:00:19. > :00:21.It comes after a man died in the city centre overnight

:00:22. > :00:26.The man who died was found in Fletcher's Walk in the early

:00:27. > :00:30.Police say he was homeless and believed to be in his 30s.

:00:31. > :00:32.Despite help from paramedics, he couldn't be saved.

:00:33. > :00:36.He'd been helped in the past by Birmingham homeless outreach.

:00:37. > :00:39.This lad that died this morning was very, very popular.

:00:40. > :00:44.He had a lot of friends on the streets, they loved him,

:00:45. > :00:51.And we're seeing young kids out here with drink and drug problems,

:00:52. > :00:54.family problems out here, off their face on this.

:00:55. > :00:58.You know, they can't move, they can't talk.

:00:59. > :01:03.And within a few months, I'll be honest, most of them die.

:01:04. > :01:07.Black Mamba, aka Spice, was recently reclassified from legal

:01:08. > :01:12.A number of homeless charities told me use initially dropped,

:01:13. > :01:16.but in the last few months, it's surged.

:01:17. > :01:18.We are not kidding, we're having ambulances out three,

:01:19. > :01:24.four times a morning, in the afternoon, and it's

:01:25. > :01:27.because it's a class B, it's not a class A drug,

:01:28. > :01:33.And it's available everywhere, on the internet, they just ring

:01:34. > :01:35.people up, people will bring it out to them.

:01:36. > :01:40.West Midlands Police say they believe the current batch

:01:41. > :01:43.of drugs on the streets of Birmingham is potentially lethal.

:01:44. > :01:46.Officers say they will take strong action against anyone involved

:01:47. > :01:49.in the production or supply of the drugs as they work

:01:50. > :01:57.to shut down the supply chain across the region.

:02:25. > :02:28.in the Vittoria Walk area last week and was last seen on Wednesday

:02:29. > :02:33.Police say Heidi is considered vulnerable and they want her,

:02:34. > :02:37.or anyone with information, to get in touch with them.

:02:38. > :02:41.People across the region have been soaking up the sunshine today

:05:37. > :05:41.Even in the sunshine, it won't feel quite as warm as today,
