:01:17. > :01:21.they live in. A former MP says it reveals what the government thought

:01:21. > :01:24.about the North. When the Prime Minister came up after the riots

:01:24. > :01:34.she went around the area in a bullet-proof car. Anyone would have

:01:44. > :01:49.thought the term was deeply contentious. Today he did -- denied

:01:49. > :01:54.to the claims. I was advising that something should be done to manage

:01:54. > :01:58.the situation before we could turn it around. The papers also said

:02:51. > :02:54.went missing on Christmas Eve. Sarah Wallace is 16 but has the

:02:54. > :02:56.mental age of a four or five year old. She disappeared while out

:02:57. > :03:00.walking from her care home. Police say Sarah's particularly vulnerable

:03:00. > :03:06.as she's got in to the cars of strangers in the past. Nina

:03:06. > :03:08.Warhurst reports. With her dyed red hair, fashionable

:03:08. > :03:11.clothes and bubbly attitude, Sarah's like so many other teenage

:03:11. > :03:21.girls, but with the mental age of a young child, she's easily

:03:21. > :03:24.

:03:24. > :03:27.influenced and not fully capable of sensing danger. Sarah was last seen

:03:27. > :03:33.see up on the Sandy Lane in the Chorlton area of south Manchester

:03:33. > :03:39.at around 5:00pm on Christmas Eve. Tomorrow will mark a full week

:03:39. > :03:43.since her disappearance. Sarah is a very nice, warm individual, she is

:03:43. > :03:47.very gregarious. She will chat to people who she beats to she has

:03:47. > :03:50.never met before. That is why we are worried. It's thought Sarah was

:03:50. > :03:53.wearing this chequered shirt under a black coat. She has been known to

:03:53. > :03:56.visit the Chorlton and Rusholme area but may well have moved out of

:03:56. > :04:01.the area. Anyone with information's being asked to contact Police

:04:01. > :04:04.immediately. Football, and the region's Scottish

:04:04. > :04:07.managers have more than Hogmanay on their minds this weekend. Bolton

:04:15. > :04:17.Newcastle. And ahead of Manchester United's clash with Blackburn, Sir

:04:18. > :04:27.Alex Ferguson has again criticised the treatment of Steve Kean. Liam

:04:27. > :04:29.O'Donoghue reports. Which of our five Glaswegian

:04:29. > :04:32.managers will have the happiest Hogmanay? Things can't get much

:04:32. > :04:35.worse for Blackburn's Steve Kean. His team are rock-bottom, fans want

:04:35. > :04:38.him sacked and tomorrow his injury- ravaged side face Manchester United.

:04:38. > :04:48.United's boss sympathised with Kean, blaming the media for much of the

:04:48. > :04:50.

:04:50. > :05:00.abuse heaped on his fellow Scot. doesn't come any more difficult

:05:00. > :05:03.

:05:03. > :05:08.than going to Old Trafford could -- in the form they are in. They

:05:08. > :05:14.humiliate managers, just humiliate them. In the case of Steve, the

:05:14. > :05:19.supporters react that way and you say to you say if Defra grey you

:05:19. > :05:21.say to yourself, there is something wrong with society. Sir Alex hopes

:05:21. > :05:24.to celebrate his 70th birthday tomorrow by taking top spot from

:05:24. > :05:27.Manchester City, where Roberto Mancini today raised a toast to his

:05:27. > :05:29.rival. At second-from-bottom Bolton, Owen Coyle plans to play Gary

:05:34. > :05:42.him to Chelsea. At Anfield, Kenny Dalglish says Andy Carroll is

:05:42. > :05:45.looking forward to playing against his old club, Newcastle. He will

:05:45. > :05:49.always be a Newcastle fan whoever he is playing against. He will

:05:50. > :05:52.always do his best. But Liverpool fans want much more than the three

:05:53. > :05:56.goals Carroll has so far scored in 19 appearances since his 35

:05:56. > :06:01.million transfer. David Moyes can only dream of such money as his

:06:01. > :06:04.side travel to West Brom. Former Everton keeper Neville Southall has

:06:04. > :06:06.joked Man City buy at Harrods, we shop at Lidl.

:06:21. > :06:24.were one of 25 ticket holders to win a million pounds on the

:06:24. > :06:34.Christmas draw. They're already planning how to spend their

:06:34. > :06:34.

:06:34. > :06:42.winnings, starting with a cruise around Alaska.

:06:42. > :06:52.You would think they might want to go somewhere warm! Of I was also a

:07:04. > :07:08.tomorrow. For New Year's Day, it will cool back down. The rain has

:07:08. > :07:12.played does all the way through the day. One or two showers will

:07:12. > :07:16.continue if you are going out of this evening. The rain will

:07:16. > :07:23.gradually move away and many places will become drier. It will never be

:07:23. > :07:28.completely dry. The temperatures are the interesting thing, between

:07:28. > :07:32.7 and nine degrees. On New year's Eve, the rain will still be around,
