:00:00. > :00:08.Driving the development of electric cars,

:00:09. > :00:13.How the region is lagging behind on recharging stations.

:00:14. > :00:15.It's an industry where we can create tens of thousands

:00:16. > :00:17.of jobs in the future, but they're not actually putting

:00:18. > :00:20.the infrastructure in place here in the West Midlands

:00:21. > :00:26.to actually encourage people to go and drive these cars.

:00:27. > :00:31.In the past, the Government paid for new charging stations, but now the

:00:32. > :00:34.private sector and car makers are expected to foot the bill. That is

:00:35. > :00:35.what is happening at this service area.

:00:36. > :00:39.Day one in the new job - tackling homelessness and congestion.

:00:40. > :00:42.Andy Street sets out his priorities as West Midlands Mayor.

:00:43. > :00:45.I thought the most important thing I'm going to do today

:00:46. > :00:52.and the tone is about being a leader for all of the West Midlands.

:00:53. > :00:55.The body in a wardrobe - a man appears in court charged

:00:56. > :00:59.with preventing the lawful burial of a teenage girl.

:01:00. > :01:03.The hoard of Roman coins found on land owned by - wait for it -

:01:04. > :01:09.And with some of you crying out for rain,

:01:10. > :01:10.we're still holding on to drier conditions

:01:11. > :01:14.but although yesterday's temperatures may be hard to beat,

:01:15. > :01:29.There's been a huge surge in the number of electric cars

:01:30. > :01:32.on the road, but trying to charge them here

:01:33. > :01:35.The region has among the smallest number

:01:36. > :01:38.of electric car charging points in the country.

:01:39. > :01:42.There are 757 in the region, according to the website Zap Map,

:01:43. > :01:48.compared with 2,750 in London and 1,800 in Scotland.

:01:49. > :01:51.That's despite this region being at the centre

:01:52. > :01:53.for research and development into electric vehicles,

:01:54. > :01:56.with millions of pounds being invested in the industry.

:01:57. > :02:03.It is widely predicted many more of us

:02:04. > :02:07.will be driving electric vehicles in just a few years' time.

:02:08. > :02:10.But, despite being named as a hub for research and development,

:02:11. > :02:12.it seems the West Midlands has been slow to catch up

:02:13. > :02:16.when it comes to the infrastructure.

:02:17. > :02:19.We are very much at the forefront of this electric car revolution,

:02:20. > :02:22.and it's an industry where we can create tens of thousands of jobs

:02:23. > :02:24.in the future, but we're not actually putting the infrastructure

:02:25. > :02:28.to actually encourage people to go and drive these cars.

:02:29. > :02:33.Rachel Butler and her husband bought two electric cars in February.

:02:34. > :02:35.She says they have been delighted with them,

:02:36. > :02:40.I do think the country needs to step up

:02:41. > :02:42.and probably put more charge points in,

:02:43. > :02:45.just because I think we're going to go that way.

:02:46. > :02:51."I never even thought of buying an electric car."

:02:52. > :02:55.And now they are considering an electric car.

:02:56. > :02:58.The average vehicle is able to drive for 100 to 125 miles

:02:59. > :03:05.Electric cars are changing the way we use our vehicles here in the UK

:03:06. > :03:08.Instead of popping to the petrol station to fill up,

:03:09. > :03:12.we will be using these, electric car charging points.

:03:13. > :03:16.Plug them in, go for a coffee, and we're good to go.

:03:17. > :03:21.Car dealers in the West Midlands are reporting huge upturns in sales

:03:22. > :03:27.Going through the years, momentum has gained.

:03:28. > :03:30.In the last quarter, January to March this year,

:03:31. > :03:35.Nissan sold more Leafs that they have in any quarter

:03:36. > :03:41.With sales booming, the irony is this lack of charging points

:03:42. > :03:44.could end up putting people off buying the very vehicles

:03:45. > :03:52.our region has played a large part in developing.

:03:53. > :03:53.Our transport correspondent, Peter Plisner,

:03:54. > :03:57.is at a motorway service area in Worcestershire this evening,

:03:58. > :03:59.which has more charging points than most -

:04:00. > :04:02.thanks to investment from an electric car manufacturer.

:04:03. > :04:11.Peter, what's being done to provide more charging stations?

:04:12. > :04:15.I think what is happening is the private sector has been asked to

:04:16. > :04:21.contribute more. That is why we are seeing car-makers like Tesla

:04:22. > :04:24.introducing a new network of charging stations for their users.

:04:25. > :04:26.Of course, if you are a user of any other brand of electric car, you

:04:27. > :04:32.cannot use these particular stations. There are around 12,000

:04:33. > :04:36.stations around the UK at the moment. Those figures provided by

:04:37. > :04:44.one of the biggest providers of charging stations. They say by

:04:45. > :04:51.pretty 20 they could be 20,000 across the UK. The country will --

:04:52. > :04:59.thing of all grow here as well. Why is the region lacking behind when it

:05:00. > :05:03.comes to charging stations? It was previously the Government that paid

:05:04. > :05:07.for new charging stations, but with a shortfall in funding, there has

:05:08. > :05:11.been a lull. Now there is a growing interest in electric cars, so

:05:12. > :05:15.questions are being asked about why we have not got so many stations

:05:16. > :05:20.here in the West Midlands. As I say, that is expected to grow. You have

:05:21. > :05:23.said there is a growing interest, but will only ship increase in the

:05:24. > :05:28.next couple of years? It has been pretty slow in the last few years,

:05:29. > :05:33.but with things like rising fuel prices and those concerns about

:05:34. > :05:35.emissions from diesel engines, a lot more people are thinking about

:05:36. > :05:41.electric cars will stop figures I've seen suggest there 100,000 electric

:05:42. > :05:43.cars on the road at the moment, but that could rise to 1 million by 20

:05:44. > :05:46.20. Thank you. Reducing homelessness and tackling

:05:47. > :05:48.congestion on our roads - by the new West Midlands

:05:49. > :05:52.Mayor, Andy Street. Our reporter, Ben Godfrey,

:05:53. > :05:54.has spent the day with him as he got used to the role

:05:55. > :05:57.of Metro Mayor. A warning his report contains

:05:58. > :05:59.some flash photography. Here's the man voters have chosen

:06:00. > :06:14.to grow the West Midlands economy. Good morning. Do I call you Mr

:06:15. > :06:18.Mayor? You can, or Andy. I have always been added, so why change? Do

:06:19. > :06:23.you know what you have let yourself in for? I will find out in the next

:06:24. > :06:24.few years, but I feel confident this morning, if a little daunted by the

:06:25. > :06:26.scale of the responsibility. Day one, and Andy Street -

:06:27. > :06:28.businessman turned politician - is back in the board room

:06:29. > :06:31.with the task of drawing momentum the West Midlands

:06:32. > :06:41.Combined Authority, overseeing a ?36 million annual

:06:42. > :06:44.budget. My job is to deliver it with your

:06:45. > :06:46.help. The Metro Mayor,

:06:47. > :06:48.who beat Labour's Sion Simon by less than 4,000 votes,

:06:49. > :07:00.is keen to make alliances. In some constituencies, Labour had

:07:01. > :07:06.the most boat. How would you make progress in those constituencies? I

:07:07. > :07:11.was told at the beginning of this campaign, I was to that the Tory

:07:12. > :07:16.party would do well in all of the areas. I will set a tone, and that

:07:17. > :07:17.tone is about being a leader for all of the West Midlands.

:07:18. > :07:19.Tackling congestion is high on the shopping list

:07:20. > :07:37.Labour were pushing for a nationalisation of the M6told.

:07:38. > :07:42.There were aspects that we do want to go back to. It is not a closed

:07:43. > :07:48.mind. We want to deliver, but not on the idea of nationalising the whole

:07:49. > :07:52.thing. Cutting the price for people? For certain people at certain times,

:07:53. > :07:56.that is the sort of thing we have to think about.

:07:57. > :08:00.The prime ministers was one of the first to congratulate the new Metro

:08:01. > :08:05.Mayor on Saturday. Close ties putting them out and on a sure

:08:06. > :08:10.footing at the start of his job. The Mayor and the media arrived

:08:11. > :08:13.at the charity St Basils Another of Andy Street's

:08:14. > :08:16.top priorties - to bring down

:08:17. > :08:23.the number of rough sleepers. The power of the mayor to bring

:08:24. > :08:29.people together with new authority and possibly some new cash, we don't

:08:30. > :08:34.know that yet, but that is what we are thinking about. Yes, I'm

:08:35. > :08:37.learning from the experts today. Last autumn, though almost 300

:08:38. > :08:41.people across the West Midlands sleeping rough on our streets. It is

:08:42. > :08:46.most urgent in Birmingham, where the numbers went up by 50% in just one

:08:47. > :08:50.year. It is the tip of a much bigger iceberg around homelessness. So I

:08:51. > :08:54.would like to see the map's office support the work that is going on in

:08:55. > :08:57.terms of funding homelessness, in terms of young people, so we prevent

:08:58. > :09:00.people being on the street in the first place.

:09:01. > :09:04.and you get the impression Andy Street has the ambition

:09:05. > :09:06.and drive to fulfil his election promises.

:09:07. > :09:12.Some say he'll need it all now his business is politics.

:09:13. > :09:16.has been campaigning in the Midlands today,

:09:17. > :09:19.setting out his plans if he became Prime Minister.

:09:20. > :09:22.In Leamington Spa, he told a crowd that one of his first priorities,

:09:23. > :09:25.would be to start a programme of housebuilding -

:09:26. > :09:33.He said Labour wanted an economy and society that "works for all".

:09:34. > :09:35.We need a serious national initiative

:09:36. > :09:41.by building for those that need homes,

:09:42. > :09:43.rather than building for speculative investment

:09:44. > :09:47.to keep them empty to make more money out of them in the future.

:09:48. > :09:50.And there's more information about the general election

:09:51. > :09:56.and who's standing on the BBC's politics pages.

:09:57. > :09:59.charged with preventing the lawful burial of a teenage girl.

:10:00. > :10:02.Megan Bills from Stourbridge was found in a wardrobe,

:10:03. > :10:06.which had been wrapped in cling film,

:10:07. > :10:09.24-year-old Ashley Foster was remanded in custody,

:10:10. > :10:12.to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court next month.

:10:13. > :10:17.Forensic officers removing evidence from the flat

:10:18. > :10:23.where the remains of 17-year-old Megan Bills

:10:24. > :10:32.24-year-old Ashley Foster of no fixed address appeared this morning

:10:33. > :10:38.before Dudley magistrates, charged with preventing a lawful and decent

:10:39. > :10:42.burial. Police were called to this address last week after neighbours

:10:43. > :10:47.reported a smell. Inside one of the flats was a double wardrobe, wrapped

:10:48. > :10:50.in clingfilm. When they opened it, they found the remains of a young

:10:51. > :10:55.woman. Today, the court was told that that body had been there for a

:10:56. > :10:57.considerable amount of time, at least a couple of weeks.

:10:58. > :11:00.Police also discovered a fan in the flat pointing towards a window.

:11:01. > :11:03."we are devastated by the loss of our daughter,

:11:04. > :11:06.whose life has so unnecessarily been cut short.

:11:07. > :11:10.The building, which is used as a hostel,

:11:11. > :11:12.is situated in the middle of a residential street,

:11:13. > :11:25.One man living just a few doors away told me people wanted it gone.

:11:26. > :11:34.Basically, people want this centre moved from here. If they don't close

:11:35. > :11:37.this, then I might have no alternative than to move somewhere

:11:38. > :11:39.else because we don't want the living around this area.

:11:40. > :11:41.Four days on, the property remains sealed off,

:11:42. > :11:43.as police continue to investigate how Megan died.

:11:44. > :11:45.Ashley Foster was remanded in custody

:11:46. > :11:53.and will appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court next month.

:11:54. > :11:56.Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

:11:57. > :12:00.The 26-year-old victim was shot in the arm yesterday evening,

:12:01. > :12:02.on Northwood Street in the Jewellery Quarter.

:12:03. > :12:05.He's in a stable condition in hospital.

:12:06. > :12:08.Two men, aged 21 and 20, were arrested in Hodnet Grove,

:12:09. > :12:16.part of which remains cordoned off for forensic examination.

:12:17. > :12:18.A fire at a food wholesalers in Stoke-on-Trent

:12:19. > :12:21.It broke out at Cater Choice on Portland Street

:12:22. > :12:25.Police say it was fortunate the building had been emptied

:12:26. > :12:33.yesterday and that there was nothing valuable inside.

:12:34. > :12:36.Two men posing as police officers have been trying to lure members

:12:37. > :12:39.of the public into a stolen unmarked police car,

:12:40. > :12:41.West Midlands Police have issued a warning

:12:42. > :12:43.after a female motorist was flagged down

:12:44. > :12:46.and asked to get into their silver coloured car on Saturday.

:12:47. > :12:47.Police say it's since been travelling across

:12:48. > :12:53.A jury has been shown CCTV footage which allegedly shows

:12:54. > :12:56.a would-be terrorist investigating a storm drain,

:12:57. > :12:59.close to the main West Coast railway line.

:13:00. > :13:03.Today the court heard that guerrilla warfare manuals were also found

:13:04. > :13:05.at the defendant's home in Birmingham,

:13:06. > :13:08.containing advice about ambushing and derailing trains.

:13:09. > :13:14.Zahid Hussain denies all the charges,

:13:15. > :13:15.including preparing for an act of terrorism.

:13:16. > :13:17.Our special correspondent, Peter Wilson, was in court.

:13:18. > :13:21.As a Virgin train passes in the early hours of July 2015,

:13:22. > :13:24.the prosecution claim that a hooded figure seen nearby

:13:25. > :13:27.was that of Zahid Hussain, a 29-year-old Birmingham man.

:13:28. > :13:31.Later, CCTV captured a man struggling

:13:32. > :13:36.to lever up a manhole cover with a crowbar

:13:37. > :13:43.The prosecution allege the footage shows Mr Hussain investigating

:13:44. > :13:47.the high-speed stretch of railway as a possible target.

:13:48. > :13:50.He denies attempting to make a pressure cooker bomb

:13:51. > :13:58.The CCTV was taken here in Woodlands Road in Alum Rock.

:13:59. > :14:02.The prosecution told the jury there is no evidence that Mr Hussain

:14:03. > :14:10.had targeted any particular section of railway line for an attack,

:14:11. > :14:14.but they said that is reasonable to infer

:14:15. > :14:18.that he may have contemplated the use of railway lines

:14:19. > :14:24.It's alleged that he'd improvised detonator parts

:14:25. > :14:29.A pressure cooker packed with chemicals

:14:30. > :14:33.also contained hundreds of nails and screws.

:14:34. > :14:40.two books detailing how to ambush and derail trains.

:14:41. > :14:43.It was claimed in court that the defendant told detectives

:14:44. > :14:45.that he wasn't planning on detonating

:14:46. > :14:52.Instead, he wanted to sell it to the Sun newspaper for money.

:14:53. > :14:55.Zahid Hussain has been given permission to witness his trial

:14:56. > :15:00.via a video link from a psychiatric unit.

:15:01. > :15:10.Thanks for joining us on Midlands Today.

:15:11. > :15:12.Your detailed weather forecast for the week ahead to come shortly.

:15:13. > :15:26.Inspiring the next generation, the England cricket captain is in

:15:27. > :15:30.Warwickshire ahead of this summer's women as macro World Cup.

:15:31. > :15:32.And more than 500 roman coins discovered in Herefordshire

:15:33. > :15:34.go on show at the site where they were found -

:15:35. > :15:44.Let's turn to sport - lots to talk about from the weekend.

:15:45. > :15:47.Dan is here, we'll start with the escape from relegation

:15:48. > :15:58.Yes, yesterday was the final day of football's championship. This is

:15:59. > :16:03.where our teams finished. They are all in the bottom half. Aston Villa

:16:04. > :16:09.were 13th, all is 15th, Birmingham City 19th and Burton Albion were

:16:10. > :16:13.20th. That does not tell the full story. The blues went into the final

:16:14. > :16:16.game under the threat of relegation. This was Birmingham City's

:16:17. > :16:19.final match of the season. win at Bristol City

:16:20. > :16:22.and they'd survive. Tries to turn inside

:16:23. > :16:25.the penalty area. Che Adams has scored

:16:26. > :16:28.for Birmingham City! And the final whistle goes,

:16:29. > :16:34.and Birmingham City are safe. Harry Redknapp has won two

:16:35. > :16:37.of his three games in charge. I met them last night

:16:38. > :16:42.for the first time, and I had a very

:16:43. > :16:46.interesting meeting. They are very nice,

:16:47. > :16:48.very good people. They obviously want to

:16:49. > :16:52.take the club forward. They are not going to throw crazy

:16:53. > :16:55.money at the prospect, to try to achieve that,

:16:56. > :17:00.but they will invest. It's just a case of wait

:17:01. > :17:05.and see, really now. Despite flirting dangerously close

:17:06. > :17:07.to relegation, the Blues actually finished

:17:08. > :17:09.above Burton Albion. but lost their final game 4-2

:17:10. > :17:16.against play-off bound Reading. Danny Batth scoring the only goal

:17:17. > :17:21.in the first minute in a game

:17:22. > :17:25.which had nothing resting on it. The Championship title

:17:26. > :17:28.was on the line at Villa Park. And when Villa's Nathan Baker

:17:29. > :17:32.was sent off after conceding a penalty, Brighton were on course

:17:33. > :17:34.for the silverware But Brighton hearts were broken

:17:35. > :17:40.by an 89th minute equaliser It meant that Newcastle

:17:41. > :17:45.won the league. But back at

:17:46. > :17:47.the Bristol beach party, the Blues fans

:17:48. > :17:52.were celebrating just as hard. In the Premier League,

:17:53. > :17:55.Stoke City drew 2-2 at Bournemouth. Mame Biram Diouf

:17:56. > :17:58.struck late for the Potters. But a Ryan Shawcross own goal

:17:59. > :18:01.saw them share the points. And West Bromwich Albion

:18:02. > :18:03.scored their first goal But their game at Burnley

:18:04. > :18:21.also finished 2-2. As much as I would like to talk

:18:22. > :18:26.about Albion scoring twice, let's talk about Birmingham City. What an

:18:27. > :18:33.extraordinary turnaround. Last week mistakenly sent off, this week the

:18:34. > :18:36.matchwinner. The red card was rescinded, allowing him to play, and

:18:37. > :18:42.he scored the goal that won the match. Do you think Harry Redknapp

:18:43. > :18:49.will stay? I'm not sure. It was a masterstroke to bring him in for the

:18:50. > :18:54.last three matches. We shall find out this week.

:18:55. > :19:01.And ignored no game for Wasps in the premiership. Similar to Birmingham

:19:02. > :19:07.City. They beat Saracens but needed a try, and it was the fourth try

:19:08. > :19:18.from the England man. It up the bonus point finish top. They won the

:19:19. > :19:22.game by 30 points to 15. Leicester beat Worcester by 25-23,

:19:23. > :19:32.but another good showing from them. Twickenham was the venue for

:19:33. > :19:40.Droitwich, but not for them at the weekend. They lost in the final. It

:19:41. > :19:43.was 37-15 in that. They scored two tries, they will always remember

:19:44. > :19:48.that. That was their first defeat of the season. They already won the

:19:49. > :19:50.league, they got the promotion. This was their best ever season.

:19:51. > :19:52.It's a massive summer for the England women's cricket team.

:19:53. > :19:57.and hoping to lift the trophy for the first time since 2009.

:19:58. > :19:59.Well, the captain, Heather Knight, is in Warwickshire this evening

:20:00. > :20:13.Yes, I am delighted to be joined by Heather Knight, on a chilly evening.

:20:14. > :20:19.We can't go any further without asking, you are on crutches, what is

:20:20. > :20:23.the problem? My fifth metatarsal in my left foot has got a very small

:20:24. > :20:31.stress fracture. On the sly couple of weeks and then hopefully good to

:20:32. > :20:38.go. Because we thank all you have committed to coming to see them.

:20:39. > :20:42.Hopefully I'll be fit and ready to lead the team out at the World Cup.

:20:43. > :20:48.The most publicised women's World Cup ever, and we have got some of

:20:49. > :20:51.the best fans in the world. Massively excited. Hopefully I will

:20:52. > :20:56.be out there and ready to go. We will find some of the kids that you

:20:57. > :21:03.want to inspire. Come with me and we will find Zara. How good has it been

:21:04. > :21:13.to have the women's captain tonight? It is good to know the what it is

:21:14. > :21:15.like to play for England. How are you enjoying it this evening Quetta

:21:16. > :21:22.muck it is really good because she has taught us different things,

:21:23. > :21:29.encouraged us. That's fantastic. Come over here Darcy, Howell much

:21:30. > :21:34.you looking forward to seeing the women winning the World Cup? Really

:21:35. > :21:37.good. I've bet they are going to win. It will be fantastic if they

:21:38. > :21:39.could win that World Cup here on home soil for the first time since

:21:40. > :21:44.2009. It will be terrific and we do wish

:21:45. > :21:51.her a very speedy recovery. Great for the junk and fans.

:21:52. > :21:54.-- great for those young cricket fans.

:21:55. > :21:56.unearthed by two metal detector enthusiasts,

:21:57. > :21:59.have gone on display close to where they were found

:22:00. > :22:02.The land belongs to none other than a Mr Treasure!

:22:03. > :22:06.and have now returned from the British Museum.

:22:07. > :22:08.This is the hoard of 518 Roman coins

:22:09. > :22:11.hidden in a field in Herefordshire for 1,700 years.

:22:12. > :22:14.When you look at the quality of these coins,

:22:15. > :22:18.That was until two of duty paramedics

:22:19. > :22:26.They'd been deposited in a leather satchel.

:22:27. > :22:29.Inside the satchel, there were several hessian bags,

:22:30. > :22:33.and those bags, we found, were stuffed with leaves.

:22:34. > :22:36.They were hidden under two very large stones to keep it well hidden.

:22:37. > :22:40.It's the sort of thing you always dream of,

:22:41. > :22:47.you almost can't believe what you found.

:22:48. > :22:49.Once we found it, we realised what it was.

:22:50. > :22:51.We immediately knew it was a very important historical artefact

:22:52. > :22:55.The hoard's worth a few hundred pounds, and was declared treasure.

:22:56. > :22:58.It's now on display close to where it was found at tourist

:22:59. > :23:02.attraction Stockton Gardens at Kimbolton near Leominster.

:23:03. > :23:08.The coins date back to around 270 AD, a time of war, of chaos.

:23:09. > :23:10.When you get instability, people will sort of go

:23:11. > :23:13.and put their horde or their coins and bury them,

:23:14. > :23:17.Because I think you wouldn't be able to trust...

:23:18. > :23:19.You wouldn't know what was going to happen the next day.

:23:20. > :23:30.land owned by the aptly-named Raymond Treasure, and he had to

:23:31. > :23:35.invent a white lie to keep people away while the land was excavated.

:23:36. > :23:38.We parked a tractor over the top of the site and told everybody

:23:39. > :23:42.that there was an unexploded bomb to keep people away!

:23:43. > :23:51.Since the coins were discovered four years ago, every bit

:23:52. > :23:55.of this field has been searched, and nothing else has been found.

:23:56. > :23:59.Only the earth knows the secret of who buried the treasure here,

:24:00. > :24:08.close to where there was once a Roman road.

:24:09. > :24:12.After some lovely sun yesterday, temperatures dropped again today.

:24:13. > :24:20.and gardeners and farmers still want rain!

:24:21. > :24:26.They are desperate and. We looking for it to the end of the week. This

:24:27. > :24:31.was the state of the ground today, and this was after the UK as a whole

:24:32. > :24:35.only saw 47% of the average rainfall for last month. I'm afraid the dry

:24:36. > :24:45.spell is going to continue into the middle part of me. The theme from

:24:46. > :24:58.last week is continuing, due to the easterly strolling in more of the

:24:59. > :25:01.western part of the region. Today across Evesham, more like 14 and 15

:25:02. > :25:05.degrees. This is what is keeping things settled at the moment. High

:25:06. > :25:10.pressure is sitting across us, drawing in winds from the East,

:25:11. > :25:14.drawing in the cloud from the North Sea. By the end of Thursday, we have

:25:15. > :25:18.got low pressure taking over which will be bringing in rain from the

:25:19. > :25:22.South, which will spread northwards through Friday and into the start of

:25:23. > :25:26.the weekend. You could see some heavy downpours from that, but it

:25:27. > :25:31.moves northwards and may become lighter. We are hoping that it

:25:32. > :25:34.doesn't do so for the farmers and gardeners. This evening, there is a

:25:35. > :25:39.clear line marking the boundary between cloudy conditions to the

:25:40. > :25:44.east and clearer conditions to the West. The cloud moves across all

:25:45. > :25:48.parts during the course of the night. Temperatures will hold up to

:25:49. > :25:51.around six or seven Celsius, but in the clearest bells across the

:25:52. > :25:59.south-west, temperatures may reach as low as four Celsius, low in the

:26:00. > :26:03.countryside. You will see some pleasant spells of sunshine once

:26:04. > :26:09.again tomorrow across western areas more particularly. With the figure

:26:10. > :26:14.cloud, just the odd spot of rain. Temperatures between 13 and 15

:26:15. > :26:16.Celsius. The cloud will shrink back tomorrow night, so much clearer

:26:17. > :26:20.skies as we head into Wednesday. That is when we get the best of the

:26:21. > :26:23.sunshine this week. Cloudy and warm at was the end the week.

:26:24. > :26:25.On tomorrow's programme, an ancient castle -

:26:26. > :26:27.which has stood over Herefordshire's Golden Valley

:26:28. > :26:30.is finally to be renovated after decades of neglect.

:26:31. > :26:33.Snodhill Castle has been saved by a group of villagers

:26:34. > :26:35.and secured a grant of ?500,000 to stabilise and repair

:26:36. > :26:43.I feel that we're actually honouring the people who built this place

:26:44. > :26:45.by looking after it now on their behalf,

:26:46. > :26:49.and not restoring it in an artificial way,

:26:50. > :26:58.That's all from us for now, I'll be back with your next news at 10:30pm.
