:00:31. > :00:33.As the works of Shakespeare himself reflected all walks of life,

:00:34. > :00:35.so too did the now famous Stratford-upon-Avon parade,

:00:36. > :00:38.today celebrating the playwright's 453rd birthday.

:00:39. > :00:45.Co-ordinated by the town council with the backing

:00:46. > :00:48.of the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust,

:00:49. > :00:52.the parade draws hundreds to Stratford, from locals to

:00:53. > :00:57.as the world's love affair with the Bard keeps growing.

:00:58. > :01:00.A lot of delegations from all over the world and they actually come

:01:01. > :01:02.and stay in the town and they love Stratford,

:01:03. > :01:06.and they do spend a lot of money in the town and they do

:01:07. > :01:09.a lot of shopping before they go back to their own countries.

:01:10. > :01:11.So I think, and obviously the restaurants, packed,

:01:12. > :01:16.As well as the traditional placing of floral tributes,

:01:17. > :01:20.the town was a draw for mime artists and acrobats.

:01:21. > :01:23.It was really cool, because it was my first time

:01:24. > :01:26.here and I've seen my brother doing it before and I really

:01:27. > :01:31.We weren't expecting this today so it's really good.

:01:32. > :01:32.Yes, I've enjoyed today and the friends

:01:33. > :01:40.And the this year, 10,000 sonnets scrolls have been

:01:41. > :01:44.Almost 70 of them contain a prize. Sadly, not this one.

:02:18. > :02:21.of the formation of the 1st Battalion Mercian Volunteers,

:02:22. > :02:25.and the disbandment of the 7th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment.

:02:26. > :02:27.Rail passengers are facing disruption in the region tomorrow.

:02:28. > :02:31.All lines from Bromsgrove into Birmingham, including

:02:32. > :02:35.the cross city line, will be closed while electrification

:02:36. > :02:39.Buses will be laid on as an alternative
