:00:18. > :00:25.It may look beautiful in the winter sun, but last night local people

:00:26. > :00:29.were sickened to see hundreds of fish gasping

:00:30. > :00:36.Acid from a nearby water treatment works flowed into the Morda,

:00:37. > :00:42.Staff at Western Pools Fishery witnessed the river

:00:43. > :00:48.They fear it'll take years for the habitat to recover.

:00:49. > :00:51.The river was white and there was evidence of dead and dying fish.

:00:52. > :00:54.The length of time it's taken to build up this system,

:00:55. > :00:57.plus four or five generations of trout

:00:58. > :01:01.which spawned after the original, all wiped out.

:01:02. > :01:05.By this afternoon, the dead fish had been washed downstream after water

:01:06. > :01:08.levels were raised to flush the pollution out.

:01:09. > :01:11.The Environment Agency has launched an investigation and is working

:01:12. > :01:16.There's acid that has gone into this river.

:01:17. > :01:19.Even for our staff that are working here today

:01:20. > :01:21.and the work that we're doing, we have to be exceptionally

:01:22. > :01:25.I advise people to keep their pets, themselves out of the water and,

:01:26. > :01:27.where possible, keep livestock out of the water

:01:28. > :01:32.Fortunately, the pollution doesn't appear to have got

:01:33. > :01:39.But the owners fear it'll be a long time before the River Morda is once

:01:40. > :01:50.As Donald Trump settles into his new life in the White House,

:01:51. > :01:52.it's not just in America that his Presidential inauguration

:01:53. > :01:57.Here in the Midlands opinion is equally divided,

:01:58. > :02:04.As Donald Trump became the 45th president of the

:02:42. > :02:48.I have my doubts about whether he's wired up right.

:02:49. > :02:51.Some of the things he says are excellent, but some

:02:52. > :02:53.of the other things, I think he's just gone

:02:54. > :02:58.My view is to give him a bit of time and just see how it goes.

:05:34. > :05:36.sat in front of you telling you exactly how it feels to not be

:05:37. > :05:39.able to move around their city centre or that they can't get

:05:40. > :05:42.a house that's suitable for them to live in,

:05:43. > :05:47.you don't really get the human feeling of it.

:05:48. > :05:50.Coventry City Council maintains that its shared space is safe

:05:51. > :05:53.and that schemes developed in consultation with

:05:54. > :06:00.But despite concerns of some, the use of shared space is growing
