drove into the building on a number And another person said

:06:06. > :06:11.one of the thieves had a weapon of some type,

:06:12. > :06:14.maybe a baseball bat or an axe. They thought to try and stop

:06:15. > :06:17.anyone who was trying Thieves had stolen the JCB

:06:18. > :06:21.from a nearby farm. Following the raid, they abandoned

:06:22. > :06:24.it in the middle of the A38 This morning, as a result

:06:25. > :06:30.of a member of the public contacting the police,

:06:31. > :06:32.we did locate a vehicle and as a result we have located

:06:33. > :06:36.the cash machine that was taken. We've located those in a nearby

:06:37. > :06:39.village in a field. Again, they will be examined for any

:06:40. > :06:43.forensic opportunities. Many customers, unaware

:06:44. > :06:48.of the robbery, were shocked at the scene they found

:06:49. > :06:52.at their village store. I don't know how much was seen

:06:53. > :06:54.or heard during the night, but I'm rather surprised

:06:55. > :06:57.in the centre of the village that a lot of the residents

:06:58. > :06:59.round here must have I just don't understand how

:07:00. > :07:06.they can get away with it. You'd think somebody would have been

:07:07. > :07:09.alerted to it straightaway, Rebuilding work will now begin

:07:10. > :07:13.so that the shop and life in this Worcestershire village can

:07:14. > :07:20.return to normal. The car maker Jaguar Landrover

:07:21. > :07:24.has been fined ?900,000 after a worker lost a leg

:07:25. > :07:27.following a car accident. The employee was injured

:07:28. > :07:30.at the company's Lode Lane plant in Solihull after a delivery driver

:07:31. > :07:34.lost control of a Range Rover Sport being driven towards the start

:07:35. > :07:37.of the production line. He became trapped between two cars,

:07:38. > :07:40.leaving him with injuries which meant his right leg had

:07:41. > :07:43.to be amputated. JLR was found guilty of breaching

:07:44. > :07:48.Health and Safety rules. A date's been set for the trial

:07:49. > :07:51.of three police officers accused of giving a false account

:07:52. > :07:53.to investigators, following the death of man who'd been detained

:07:54. > :07:59.under mental health laws. 29-year-old Kingsley Burrell,

:08:00. > :08:01.was arrested in 2011 in Winson Green in Birmingham

:08:02. > :08:04.and later suffered a heart attack. West Midlands Police officers

:08:05. > :08:06.Paul Adey, Mark Fannon and Paul Greenfield are due in court

:08:07. > :08:12.on the 11th of September. A group of MPs have been on the road

:08:13. > :08:15.in the West Midlands today, The Exit the EU select committee

:08:16. > :08:20.is travelling around the UK, to hear more informally

:08:21. > :08:23.what business leaders and others Today, they were in areas

:08:24. > :08:28.which voted strongly to leave, listening to opinions

:08:29. > :08:31.in Wolverhampton and Stoke. Everyone has a point

:08:32. > :08:36.of view on Brexit. I don't think Theresa May's handling

:08:37. > :08:40.it very well at all. Just don't take notice

:08:41. > :08:44.of what the public is saying. Yes, I do think it's

:08:45. > :08:51.going along well. But not everyone gets to tell

:08:52. > :08:53.the politicians what they think. That was the chance

:08:54. > :08:55.these students got today as the rather grandly

:08:56. > :08:57.titled Selected Committee For Leaving The European Union

:08:58. > :09:00.came to Wolverhampton. Half an hour behind closed doors

:09:01. > :09:03.with the politicians responsible for analysing the Government's

:09:04. > :09:07.plan on Brexit. I think it will lose an element

:09:08. > :09:11.of what this university is about because of Brexit

:09:12. > :09:14.because we won't get that Sadly, the Leave campaigners

:09:15. > :09:20.weren't coming today, such as Michael Gove,

:09:21. > :09:25.but it was a very Remain heavy panel that we were talking to and that

:09:26. > :09:29.came across evidently. We're going to find out

:09:30. > :09:31.within the next week, few weeks or so, when they trigger

:09:32. > :09:33.Article 50, I think, as to whether some of those concerns

:09:34. > :09:37.have been listened to. But it's sort of a wait

:09:38. > :09:40.and see at the moment. Here in Wolverhampton,

:09:41. > :09:42.more than 60% of people The Brexit committee's been

:09:43. > :09:47.in the building behind me, meeting business leaders

:09:48. > :09:50.and students among others, to find out what they're excited

:09:51. > :09:53.about and what concerns Whether people were Leavers or

:09:54. > :09:58.Remainers is not the point any more. We're leaving the European Union

:09:59. > :10:00.and our job collectively is to make sure we get the best possible

:10:01. > :10:04.deal for Wolverhampton, cos we're here today, but also

:10:05. > :10:07.for the whole of the country. After Wolverhampton,

:10:08. > :10:09.it was north to a tile factory in Stoke-on-Trent,

:10:10. > :10:13.where confidence is high. I think the fact that the MPs have

:10:14. > :10:16.come out of London to come and have a look around the region

:10:17. > :10:19.to see what is being I think on a level playing

:10:20. > :10:24.field scenario as long as there are no major disruptions,

:10:25. > :10:27.we're very confident we can continue to grow the business

:10:28. > :10:30.as we have done in the past. These MPs say people can influence

:10:31. > :10:34.what Brexit will look like. Our Political Editor Patrick

:10:35. > :10:49.Burns is with me now. How unusual is that for a select

:10:50. > :10:54.committees to go out on the road like this? It's not really unusual

:10:55. > :10:59.at all. It is just that Brexit is so important that everyone is talking

:11:00. > :11:03.about this one. Every Government department there is a departmental

:11:04. > :11:08.select committee of MPs, it is their job to scrutinise the work of that

:11:09. > :11:13.Government department and to see the impact of its policies on the

:11:14. > :11:16.ground. In my time, I went with select committees everywhere from

:11:17. > :11:22.road construction projects to football grounds, even on one

:11:23. > :11:27.occasion in the innermost recesses of the nuclear power stations. Heavy

:11:28. > :11:31.times. This wants to hear the views of business leaders and young

:11:32. > :11:35.people. What happens with all those opinions that they gather? Way into

:11:36. > :11:41.dusty file territorial? The actually write them into a report. All those

:11:42. > :11:46.opinions get drawn together into something which I think is actually

:11:47. > :11:49.an example of democracy at work, that report becomes an influential

:11:50. > :11:54.part of the process right at the heart of our Parliamentary

:11:55. > :12:00.democracy. It's not bad. Why ever committees having these hearings in

:12:01. > :12:05.private? To enable people to speak without inhibition. Hilary Benn is

:12:06. > :12:09.that the committee's discretion. People may feel sensitive to be

:12:10. > :12:12.interviewed in full glare and can speak freely. Thank you, Patrick.

:12:13. > :12:15.NHS prescriptions drugs are being wasted on an industrial

:12:16. > :12:18.That's the warning from health officials, as concerns grow that

:12:19. > :12:20.some repeat prescriptions are being dispensed unnecessarily.

:12:21. > :12:22.But in Walsall, the local clinical commissioning group has managed

:12:23. > :12:24.to reduce drug waste significantly by introducing practice based

:12:25. > :12:31.Ram Raman from Walsall has a range of long term conditions

:12:32. > :12:36.I've called you in for your medication review.

:12:37. > :12:39.Today he's come to his GP surgery for a chat

:12:40. > :12:44.Just looking at a couple of items you've had on your repeat list.

:12:45. > :12:48.It's a chance for her to make sure he's taking his medicines correctly

:12:49. > :12:53.and remove any items from his repeat list that he no longer needs.

:12:54. > :12:57.OK, so you don't need that one any more?

:12:58. > :13:00.By making sure patients only get prescribed the items they need NHS

:13:01. > :13:03.Walsall is saving money, in Mr Raman's case

:13:04. > :13:13.Even if a small amount of money individually, if put together,

:13:14. > :13:15.surgery wise or nationwide, that's a huge saving.

:13:16. > :13:17.According to the Department of Health, wasted prescriptions cost

:13:18. > :13:26.For every pound invested into a pharmacist being in the practice,

:13:27. > :13:30.we have shown that we have saved nearly ?2.50,

:13:31. > :13:33.so it's kind of an invest to save, really.

:13:34. > :13:36.Simple things, like encouraging patients to check their

:13:37. > :13:38.prescriptions before leaving the pharmacy is also

:13:39. > :13:44.Once it is out of the pharmacy, the pharmacy cannot recycle it

:13:45. > :13:48.and even if you bring it back, they have to dispose it of and it's

:13:49. > :13:54.But it's not just about educating patients.

:13:55. > :13:57.Some of my patients actually come to me saying, "Look, I've been

:13:58. > :14:00.telling my pharmacist for the last three months, I don't want this

:14:01. > :14:05.I'm not taking this medication and this is a ?100 medication."

:14:06. > :14:08.It's my job to stop those medications but also to pass that

:14:09. > :14:10.same message to the pharmacist, saying, can you please

:14:11. > :14:13.with your patients exactly what they need before putting

:14:14. > :14:18.So by encouraging patients to get more actively involved

:14:19. > :14:21.in their own medicines management, NHS Walsall is cutting waste

:14:22. > :14:23.and freeing up cash which can be ploughed back

:14:24. > :14:31.Thanks for joining us on Midlands today.

:14:32. > :14:38.Your detailed weather forecast to come shortly.

:14:39. > :14:43.first there was walking football, now it's a gentler form of netball

:14:44. > :14:45.which is encouraging women to get active.

:14:46. > :14:47.And missing your Saturday night fix of strictly?

:14:48. > :14:49.We'll be backstage amongst the sequins as the tour

:14:50. > :14:59.Now, if you're striving to eat your five a day,

:15:00. > :15:02.you may have noticed a shortage of some green vegetables and salads,

:15:03. > :15:07.That's because snow and freezing weather in Spain and Italy,

:15:08. > :15:10.where many of those items come from at this time of year,

:15:11. > :15:14.At Birmingham Wholesale Market, traders have seen prices of items

:15:15. > :15:16.such as courgettes quadruple, and shoppers too are

:15:17. > :15:27.Have you noticed a shortage of some of your favourite vegetables

:15:28. > :15:33.Everything from courgettes to spinach has been in short supply.

:15:34. > :15:37.And shoppers in Birmingham have had plenty to say about it.

:15:38. > :15:40.Every single thing has gone up in the shops now and people

:15:41. > :15:45.Everything's going up and you're just trying to make the most

:15:46. > :15:48.of what you've got and still eat healthy as well and buy

:15:49. > :15:52.It's a daily thing that you actually going to need, fruits, vegetables,

:15:53. > :15:57.Most of the stall holders here get their produce

:15:58. > :16:00.from the wholesale market and the traders there have noticed

:16:01. > :16:06.Peter Marshall has been a vegetable wholesaler

:16:07. > :16:12.Never has he paid more for crops from Spain.

:16:13. > :16:15.I think we have to start leaving armed guards here at night now,

:16:16. > :16:20.And here's a flavour of just how much prices have risen.

:16:21. > :16:24.Few examples - aubergines, five kilo box, was ?7

:16:25. > :16:34.24 pieces of brocolli, generally 7.20, now 15.50.

:16:35. > :16:43.I gather this is going to be next, coriander,

:16:44. > :16:51.This mobile phone footage of snow covered coriander crops was sent

:16:52. > :16:55.to Peter by his supplier in Murcia in Spain yesterday.

:16:56. > :17:05.At this rate, coriander won't be on offer on the market for long.

:17:06. > :17:11.Gianfranco Zola just can't find that elusive first

:17:12. > :17:18.win as Birmingham City manager, can he?

:17:19. > :17:20.You're right, Mary, seven games in and Gianfranco Zola

:17:21. > :17:24.Birmingham City were beaten 3-1 at Newcastle United in their FA

:17:25. > :17:29.That means Wolves are the only one of our teams who have made it

:17:30. > :17:34.The travelling fans set off full of hope.

:17:35. > :17:36.After all, they won 5-1 in their last FA Cup

:17:37. > :17:40.but there would be no repeat this time.

:17:41. > :17:43.Newcastle may have given three players their first team debuts,

:17:44. > :17:46.but they were still sprinkled with quality and Yohan Gouffran

:17:47. > :17:48.enticed Adam Legzdins into bringing him down early on.

:17:49. > :17:53.Matt Richie scored the penalty and with just nine minutes gone,

:17:54. > :17:58.If Gouffran played his part in the first, the second

:17:59. > :18:00.was all his own work, flicking the ball cheekily

:18:01. > :18:04.past his marker to send the Magpies two goals clear by the break.

:18:05. > :18:06.On the touchline, Zola fretted, but his second half

:18:07. > :18:11.Lukas Jutkiewicz arrived just after the hour and, within minutes,

:18:12. > :18:14.it was his header which played in David Cotterill to

:18:15. > :18:20.In fact, Jutkiewicz had the chance to draw Blues level, but his header

:18:21. > :18:24.As they pushed forward in search of the goal

:18:25. > :18:26.to take them to extra time, Birmingham were caught out

:18:27. > :18:29.at the back and Shelvey squared for Ritchie to get his second

:18:30. > :18:32.and book a trip to Oxford in round four.

:18:33. > :18:37.We were 2-0 down after the first 45 minutes for our own mistakes.

:18:38. > :18:40.With all the due respect to Newcastle.

:18:41. > :18:45.We probably created enough maybe to score even the second goal,

:18:46. > :18:50.So Wolves are our only team left and they now know they travel

:18:51. > :18:53.to Liverpool for a lunchtime televised tie a week on Saturday

:18:54. > :19:00.after the Merseysiders overcame Plymouth in their own replay.

:19:01. > :19:04.And that means Zola is now the first Birmingham City manager since 1889

:19:05. > :19:13.to fail to win any of his first seven games in charge.

:19:14. > :19:15.More tributes today to Rachael Heyhoe-Flint,

:19:16. > :19:18.her death making the front page on many of today's papers, such

:19:19. > :19:22.Yes, England's cricketers wore black armbands during their one day

:19:23. > :19:27.international in India today to honour her memory.

:19:28. > :19:29.The Wolves Vice President was captain of the England womens'

:19:30. > :19:32.cricket team for more than a decade and led them to victory

:19:33. > :19:39.A half century from Worcestershire's Moeen Ali today wasn't quite enough

:19:40. > :19:42.to help England them win in Cuttack though.

:19:43. > :19:45.Now, you may remember not long ago we told you about the sport

:19:46. > :19:47.of walking football, which is aimed at getting more

:19:55. > :20:00.Our reporter Kevin Reide's been to one in Coventry.

:20:01. > :20:03.For many here, joining a netball team was a daunting prospect.

:20:51. > :20:56.Former England International Tamsin Greenway was there

:20:57. > :21:00.with encouragement for those considering walking netball.

:21:01. > :21:03.Walking netball is great because it just takes that added element out

:21:04. > :21:06.and actually we've seen such an increase of women getting back

:21:07. > :21:09.into netball that perhaps played it at school or played it a club,

:21:10. > :21:12.maybe went off and had kids or just stopped playing and drifted off,

:22:00. > :22:01.and your Saturday nights have become a little bleak without it,

:22:02. > :22:04.then we have good news! The world of sequins and sambas has

:22:05. > :22:06.landed in the Midlands as the BBC Strictly Come

:22:07. > :22:09.Dancing Tour kicks off in Sarah Bishop has been

:22:10. > :22:12.to meet the team. A warning - her report contains

:22:13. > :22:14.some flash photography. It's become a national

:22:15. > :22:22.institution, must see TV. And for the next few months,

:22:23. > :22:25.the show goes on tour starting here at the Barclaycard

:22:26. > :22:30.arena in Birmingham. For BBC sports presenter Ore Oduba -

:22:31. > :22:33.this year's surprise champion - I just had the enthusiasm for this

:22:34. > :22:40.show and absorbed every He wowed audiences with his fancy

:22:49. > :22:51.politician Ed Balls who won people's hearts with,

:22:52. > :22:57.well, his energy and enthusiasm. MUSIC: Gangnam Style

:22:58. > :23:03.by PSY Gangnam Style was an

:23:04. > :23:05.absolute privilege. After the opening night

:23:06. > :23:22.in Birmingham on Friday, it heads north next week and then

:23:23. > :23:25.come back to London. For me, the tour is kind

:23:26. > :23:28.of like a bit of old memories, coming back to places that

:23:29. > :23:32.I played maybe 15 years ago and having the opportunity

:23:33. > :23:35.to dance my favourite dances It'll be an emotional

:23:36. > :23:44.roller-coaster for sure and Ore This has been the most incredible

:23:45. > :23:49.experience of my life. I've learned to dance,

:23:50. > :23:51.I've made a best friend, I've been on the show that I've

:24:00. > :24:02.with a box of tissues. You're going to need

:24:03. > :24:06.them because your first You're welling up already

:24:07. > :24:12.at the thought of it. And, no, Ore's old dancing partner

:24:13. > :24:20.Joanne hasn't dyed her hair. This is his tour partner,

:24:21. > :24:23.Karen Cliffton. Venezuelan-born professional dancer

:24:24. > :24:32.who's married to the show's Kevin. Feel as though it's groundhog

:24:33. > :24:49.day with the weather, We are looking forward to that of

:24:50. > :24:54.sand maybe. We hope sooner we can say goodbye to the dull and dreary

:24:55. > :24:57.weather. Perhaps not the fault. We will start to see some chinks

:24:58. > :25:03.developing in that thick layer of cloud. Tomorrow will be looking at

:25:04. > :25:07.seems like there. In the south of the country where this is, it has

:25:08. > :25:12.been a different story. If we get what they are getting comment this

:25:13. > :25:16.is what we could end up with, some sun, frosty foggy mornings and

:25:17. > :25:19.nights as well. It will be colder as we head into the weekend and

:25:20. > :25:26.temperatures will dip by a few degrees. For tonight, we are looking

:25:27. > :25:30.at quite a bit of cloud, this lingering front is still across us.

:25:31. > :25:34.We will get clearer skies pushing up from the safe as this high-pressure

:25:35. > :25:38.nudges a way to the east. Starting to develop an easterly flow bringing

:25:39. > :25:42.in that clearer, colder air. You will notice that kicking in and

:25:43. > :25:47.having an effect as early on as tonight. Through this evening, we

:25:48. > :25:51.will see that cloud shrinking away from the south and starting to make

:25:52. > :25:57.an effect across the south eastern corner of the region. You can see

:25:58. > :26:02.the blue ticking over, that's as the temperature started to below

:26:03. > :26:06.freezing. Further north here, we still hold onto that cloud which

:26:07. > :26:10.will keep those temperatures above freezing. If frosty start the day

:26:11. > :26:15.tomorrow morning, summer fog as well during the first part of tomorrow.

:26:16. > :26:19.Sunshine breaking through and starting to spread northwards as

:26:20. > :26:22.well. Those of you in the north would be deprived from this either.

:26:23. > :26:28.It was a bit played earlier in the morning but it will be a dry day,

:26:29. > :26:36.sunny and temperatures up to five or six Celsius. Cooler than today

:26:37. > :26:38.because of the easterly breeze. Heading into tomorrow night, we see

:26:39. > :26:41.those clearer skies taking an effect. Temperatures dipping

:26:42. > :26:45.Whiteley, leading to a fairly widespread frost and fog and that

:26:46. > :26:51.will develop into the morning for Saturday. The weekend is looking

:26:52. > :26:55.very nice indeed. Sunshine but the temperatures depressed in little

:26:56. > :26:56.bit, fallen to around three or four Celsius.

:26:57. > :26:58.If you're a follower of our Facebook page,

:26:59. > :27:02.you will want to take a look at this and if you're not, you don't know

:27:03. > :27:06.It's a film about Ahaon the dog, who is helping

:27:07. > :27:08.save other dogs lives by being a blood donor.

:27:09. > :27:11.But the wolfhound is so big, he can't be weighed to check

:27:12. > :27:13.on his health at his local vet in Stourbridge.

:27:14. > :27:15.He has to go to a nearby scrap yard instead.

:27:16. > :27:19.And you can see the full story at bbc.co.uk/birmingham.

:27:20. > :27:21.Tomorrow we'll be hearing from Stoke Ciy's Peter Crouch

:27:22. > :27:24.as he goes in search of the 100th Premier League goal of his

:27:25. > :27:28.Goal number 99 came last week against Sunderland.

:27:29. > :27:36.Now he'll be looking for his 100th against Manchester United.

:27:37. > :27:40.I'll be back at 10.30 with your next Midlands update.

:27:41. > :27:46.Have a great evening. Goodbye.
