:03:12. > :03:16.players, hoping to forge their careers, sporting success avoiding
:03:17. > :03:18.the glare of publicity. The current crop of players we were an armband
:03:19. > :03:23.as they take on Norwich at the weekend. A book of condolence has
:03:24. > :03:24.opened here. Tonight, I spoke to John Richards, who paid this
:03:25. > :03:32.tribute. She had everything. She was
:03:33. > :03:36.tireless, she was talented, she was very loyal to people. She was full
:03:37. > :03:42.of energy, always helping other people and of course she was
:03:43. > :03:47.Wolverhampton surrendering. She was a screw Wilf. She had time for
:03:48. > :03:54.everybody and I just cannot believe the amount of work that she did.
:03:55. > :03:57.The impact will be felt we beyond Molineaux, will it not?
:03:58. > :04:00.She grew up in Wolverhampton, she was the teachers, she went to the
:04:01. > :04:04.girls' high school. Her legacy will live on. She got freedom of the city
:04:05. > :04:09.of overactive in 2011. The city council leader paid tribute to her
:04:10. > :04:14.today. She is a fantastic ambassador. Her son, Ben, said she
:04:15. > :04:17.had a profound influence in many fields, government, cricket,
:04:18. > :04:21.politics, food bowl. Her tenacity broken glass ceilings.

:04:24. > :04:25.A leading property developer has told the BBC that Chinese investors
:04:26. > :04:28.are increasingly choosing to buy in Birmingham, rather than more
:04:29. > :04:30.glamorous locations such as Sydney and New York.

:04:34. > :04:34.Britain's second city an increasingly safe bet.
:04:35. > :04:37.With growing demand for housing, many Chinese investors are focusing

:05:19. > :05:24.area of Digbeth is really receptive to big dense schemes like this one.
:05:25. > :05:26.And part of the reason is the proposed HS2 station
:05:27. > :05:38.There are also plans for a Metro line.
:05:39. > :05:40.In Birmingham's jewellery quarter, have Chinese have already
:05:41. > :05:43.Almost 80 apartments are going up and the delegation
:05:44. > :05:45.is eager to invest in more projects like this.
:05:46. > :05:49.This is the second largest city in the UK, most promising land here.
:05:50. > :05:52.And also your leader, Theresa May, will be heavily putting her focus
:05:53. > :05:58.You've got lots of cranes here, lots of development.
:05:59. > :06:03.The latest figures suggest that 54 major projects across the whole
:06:04. > :06:06.of the West Midlands have been funded by the Chinese
:06:07. > :06:08.over the last ten years, and that 23 of those have happened
:06:09. > :06:23.And it is not just Chinese money coming to the region.
:06:24. > :06:25.We have Canadian money invested into Paradise,
:06:26. > :06:27.Middle Eastern money invested into the Colmore building.
