:00:00. > :00:00.Hello and welcome to Midlands Today. so it's goodbye from me.

:00:00. > :00:08.The headlines tonight: One of the biggest cold calling

:00:09. > :00:16.The advertising company who conned people out of thousands of pounds.

:00:17. > :00:24.The brutal, honest and awful truth is that Best cost them at their

:00:25. > :00:31.home. They were in debt aged 80 on a pension.

:00:32. > :00:33.Also tonight: An unbearable sight and stench of animal waste -

:00:34. > :00:36.complaints from local businesses near an abattoir.

:00:37. > :00:39.The Worcestershire woman who lost half her body weight in a year -

:00:40. > :00:50.I have gone from having no confidence to having quite a bit of

:00:51. > :00:58.confidence. To going out, enjoying life... Forget Bollywood, I'm in

:00:59. > :00:59.West Bromwich for the UK premiere of a Punjabi film shot in Birmingham

:01:00. > :01:00.and the Black Country. And if you think it's been

:01:01. > :01:02.cold today, temperatures are going to drop even further

:01:03. > :01:05.as we head towards the weekend, It has become the biggest

:01:06. > :01:21.cold-calling scam A multi-million pound fraud

:01:22. > :01:28.which started with a phone call selling advertising space

:01:29. > :01:30.and resulted in people being conned The final sentences

:01:31. > :01:34.were handed down today. Kiera Byrne from Coventry was given

:01:35. > :01:39.a 23-month suspended jail sentence The fraud was uncovered by BBC

:01:40. > :01:44.Inside Out six years ago. That led to a huge operation

:01:45. > :01:47.by Trading Standards teams, unpicking the true extent

:01:48. > :01:50.of the fraud and the families who'd For years, Jonathan Rivers

:01:51. > :02:01.masqueraded as a legitimate businessman, employing 250 people

:02:02. > :02:05.at twelve different offices. His company, Wyvern Media,

:02:06. > :02:09.cold-called customers offering them advertising space

:02:10. > :02:22.in local newspapers. What happened to my parents is

:02:23. > :02:29.astonishing. Seven years on, it still keeps me awake at night. This

:02:30. > :02:30.man was one of hundreds conned by rivers who used his businesses to

:02:31. > :02:31.rip people off. Among them Jon Moyle

:02:32. > :02:34.from Shropshire, who back in 2010 When Wyvern Media spotted he wanted

:02:35. > :02:38.to rent out an apartment they cold-called him relentlessly,

:02:39. > :02:40.pressuring him into Over a two-year period they took

:02:41. > :02:54.over thirty thousand pounds. They just persist of the whole time.

:02:55. > :02:56.I just wanted to get rid of it because I had so much else on my

:02:57. > :02:56.mind. In reality, the adverts Wyvern Media

:02:57. > :02:58.pressured customers into buying Most were in free newspapers

:02:59. > :03:15.with tiny circulations. This is the rest of the property

:03:16. > :03:19.that we seized from Derby. The five year investigation by Trading

:03:20. > :03:23.Standards, led by Steve Wyatt became the biggest in their history. They

:03:24. > :03:30.pick the elaborate web of companies that Jonathan Rivers used to conceal

:03:31. > :03:36.his fraudulent activities. When you will be complicated, but we didn't

:03:37. > :03:38.have any idea just how big this was going to get.

:03:39. > :03:45.But justice came too late for victim Jon Moyle, who died.

:03:46. > :03:51.The brutal, honest, awful truth is that this cost them their house.

:03:52. > :03:56.They were in debt, aged 80, on a pension. My mother was ever so brave

:03:57. > :04:05.and she put the house on the market for my dad, but within about a month

:04:06. > :04:07.of that happening, February 2011, my mother died.

:04:08. > :04:19.And Jonathan Rivers is currently serving a six-year sentence.

:04:20. > :04:23.The manager of the investigations team at Nottinghamshire County

:04:24. > :04:25.Council Trading Standards is James Delaney.

:04:26. > :04:28.I spoke to him a little earlier about the work involved in bringing

:04:29. > :04:41.This was the largest investigation that the Trading Standards team has

:04:42. > :04:44.been involved in. It focused on a group of companies called the Wyvern

:04:45. > :04:51.Media Group that sold advertising and published it. It involved a

:04:52. > :04:54.network of up to 90 companies that produced 230 plus publications.

:04:55. > :04:57.What were the challenges you faced investigating this scam?

:04:58. > :05:08.Absolutely. They set of the business itself, how it was organised, it was

:05:09. > :05:17.an industrial scale fraud. And the challenges that were identifying how

:05:18. > :05:23.far this company actually reached. Won so huge distress to the victims?

:05:24. > :05:26.Yes. The victims in that case, unfortunately, are no longer with us

:05:27. > :05:33.today, but I have no doubt in my mind that the stress that was caused

:05:34. > :05:34.to them through those actions will have impacted on their final years.

:05:35. > :05:37.Scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated, what can people do

:05:38. > :05:51.I would ask anybody to be extremely wary about any business who cold

:05:52. > :05:56.calls them, especially if they try and pressurise them into making a

:05:57. > :06:00.decision or a sale there and then. I would always advise people to do

:06:01. > :06:05.their own research. So don't make decisions on the spot. On the

:06:06. > :06:12.sentencing, a suspended sentence of 23 months. What is your reaction? In

:06:13. > :06:16.terms of the sentences that were given out today, I would say we were

:06:17. > :06:19.disappointed that they did not get custodial. However, this was part of

:06:20. > :06:26.a much wider investigation. We have had 12 convictions now and over 15

:06:27. > :06:31.and a half years worth of custodial sentences handed down as part of the

:06:32. > :06:32.overall operation, so as a whole, we are extremely pleased with the

:06:33. > :06:40.result. If you have a similar story or have

:06:41. > :06:42.been the victim of a scam, do get in touch. You can contact us in the

:06:43. > :06:42.usual ways. That's the plea from businesses

:06:43. > :06:46.near an abattoir in Birmingham, who say the sight and stench

:06:47. > :06:48.of animal waste is unbearable. Midlands Today has been shown images

:06:49. > :06:52.of what appears to be blood outside It previously traded as Mr Meats,

:06:53. > :06:59.but lost its licence following an investigation

:07:00. > :07:00.by the Food Standards Agency in October 2015,

:07:01. > :07:02.following years of complaints. The abattoir now has

:07:03. > :07:04.a new license to operate. You may find some of the images in

:07:05. > :07:14.Ben Godfrey's report distressing. These images appear to show

:07:15. > :07:17.animal blood in the yard of AJ Meats in Digbeth,

:07:18. > :07:22.an abbatoir supplying halal meat. We're told they were

:07:23. > :07:24.taken this morning. When we arrived trade

:07:25. > :07:26.was continuing, from the roadside there were no visible

:07:27. > :07:29.signs of waste. But surrounding firms

:07:30. > :07:39.have had enough. It is so bad, the smell is pungent

:07:40. > :07:44.and stronger we all suffer around it. All the businesses are generally

:07:45. > :07:47.suffering. We to the problems last time they would sort it out and

:07:48. > :07:48.there will be more stringent rules in place that would stop them

:07:49. > :07:51.starting up again. 2015, when piles of sheep

:07:52. > :07:53.carcasses and offal appeared in the same yard, discarded

:07:54. > :07:55.and exposed to the elements. At that time, it was run

:07:56. > :07:58.by different company, known as Mr Meats, who were eventually

:07:59. > :08:01.shut down by the food watchdog. So what did the new

:08:02. > :08:12.owners have to say? We have tried on several occasions

:08:13. > :08:13.to get an answer from the company, but as you can see, nobody is

:08:14. > :08:16.responding. A short time later,

:08:17. > :08:18.we were approached by a worker. He told us they were a clean

:08:19. > :08:21.operation but added that occasionally there may be some

:08:22. > :08:23.spillage of waste while Tonight, the Food Standards Agency

:08:24. > :08:26.told us following complaints they have stationed an official

:08:27. > :08:29.there this week to work They add, "In October 2016

:08:30. > :08:32.conditional approval was granted "The FSA will continue

:08:33. > :08:38.to monitor their compliance "with the relevant

:08:39. > :08:39.requirements of food law." Local businessman Peter Hughes says

:08:40. > :08:44.the authorities must be tougher. The new owners have barely been

:08:45. > :08:55.operating to months. When the temperature increases what

:08:56. > :09:00.is the smell going to be like then? Won they would say this is an

:09:01. > :09:04.abattoir, there will be some smelly, inevitably? That is fine and we

:09:05. > :09:10.understand the kind of animal smells that you would expect of an

:09:11. > :09:11.abattoir. The real issues here are the poor controls.

:09:12. > :09:25.Whether they like it or not, all eyes are on them.

:09:26. > :09:28.An entire lorry-load of old fridges and freezers have been dumped

:09:29. > :09:32.The 21 appliances were pushed off the back of a truck

:09:33. > :09:36.The lorry was caught on CCTV but had no number plates.

:09:37. > :09:37.The fridges have since been disposed of.

:09:38. > :09:39.Walsall Council say it's the latest in a catalogue

:09:40. > :09:42.of flytipping problems, which cost the taxpayers four hundred

:09:43. > :09:48.We want them to prosper, to look good.

:09:49. > :09:54.Nobody, at the end of the day, wants to turn down a road and see

:09:55. > :09:57.such a dangerous site of fly-tipping without a care for any of the

:09:58. > :10:00.The funeral of a teenager who died after a long

:10:01. > :10:02.running battle with cancer, was held at the Coventry

:10:03. > :10:05.15-year-old Rosie Abbott was diagnosed in 2012,

:10:06. > :10:08.but embarked on a series of fundraising events raising more

:10:09. > :10:11.Two years ago she won the Radio One Teenage Hero award.

:10:12. > :10:13.Hundreds paid tribute at her funeral, including friends

:10:14. > :10:22.Whatever's happening to her, she would just get on with it.

:10:23. > :10:26.Everyone would just feel so happy around her.

:10:27. > :10:29.You could be having a very bad day and

:10:30. > :10:32.she would come down as she would just smile

:10:33. > :10:36.She was the most incredible person ever.

:10:37. > :10:42.Really inspirational and just really kind.

:10:43. > :10:44.Police have released footage of a Walsall shopkeeper

:10:45. > :10:49.The man seen here attempted to raid Kobani Stores

:10:50. > :10:52.on West Bromwich Street using a hand gun just before midnight

:10:53. > :10:55.Police have praised the owner of the shop who sprayed mace

:10:56. > :10:58.in the face of the robber, who then ran off.

:10:59. > :10:59.Officers are asking anyone who recognises

:11:00. > :11:11.The headteacher of a school in Birmingham has written

:11:12. > :11:14.to parents, warning them not to allow their children out

:11:15. > :11:21.It follows an attack on a group of Year Ten pupils on Friday night,

:11:22. > :11:23.in which a teenager was wounded with a knife.

:11:24. > :11:25.A local shopkeeper and a cyclist were also attacked by

:11:26. > :11:29.Our reporter Nicola Beckford is at Colmers School in Rednal now.

:11:30. > :11:40.There was an extraordinary series of attacks last Friday in South

:11:41. > :11:46.Birmingham and as you say, it happened at around nine o'clock, the

:11:47. > :11:51.first attack. The shopkeeper was attacked. He was attacked outside a

:11:52. > :11:55.shop by a mob of youths. Up to 20 of them attacked him. But he was

:11:56. > :11:59.determined to defend his shop. It is not the first time this has happened

:12:00. > :12:02.and he was not going to take this. So he went out to try and fight them

:12:03. > :12:06.off, but he was set upon with hammers. They beat him to the

:12:07. > :12:11.ground, he did not want us to show that moment. Then, a cyclist was

:12:12. > :12:17.attacked at Macdonald is on the Bristol Road just outside. And it

:12:18. > :12:22.finally culminated with a group of boys from Colmers School being

:12:23. > :12:29.attacked, one was stabbed. What have the school had to say? I spoke to

:12:30. > :12:33.the head teacher today and they are in deep shock. They say they are

:12:34. > :12:37.recovering, but they are indeed in deep shock. He sent a letter to

:12:38. > :12:44.parents and carers and in it, you said that until the size, identity

:12:45. > :12:47.and group of the known, I asked you to bring your children from being

:12:48. > :12:51.out in public after dark. In other words come he does not think it is a

:12:52. > :12:56.good idea for children and his pupils to be all sides night

:12:57. > :12:59.unaccompanied. I also spoke to some local people to get their reaction

:13:00. > :13:00.about this and this is what they said.

:13:01. > :13:04.And especially in the supermarket car park.

:13:05. > :13:06.There, after ten at night, you will see nothing but

:13:07. > :13:10.So where is the safety for the public around here?

:13:11. > :13:13.There's been a lot of trouble since that college down there was built.

:13:14. > :13:15.You get gangs and kids coming from the

:13:16. > :13:23.But after 13 or 14, if there's two or three,

:13:24. > :13:42.Mr Doherty, the headteacher, said these were nice boys, not boys

:13:43. > :13:46.looking for trouble. The police said they have arrested five people for

:13:47. > :13:48.robbery and assault and the boy and the shopkeeper are both recovering.

:13:49. > :13:49.Thank you. Bed blocking continues to be

:13:50. > :13:51.a problem for six health trusts in our region,

:13:52. > :13:53.which have recorded their highest ever number of days lost to delays

:13:54. > :13:58.in discharging patients. The incidents happen when patients

:13:59. > :14:01.no longer need to be in hospital, but other suitable care

:14:02. > :14:03.isn't in place. Areas affected include

:14:04. > :14:05.the Wye Valley, But in Dudley, health services

:14:06. > :14:10.are being radically re-organised so more patients can be kept

:14:11. > :14:12.out of hospital. They are trying to create a ?3.5bn

:14:13. > :14:15.ten-year contract to bring health Here's our Health Correspondent,

:14:16. > :14:32.Michele Paduano. My hips hurt, my back hurt and I was

:14:33. > :14:33.in terrible pain. And that was it. I was just feeling very down.

:14:34. > :14:37.Barry Rose is one of the 2% most in need of long-term care in Dudley.

:14:38. > :14:39.He has diabetes and severe arthritis, but isolation was also

:14:40. > :14:48.He's one of 30 cases being discussed at this team meeting.

:14:49. > :14:54.The last solution was to get him to a breakfast club

:14:55. > :15:02.With the breakfast club, I can now talk to the people who I find all a

:15:03. > :15:05.lot worse than I was. It makes me feel better. And it is the best

:15:06. > :15:06.thing I've ever done. Simple interventions like this can

:15:07. > :15:19.keep poorly patients out What we've seen so far is like a 30%

:15:20. > :15:23.reduction in GP visit since the projects began. It saves probably

:15:24. > :15:24.around ?2000 estimated based on 38 clients.

:15:25. > :15:27.It might seem obvious to get everyone who delivers care together.

:15:28. > :15:28.But traditionally, it doesn't happen.

:15:29. > :15:30.The social worker works for the council.

:15:31. > :15:32.This nurse for a mental health trust.

:15:33. > :15:40.This man has the task of creating one ?350m

:15:41. > :15:50.They want us to work across the organisation and within the NHS, to

:15:51. > :15:55.work better together and provide them in much better coordinate care.

:15:56. > :15:56.We would use the team and terminal without Walls, enabling our staff to

:15:57. > :15:59.work effectively with each other. But there are consequences,

:16:00. > :16:07.particularly for hospitals. These are big changes. At least ?30

:16:08. > :16:11.million and rumour has it up to ?50 million of funding that goes to the

:16:12. > :16:15.hospital will now go to this new organisation. And then there are

:16:16. > :16:16.fears its privatisation, the private company taking over the whole

:16:17. > :16:17.contract. The NHS here thinks it's

:16:18. > :16:20.the right way to go, bringing care closer

:16:21. > :16:23.to those who need it. A whistle-blower has claimed that

:16:24. > :16:26.staff at the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch were pressured

:16:27. > :16:29.into admitting patients to a "virtual ward" to avoid

:16:30. > :16:32.breaching the government's But the Worcestershire Acute

:16:33. > :16:40.Hospitals Trust says while it's found cases of "poor recording"

:16:41. > :16:42.by staff, there is no evidence staff were trying

:16:43. > :16:45.to defraud the system. Thanks for joining us

:16:46. > :16:47.on Midlands Today, we'll have your detailed weather

:16:48. > :16:50.forecast to come shortly. Also in tonight's programme: Rolling

:16:51. > :16:53.out the red carpet for the premiere of a film made in the Midlands

:16:54. > :16:58.with local talent. And the mystery of the animal graves

:16:59. > :17:01.next to a small Shropshire Church - A woman from Worcestershire's lost

:17:02. > :17:15.half her body weight and is now free from diabetes,

:17:16. > :17:18.after having a gastric We filmed Michelle Clayton last

:17:19. > :17:22.February, as she prepared She told us she was doing it so she

:17:23. > :17:27.could see her daughter grow up. I don't feel like I'm missing out

:17:28. > :17:34.on anything, which is half the Michelle Clayton's unrecognisable

:17:35. > :17:43.from when we filmed her a year ago. I have three or four

:17:44. > :17:49.Slim Fasts a day. This was the mum from

:17:50. > :17:51.Pershore preparing for her It's just a whole

:17:52. > :18:08.life-changing scenario really. Gone from having no confidence

:18:09. > :18:11.to quite a bit of confidence, Here you go, this is my typical

:18:12. > :18:18.lunch, on a side plate. And that is enough

:18:19. > :18:21.for me to fill me up. And there's no going back

:18:22. > :18:23.to big meals, but this sacrifice means she'll get

:18:24. > :18:26.to see her daughter grow up. She even told me I am

:18:27. > :18:35.quite a trendy mum now. She's come back to the

:18:36. > :18:40.Worcestershire Royal Michelle's weight loss means she no

:18:41. > :18:48.longer has type-two diabetes. Looking at the results,

:18:49. > :18:50.you've done really well. She's now no longer having

:18:51. > :18:54.any treatment for her diabetes and that is a major,

:18:55. > :18:57.major benefit for her and her future And with soaring costs

:18:58. > :19:01.for treating diabetes, the NHS is increasing its spending

:19:02. > :19:07.on operations like these. In this region, we are seeing

:19:08. > :19:09.progress in more funding for this type of and it is being

:19:10. > :19:12.recognised that these patients can benefit hugely from this

:19:13. > :19:15.kind of treatment. For Michelle, it's time to get out

:19:16. > :19:18.of the baggy jumpers The red carpet premiere

:19:19. > :19:29.of a new film shot and made across Birmingham and the Black Country

:19:30. > :19:33.is taking place in My Beloved Non-Resident

:19:34. > :19:35.Indian is a comedy about a young man coming

:19:36. > :19:41.from the subcontinent to the Midlands for the first time

:19:42. > :19:44.to impress his girlfriend's mother. He soon realises the streets aren't

:19:45. > :19:55.necessarily paved with gold. It was written and directed

:19:56. > :19:59.by a film-maker from Shirley, and recruited around 150

:20:00. > :20:01.local actors and crew Our reporter Amy Cole

:20:02. > :20:05.is in West Bromwich for us now. From tonight's UK premiere

:20:06. > :20:17.here in West Bromwich, to the film being jam-packed

:20:18. > :20:19.with landmarks and popular sites Apologies for the loss of sound

:20:20. > :20:29.that. Archaeologists have been racing

:20:30. > :20:32.against time at a dig next Experts have discovered evidence

:20:33. > :20:35.of a much larger church But they have been up

:20:36. > :20:39.against the clock, because a wedding is due

:20:40. > :20:41.to take place this weekend In amongst a big housing development

:20:42. > :20:49.in Shrewsbury, there's a tiny 12th And in front of it,

:20:50. > :20:55.archaeologists called in as part of planning conditions

:20:56. > :21:01.who have uncovered foundation showing the church

:21:02. > :21:04.was once much bigger. Surrounding another 17 metres

:21:05. > :21:06.from the original church They found an ancient

:21:07. > :21:16.animal burial ground. What we have here is a double

:21:17. > :21:19.animal burial, which is incredibly unusual in itself and

:21:20. > :21:22.complete with a prehistoric flints tool at the base, we have a calf

:21:23. > :21:27.buried with a pig. This is a very large dog that

:21:28. > :21:33.appears to have died in childbirth and is

:21:34. > :21:35.buried with six chickens. I've never heard of

:21:36. > :21:37.anything like it before. So this could mean these

:21:38. > :21:49.predate the church, so they were here well before

:21:50. > :21:51.this was consecrated ground, or there is some

:21:52. > :21:57.other bizarre explanation. Well, there are builders

:21:58. > :21:58.working, there's archaeologists digging,

:21:59. > :22:00.it is chaos here! But in the church, it's

:22:01. > :22:02.like entering a completely different Services continue as normal

:22:03. > :22:12.amid the busyness outdoors. What do worshippers think

:22:13. > :22:14.of the discoveries? We are absolutely

:22:15. > :22:16.amazed and thrilled and think perhaps now our church

:22:17. > :22:19.will be on the map. People will actually

:22:20. > :22:20.know we are here. I grew up around here,

:22:21. > :22:23.so it is lovely to know that this site is much richer

:22:24. > :22:25.than we ever thought And the priest now knows his church

:22:26. > :22:31.once had a bigger presence. Everybody has thought

:22:32. > :22:33.this is a tiny little church and even refer

:22:34. > :22:34.to it as a shed, totally inconsequential

:22:35. > :22:39.and on the edge of Shrewsbury, and yet, obviously, once, it was much

:22:40. > :22:44.bigger and much more important. The animal and some

:22:45. > :22:46.human remains will eventually be reburied in a funeral

:22:47. > :22:55.service and the ground will be made into a car park, but with special

:22:56. > :22:58.building material which will be And the Archaelogical team have been

:22:59. > :23:06.in touch with us today to say that at the end of today's dig,

:23:07. > :23:09.they uncovered a wooden doorpost which they believe could be the key

:23:10. > :23:12.to proving that an Anglo Saxon It'll now be sent off

:23:13. > :23:27.for dating and analysis. Let 's receiving can return to the

:23:28. > :23:30.film premiere. It is great that this film features some landmarks on

:23:31. > :23:36.popular sites from Birmingham and the Black Country. Let 's talk to

:23:37. > :23:42.the producer now. It is very showcased in the film. What did you

:23:43. > :23:48.go to Birmingham? I've lived here the last 26 years, I am from

:23:49. > :23:54.Wolverhampton. Basically, all the other film-makers go for London and

:23:55. > :24:01.they underestimate the Black Country. There is so much to

:24:02. > :24:05.explore. That is why we decided to shoot in Birmingham. Of course, it

:24:06. > :24:11.has its world premiere and is being shown worldwide. Do you think it

:24:12. > :24:14.will attract other Indian -based directors to maybe think about

:24:15. > :24:18.coming to the West Midlands to shoot here rather than go to London?

:24:19. > :24:24.Definitely. We were talking yesterday to other directors and

:24:25. > :24:33.they are planning to shoot in Birmingham. They have already

:24:34. > :24:38.scripted the films and they are already planning to shoot here in

:24:39. > :24:46.Birmingham. That is great news. And also joined by this actor, who will

:24:47. > :24:51.you will probably recognise from Goodness Gracious Me! What is it

:24:52. > :24:57.like being in this form? You play the father of the main character's

:24:58. > :25:05.girlfriend. I was involved from day one. He turned up with this piece of

:25:06. > :25:10.work with the script and we looked at it and the audience he was

:25:11. > :25:15.looking to make it four, by setting it in Birmingham... And yet the

:25:16. > :25:19.other 50% is out in India! It has been a real joy working with the

:25:20. > :25:28.crew that has come from India, working in Birmingham and I am so

:25:29. > :25:33.happy that as a location, that this film has been made here. Lets hope

:25:34. > :25:36.for big audiences both the and in India.

:25:37. > :25:49.Yes, there have been reports. But there is the potential of this

:25:50. > :25:56.weekend to see some snow falling somewhere. It is very cold out

:25:57. > :26:00.there. This is a scene repeated right away across the West Midlands

:26:01. > :26:04.Today. We had slate grey skies everywhere. It has been very cold

:26:05. > :26:07.and temperatures only got a tee-macro Celsius in some places and

:26:08. > :26:14.we are already in minus figures in places. This weekend, it will stay

:26:15. > :26:19.increasingly chilly. It will be very cold. Temperatures staying around

:26:20. > :26:24.zero. We have plenty of cloud to, and we could start to see some

:26:25. > :26:28.wintry showers. Tonight, we still have that is delete feed drinking

:26:29. > :26:32.game that much colder air. It is starting to establish itself and

:26:33. > :26:36.will be a chilly night. As we see those winds blowing game, that cold

:26:37. > :26:41.air Contin used and eye on the map because it is a very cold night. We

:26:42. > :26:47.are starting to see the cloud squeeze out the odd shower as that

:26:48. > :26:54.means the colder air. It is likely to fall as sleet, possibly snow. It

:26:55. > :26:58.probably won't cause too much trouble. Temperatures of minus one.

:26:59. > :27:06.A little better in the centre of the region. There is an ice risks

:27:07. > :27:10.tomorrow morning, so take care. We continue to see wintry showers

:27:11. > :27:13.through the day and it will be a cloudy day, with temperatures not

:27:14. > :27:20.doing well at all. They should get to about 2-3 C at best, but the wind

:27:21. > :27:26.will be stronger tomorrow, so it's will feel colder. Tomorrow night,

:27:27. > :27:29.cold. Starting to see a little more in the way of wintry flurries as we

:27:30. > :27:35.head over night and again, temperatures dip to minus one.

:27:36. > :27:38.Saturday, more organised showers blowing from the east and there is

:27:39. > :27:45.the potential they could cause snow accumulations at low levels.

:27:46. > :27:55.Goodbye, I will be by later. OK, everyone, have you got

:27:56. > :28:02.your bamboo sticks? If you just paint

:28:03. > :28:03.what you want to paint, I've turned around,

:28:04. > :28:09.my painting washes away. ..and take on

:28:10. > :28:15.The Big Painting Challenge. Remember, you're not painting

:28:16. > :28:18.a pond.
