:03:15. > :03:17.across ten treatment centres to find out whether giving blood before

:03:18. > :03:27.Prehospital medicine is becoming more and more widely recognised

:03:28. > :03:34.We want to find out if what we are doing in our area

:03:35. > :03:41.The patients who qualify will be near death -

:03:42. > :03:43.no pulse, serious injuries, haemorrhaging with a blood

:03:44. > :03:46.These boxes are made by the Royal Wolverhampton Hospital.

:03:47. > :03:49.Medics here don't know if they contain blood or salty water.

:03:50. > :03:51.It's important to know if the blood works because if they used

:03:52. > :03:54.them on helicopters, it could take up a large part

:03:55. > :03:57.500 patients will be followed over the next three years.
