:01:16. > :01:16.which is obviously causing us disruption.

:01:17. > :01:19.Incidents railway trespass are currently at an all-time high,

:01:20. > :01:22.and what is interesting is that nearly a half of all offenders say

:01:23. > :01:28.One of the most awful incidents I dealt with was on a level

:01:29. > :01:30.crossing with a young man using the crossing

:01:31. > :01:35.He didn't hear the train approaching, the train

:01:36. > :01:37.couldn't stop in time, and it did strike him,

:01:38. > :01:46.At this railway station, only last week a group of youths

:01:47. > :01:48.threw stones at a train here, smashing a window.

:01:49. > :01:55.A train running at 125 mph takes over a mile to stop.

:01:56. > :01:58.They can't see you and they and can't stop.

:02:32. > :02:34.More than 17 million motorists are expected to take to the roads

:02:35. > :02:38.over the weekend with many passing through the Midlands.

:02:39. > :02:41.And if you're travelling by rail, the train operator London Midland

:02:42. > :02:44.says services between Wolverhampton Telford are suspended

:02:45. > :02:49.The Grade II listed bridge at Albrighton station

:02:50. > :02:56.The station itself will also be closed until April 23rd.

:02:57. > :02:58.Special events have been taking place across the Midlands

:02:59. > :03:02.to mark Good Friday - one of the most important days

:03:03. > :03:04.in the Christian calendar, marking the crucifixion of Jesus

:03:05. > :03:14.Amid the shops and offices - a procession of nearly 300 people

:03:15. > :03:19.Bringing an air of calm to the familiar streets of Birmingham.

:03:20. > :03:25.When you think of it all the unrest in the world,

:03:35. > :03:36.The Easter message has been in the news after Bournville based

:03:37. > :03:39.chocolate maker Cadbury dropped the word Easter from its annual

:03:40. > :03:44.It's commercialisation will be addressed by the Bishop

:03:45. > :03:59.We mustn't allow marketing at Christmas or Easter to mislead as

:04:03. > :04:08.including other faiths, were keen to reflect on two bomb

:04:09. > :04:11.attacks against Coptic Christians in Egypt last weekend.

:04:12. > :04:12.The city has three coptic christian churches.

:04:13. > :04:22.freedom. against them about attacks against

:04:23. > :04:24.We are grateful for God's gift of freedom.

:04:25. > :04:26.We want to seek to promote that within a city.

:04:32. > :04:33.A traditional message in a turbulent world -

:05:16. > :05:24.Let's have a look at today's football results now, and

:05:35. > :05:40.In League One, Coventry City drew one all against Charlton Athletic,

:05:44. > :05:46.football for the first time in 58 years.

:05:47. > :05:49.Port Vale fans also had a miserable time of it -

:05:50. > :05:53.losing 3-0 to Sheffield United, while Shrewsbury Town held

:05:54. > :05:58.In League Two, Cheltenham's game ended in a goaless

:06:20. > :06:23.A panel of three councillors will now meet next week to decide

:06:24. > :06:29.Let's have a look at the weather forecast for the rest of the holiday

:06:30. > :06:31.weekend now from John Hammond, and is there much to

:06:32. > :06:43.It is going to be at the Easter. Rain clouds on the horizon Elliott

:06:44. > :06:50.on here in Worcestershire. We are going to get a little sprat that

:06:51. > :06:55.will last all night long, two straps and drugs. Most of us will be dry by

:06:56. > :06:59.drum but it would be a telly star to start the morning. It never gets

:07:00. > :07:04.terribly wanted tomorrow despite the fact that we will see a lot more

:07:05. > :07:08.sunshine. That is good news. Bar the odd shower, most of this will stay

:07:09. > :07:17.bright and breezy. The catch is that bright and breezy. The catch is that

:07:18. > :07:21.it will be chilly. An Easter date, there is a waving weather front

:07:22. > :07:23.coming down. The timing on that is a bit uncertain but we

:07:24. > :07:28.rain at some stage probably heaviest rain at some stage probably heaviest

:07:29. > :07:34.used towards the north and the north-east. Patchy in the size.

:07:35. > :07:41.Expect some rain during the course of the day. It will be a bit chilly.

:07:42. > :07:49.There is a glimmer of hope that it will brighten up by lunchtime. It

:07:50. > :07:49.will be called with some frost around.

:07:50. > :07:53.And tha around. t's all for now.

:07:54. > :07:56.I'm back with our next bulletin which is at 22:20pm.

:07:57. > :08:16.To think that this time last weekend, temperatures were in the

:08:17. > :08:22.20s. They got up to 25.5. Much cooler across the country this

:08:23. > :08:26.weekend. And this headline is true for the weather next week. That cool

:08:27. > :08:31.air stream from the north will persist. The mild air tries to get

:08:32. > :08:36.in, but never really wins. What have we got for the rest of today? The

:08:37. > :08:42.rain we had across Wales earlier will move southwards, but once the

:08:43. > :08:46.rain reaches you, it will be much lighter. Across many northern areas,

:08:47. > :08:51.the skies will clear up altogether. It will be a nippy night. Certainly

:08:52. > :08:56.a touch of frost northern areas, but not in the south. There will be

:08:57. > :08:57.wintry
