:00:10. > :00:11.the sexual violence campaigner who used her own experiences

:00:12. > :00:15.to change the law surrounding rape cases.

:00:16. > :00:17.The 51-year-old from Hednesford in Staffordshire was the first

:00:18. > :00:21.person to waive her legal right to anonymity after

:00:22. > :00:23.she survived what became known as the Ealing Vicarage Rape

:00:24. > :00:28.Today's service at Lichfield Cathedral was a celebration

:00:29. > :00:30.of the life of a woman described as

:00:31. > :00:33."very loving, very caring, and absolutely beautiful".

:00:34. > :00:39.Doing what she did best, speaking out.

:00:40. > :00:41.People often say that they feel like they have been raped again

:00:42. > :00:48.Jill Saward was only 21 when she was raped by two men in 1986

:00:49. > :00:51.during a burglary at her father's London vicarage.

:00:52. > :00:55.Incredibly, the perpetrators received much shorter sentences

:00:56. > :00:57.than the man who had committed the burglary.

:00:58. > :01:01.That set in motion what was to become her life's work -

:01:02. > :01:06.campaigning for victims of sexual assault and for changes in the law.

:01:07. > :01:09.Her identical twin sister Sue Lancaster and Jill's

:01:10. > :01:12.husband Gavin Drake knew how special she was and

:01:13. > :01:26.But we have been supported by so many thousands of people

:01:27. > :01:30.She knew she was making a difference but she couldn't take

:01:31. > :01:34.the compliments always because to her she wasn't

:01:35. > :01:40.Sue is not sure if she can never follow in her sister's footsteps.

:01:41. > :01:44.I have thought about whether I should step up and try

:01:45. > :01:51.and take her place but I just don't think I can.

:01:52. > :01:58.Jill was involved with Lichfield Diocese for many years.

:01:59. > :02:01.She was very courageous, she was very humble and she did

:02:02. > :02:06.a great deal and stuck at things with a great deal of determination.

:02:07. > :02:09.As the service got underway, eulogies echoed around

:02:10. > :02:14.I know there are many, many people alive today

:02:15. > :02:19.We looked after each other as best we could over the years

:02:20. > :02:25.Jill was a survivor and used her traumatic

:02:26. > :02:40.Very loving and very caring and very, very beautiful.

:02:41. > :02:42.The Chairman of Staffordshire digger maker JCB

:02:43. > :02:45.is one of the first of our business leaders to give his reaction

:02:46. > :02:48.to the Prime Minister's speech today about leaving the EU.

:02:49. > :02:51.Lord Bamford, who backed the leave campaign, says he was

:02:56. > :02:59.But what do smaller businesses feel about the plan

:05:27. > :05:36.Two disability-rights campaigners from South Shropshire have failed

:05:37. > :05:39.in their second attempt to persuade judges to reconsider changes

:07:33. > :07:45.The Centre for Clinical Haemotology opened in 2006 and gave patients

:07:46. > :07:48.access to more than 25 trials not normally available in

:07:49. > :07:55.But success in saving lives has had a big impact,

:07:56. > :07:57.they're running at capacity and need to expand.

:07:58. > :07:59.It will cost ?3.5 million, two thirds of which is coming

:08:00. > :08:03.So they still need a drive for ?1 million.

:08:59. > :09:05.Others supporting the fundraising campaign are the broadcaster

:09:08. > :09:14.Worcester City council has put forward plans

:09:15. > :09:19.The city held its first 10k race in 2014

:09:20. > :09:21.and hosting a half marathon would put it on a par
