:00:08. > :00:10.Good evening. Welcome to North West Tonight. Our top story...

:00:10. > :00:15.This grandmother dies after saline poisoning at Stockport's Stepping

:00:15. > :00:24.Hill Hospital. The death toll now rises to five.

:00:24. > :00:28.We are live at the hospital. Also in the programme... Under the knife

:00:28. > :00:33.again. Relief as Vanessa's ruptured implant is finally removed. You can

:00:33. > :00:38.see it is all in bits. The original shell has disintegrated. That is

:00:38. > :00:44.shocking! $$NEWLINEJail for the poppy appeal thief who stole

:01:06. > :01:10.A fifth patient who was treated with contaminated saline at

:01:10. > :01:15.Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport has died. She is 60-year-old Linda

:01:15. > :01:18.McDonagh, who was a mother and grandmother. Linda was one of a

:01:18. > :01:24.number of patients given the saline between June and July last summer.

:01:24. > :01:33.Kate Simms is at Stepping Hill Hospital now. What more do we know

:01:33. > :01:38.about the woman who died? Linda McDonagh died in the early hours of

:01:38. > :01:44.last Saturday morning, 14th January. She was 60 years old and lived

:01:44. > :01:50.locally. She leaves behind both her parents, husband, three children

:01:50. > :01:53.and two grandchildren. Her family paid tribute to heart.

:01:53. > :01:59.A loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Linda McDonagh's death

:01:59. > :02:08.has left a huge hole in her family. She was depressed mother anyone

:02:08. > :02:13.could hope for, putting everyone first, kind and caring. Very gentle.

:02:13. > :02:18.Very gentle and got on with life in a graceful manner. Linda had motor

:02:18. > :02:21.neurone disease. It attacked her muscles and meant she could not

:02:21. > :02:24.speak, drink or eat. Last June, she went to Stepping Hill Hospital with

:02:25. > :02:34.pneumonia. She had been coping well. But one night, doctors noticed

:02:35. > :02:35.

:02:35. > :02:43.something strange. Her blood levels were Bury low. The saline back was

:02:43. > :02:49.changed. And glucose. That brought levels back-up and doctors remarked

:02:49. > :02:52.that it was strange. And it should not have happened. Police believe

:02:52. > :02:55.Linda was one of 20 people at Stepping Hill given contaminated

:02:55. > :02:59.saline. Four other people believed to have been poisoned in the same

:02:59. > :03:05.way have already died. 44-year-old Tracy Arden. 71-year-old Arnold

:03:05. > :03:10.Lancaster. 83-year-old Derek Weaver. All of them died last summer. A few

:03:10. > :03:13.weeks ago, 82-year-old Bill Dickson passed away. Linda McDonagh died

:03:13. > :03:17.last week after a second bout of pneumonia left her able to breathe

:03:17. > :03:22.only on a ventilator. She and her family decided to turn the machine

:03:22. > :03:28.off. They do not believe the saline contamination caused her death.

:03:28. > :03:32.might have made her weaker, but she was going to die anyway. It was

:03:32. > :03:36.just a matter of time. Last year, police charged nurse Rebecca

:03:36. > :03:41.Leighton in relation to the contamination. All charges were

:03:41. > :03:44.later dropped. Male nurse, Victorino Chua, remains on police

:03:44. > :03:47.bail after being questioned on suspicion of murder and GBH.

:03:47. > :03:53.Meanwhile, officers say they are now carrying out tests to establish

:03:53. > :03:58.exactly how Linda McDonagh died. You get a sense of just how vast

:03:58. > :04:02.and complicated this investigation has become for police, particularly

:04:02. > :04:08.because of their health problems that people like Linda McDonagh at.

:04:08. > :04:17.Today, Linda McDonagh's family bank this that at this hospital, saying

:04:17. > :04:19.the treatment from the NHS was second to none. Back to the studio.

:04:19. > :04:27.Next tonight. One Lancashire woman's remarkable story after she

:04:27. > :04:30.had to have her ruptured PIP breast implants replaced. Vanessa Halstead

:04:30. > :04:34.has told North West Tonight she was left in excruciating pain after one

:04:34. > :04:42.disintegrated inside her. The controversial implants have been

:04:42. > :04:44.back in the headlines again. Women who have had them staged a protest

:04:44. > :04:47.outside the private clinic Surgicare in Manchester. The

:04:47. > :04:52.French-made implants were filled with the wrong kind of silicon. And

:04:52. > :04:56.these women want them replaced for free. They put this in my body. I

:04:56. > :05:02.did not ask them to put this into my body. I wante it removed and

:05:02. > :05:06.replaced. We should not have to replace them. We need to have to go

:05:06. > :05:12.through surgery again. At a cost to ourselves again unless these are

:05:12. > :05:16.remove. I will be a different woman. I am having them removed. My health

:05:16. > :05:25.is more important than what my body looks like. 300,000 PIP implants

:05:25. > :05:28.In this country, it is estimated 40,000 women have had them. The

:05:28. > :05:32.government has pledged to pay for the 3000 women who had them fitted

:05:32. > :05:42.on the NHS, but no more. Vanessa Halstead had to have hers replaced

:05:42. > :05:43.

:05:43. > :05:46.after one ruptured. This report It is a day that Vanessa has waited

:05:46. > :05:51.four long months for. The operation to remove a faulty implant for her

:05:52. > :06:01.body. Vanessa, a promotions model, had PIP implants put in in 2004.

:06:01. > :06:07.Last October, the pain began. was excruciating. Once its that it,

:06:07. > :06:10.everything was triggered off by a run. -- once it started.

:06:10. > :06:13.ultrasound showed one of Vanessa's implants had ruptured inside her.

:06:13. > :06:18.She went back to the company who had fitted them, Surgicare in

:06:18. > :06:22.Manchester. She said she was told she would need to pay full price

:06:22. > :06:27.all over again. Something they have refused to comment on. Angry,

:06:27. > :06:34.disappointed, let down. Where do I go next? There was just not enough

:06:34. > :06:38.support. Finally, on the recommendation of a friend, she has

:06:38. > :06:46.come to a private clinic in Preston. Under local anaesthetic, she will

:06:46. > :06:52.be awake for the entire procedure. The operation will last less than

:06:52. > :06:56.an hour and a half. The clinic is not making a profit. It is only

:06:56. > :06:59.covering its costs. Something private surgeons across the country

:06:59. > :07:04.have been asked to consider doing by the British Association of

:07:04. > :07:08.Plastic Surgeons. The it is out. Slowly and carefully, the ruptured

:07:08. > :07:18.implant is removed. Broken into piece after piece, it is stained a

:07:18. > :07:22.

:07:22. > :07:31.bright yellow. The Shell feels brutal, like an eggshell. That

:07:31. > :07:34.should have come out in one piece? Yes, many others would do that. The

:07:34. > :07:42.Once removed, both implants are replaced and the operation is

:07:42. > :07:47.quickly over. This is the implant from the right breast. There is no

:07:47. > :07:54.reason why one would rupture and one would not. The capsule I am

:07:54. > :08:01.holding now, of the PIP implied, it is poor quality than what we

:08:02. > :08:09.consider good standard. Any minor trauma to the chess -- chest, such

:08:09. > :08:16.as playing sport, may lead to rupture. And just minutes later,

:08:16. > :08:20.Vanessa comes face-to-face with what was inside her. That is

:08:21. > :08:27.shocking. Which is why I want to know why Vanessa was so determined

:08:27. > :08:35.to replace her implants. I went up quite a few sizes, so my skin was

:08:35. > :08:41.stretched, I would feel funny or look up normal. I know these

:08:41. > :08:47.implants will be fine. Vanessa has now set up a website offering

:08:47. > :08:54.advice and support to other women like her.

:08:54. > :09:04.That is quite astonishing to see that. We are joined by Kevin

:09:04. > :09:04.

:09:04. > :09:06.Hancock, a consultant plastic surgeon based in Liverpool. The

:09:07. > :09:13.government says there is no increased chance of rupture with

:09:13. > :09:19.PIP implants. But anyone watching that would worry. People will be

:09:19. > :09:25.and rightly sold. It is difficult to get figures on all of this, but

:09:25. > :09:32.those who have seen patients with PIP implants think the rupture rate

:09:32. > :09:40.is higher than we would expect with normal implants. Do you think that

:09:40. > :09:44.cowboy plastic surgeons have used these? The majority have been put

:09:45. > :09:49.in by commercial cosmetic clinics. In those clinics, the surgeon has

:09:49. > :09:58.little say over what implant is used, very much told by what will

:09:58. > :10:04.be used by the clinic. What is highlight is how commonplace,

:10:04. > :10:12.almost trivialised, invasive surgery has become, advertised next

:10:12. > :10:16.to any other product. That is right, which is why the Association of

:10:16. > :10:26.Plastic Surgeons has called for a ban on this sort of advertising,

:10:26. > :10:27.

:10:27. > :10:34.putting it in the same bracket as tobacco and other banks. -- things.

:10:34. > :10:39.What is the advice to women? I have seen a large number of patients

:10:39. > :10:43.with this problem. One difficulty is getting information. A lot of

:10:43. > :10:48.doctors are not aware of these problems and a lot of private

:10:48. > :10:52.clinics have refused to talk to patients, some even charging

:10:53. > :10:58.patients for any sort of information. The main thing at the

:10:58. > :11:03.moment is that these ladies should not panic, this is not a life and

:11:03. > :11:07.death emergency and we had some time to consider what is going on

:11:07. > :11:11.and make the right decision. But ladies do need to be seen by a

:11:11. > :11:20.plastic surgeon and assessed and quite a few of them will also need

:11:20. > :11:27.some sort of scan to see whether the implant has ruptured. Thank you

:11:27. > :11:35.poor that information. Kevin Hancock, based in Liverpool.

:11:35. > :11:38.Some other news this evening. It is thought a terror suspect who fled

:11:38. > :11:42.Manchester for Pakistan has been killed by US forces. Aslam Awan was

:11:42. > :11:46.part of a group that trained in the Lake District and tried to lure

:11:46. > :11:49.muslims to Pakistan to fight jihad. US officials say he was killed by a

:11:49. > :11:52.drone missile attack on the country's border with Afghanistan.

:11:52. > :11:56.Liverpool City Council leaders want a club that hosted the British

:11:56. > :11:58.National Party's annual conference to have its licence revoked. There

:11:58. > :12:05.were protests outside the Cricketers Arms in Wavertree last

:12:05. > :12:09.October after the venue was hired out to the far right wing political

:12:09. > :12:12.party. The club's owners say they have done nothing wrong and they

:12:12. > :12:18.are being supported by a local BNP representative.

:12:18. > :12:24.Back to the top story and police have confirmed that they are

:12:24. > :12:34.investigating a sex dead at Stepping Hill hospital. -- sixth

:12:34. > :12:35.

:12:35. > :12:42.death. Yes, police have confirmed another person given saline has

:12:42. > :12:46.died. The man was 75 and died on Friday. Police are stressing that

:12:46. > :12:50.it is likely that the man, along with the Linda McDonagh, that we

:12:50. > :12:56.heard about earlier, and Bill Dickson will have died from natural

:12:56. > :12:59.causes. It cannot be said for certain, but tests are being

:12:59. > :13:04.carried out to establish the cause of death.

:13:04. > :13:07.Thank you. A prolific thief who stole charity

:13:07. > :13:13.collection boxes across Cheshire has been sentenced to eight months

:13:13. > :13:17.in jail. Bradley Higham even stole one Poppy Appeal tin on Remembrance

:13:17. > :13:21.Day itself. It was while the town of Frodsham was mourning its war

:13:21. > :13:31.dead. Today, a judge told him he had sunk extremely low and had

:13:31. > :13:36.

:13:36. > :13:41.little if any conscience at all. We have had clearly some problems

:13:42. > :13:47.there. We will try to get back to that shortly.

:13:47. > :13:57.Still to come... Penalty punch-up. The Bury players booked for this

:13:57. > :14:16.

:14:16. > :14:19.We apologise for the technical A man who was jailed in Thailand

:14:19. > :14:22.for smuggling in ecstasy tablets, has returned to Britain to serve

:14:22. > :14:25.the rest of his sentence. Michael Connell from Bury was 19 at the

:14:25. > :14:28.time of his arrest. He's served eight of his 20-year sentence in

:14:28. > :14:31.the notorious "Bangkok Hilton jail". He now must serve at least half of

:14:31. > :14:33.his remaining sentence before being eligible for parole. His father

:14:34. > :14:42.Derek says he's suffered enough. Bang Kwang Prison, all the Bangkok

:14:42. > :14:45.Hilton as it is more commonly known, has been home to Michael for many

:14:45. > :14:51.years. I knew what was going to happen to me. Anywhere in the world

:14:51. > :14:56.if you get caught importing drugs, you go to prison. His sentence was

:14:56. > :15:00.reduced, but he still has a 12 years left to serve. He will now

:15:00. > :15:04.have to spend at least six years in a British prison before being

:15:04. > :15:08.eligible for parole. His father Derek says he has suffered the

:15:08. > :15:15.consequences of his crime and has learnt his lesson. Michael

:15:15. > :15:20.committed a crime, he admitted he committed a crime, he has never

:15:20. > :15:27.denied it. He said he was stupid, you wished he had never done it. He

:15:27. > :15:32.has done years now so he has done long enough. Derek is writing to

:15:32. > :15:35.the Ministry of Justice asking them to look at Michael's case.

:15:35. > :15:45.And you can see more on that on tonight's Inside Out North West, on

:15:45. > :15:48.

:15:48. > :15:55.Rigid is here for the sport. The Manchester club's one against

:15:55. > :15:59.London, but Mr Balotelli has grabbed all the headlines.

:15:59. > :16:03.Even though it City beat Spurs and United got the better of Arsenal,

:16:03. > :16:08.everyone is talking about Mario Balotelli and that challenge. Let's

:16:09. > :16:13.have a look at it. The striker is involved in a clash. He Clatter it

:16:13. > :16:20.-- he catches the midfielder as he spins around. But did he mean this?

:16:20. > :16:23.Some observers say you cannot tell, although the Spurs manager Harry

:16:23. > :16:27.Redknapp has called on the FA to take action.

:16:27. > :16:32.Will they? I don't know. We were hoping for an

:16:32. > :16:37.update today, but that has not come. They will only take action if the

:16:37. > :16:40.referee says he did not see it. We are still waiting for the details

:16:40. > :16:44.of his report, and indeed whether there is reference to a clash

:16:44. > :16:47.involving another player. Either way, city of three points clear of

:16:48. > :16:49.United he kept up the pressure. United he kept up the pressure.

:16:49. > :16:57.It was an evening when one of the league's meanest backlines became

:16:57. > :16:59.rather generous. Shocking defending by Liverpool. Kenny Dalglish has

:16:59. > :17:09.warned he'll get rid of some Liverpool players unless they

:17:09. > :17:19.

:17:19. > :17:22.improve their attitude. We have got to look at ourselves. But don't

:17:22. > :17:25.forget Bolton. Out of the bottom three thanks to a terrific team

:17:25. > :17:27.effort. Two scrappy goals saw Everton and Blackburn share the

:17:27. > :17:30.points at Goodison Park. The intervention of David Goodwillie's

:17:30. > :17:33.chest not enough to keep Rovers out of the bottom three.

:17:33. > :17:35.And despite a dazzling goal from Hugo Rodallega Wigan now sit three

:17:35. > :17:38.points adrift at the bottom. In the Championship, two late goals

:17:38. > :17:41.put Blackpool one place and one point outside the play-offs. Steven

:17:41. > :17:44.Schumacher scored twice as Bury beat Yeovil. But the main talking

:17:44. > :17:47.point was his row with teammate Giles Coke over who should take

:17:47. > :17:51.this penalty. It lasted more than a minute. Both were booked for

:17:51. > :17:55.fighting. But Schumacher won out in the end. He scored and today Coke

:17:55. > :17:58.apologised. Someone else with a fight on his

:17:58. > :18:02.hands is Preston's new manager Graham Westley. High fives on the

:18:02. > :18:05.way to the dugout but his first game ended in a 2-0 defeat.

:18:05. > :18:08.Dagenham keeper Chris Lewington's probably still got his head under

:18:09. > :18:14.the pillow after this howler at Crewe. Although like all keepers he

:18:14. > :18:24.blames the pitch. That was one of four Alex goals as they climbed

:18:24. > :18:30.

:18:30. > :18:33.And you can see more on Crewe in tonight's Late Kick Off when you

:18:33. > :18:36.can also hear a very candid interview with Preston's chairman,

:18:36. > :18:39.Peter Ridsdale. He says PNE's high- earning players will have to go as

:18:39. > :18:42.the club tries to balance its books. The owner Trevor Hemmings is no

:18:42. > :18:46.longer prepared to subsidise PNE to the tune of 750,000 a month. Don't

:18:46. > :18:52.miss that outspoken interview on Late Kick Off on BBC 1 at 11:05pm

:18:52. > :18:56.tonight. It is the presenter of that?

:18:56. > :18:59.I don't know, but some guy! Accrington Stanley boss John

:18:59. > :19:02.Coleman has agreed personal terms to become the new manager at

:19:02. > :19:05.Rochdale. Coleman, who's been at the Crown Ground for thirteen

:19:05. > :19:15.seasons, leaves Accrington in tenth place for a team fighting to avoid

:19:15. > :19:23.

:19:23. > :19:28.relegation. The two clubs are The British pole vault record was

:19:28. > :19:36.splashed over the weekend by this woman. Polly put in a height of

:19:36. > :19:39.four metres 87 in France. Only one ever woman has ever gone higher

:19:39. > :19:41.indoors. The number of different skills

:19:41. > :19:46.involved in doing an activity like that.

:19:46. > :19:50.Just carrying it expand it is incredible.

:19:50. > :20:00.Thank you very much. Back to the story week started to

:20:00. > :20:06.

:20:06. > :20:09.Time after time, caught on CCTV, Bradley Higham stole money destined

:20:09. > :20:13.for the needy. Money donated by the public, raised by hardworking

:20:13. > :20:20.volunteers and through fundraising events. Poppy appeal tins for the

:20:20. > :20:26.British Legion were a particular target. Not only do our volunteers

:20:26. > :20:29.put a lot of effort into May: Things happen in the short period

:20:29. > :20:34.it happens every year, but ultimately those who would have

:20:34. > :20:36.benefited from the generous nature of the public will now not do so

:20:36. > :20:39.because of the actions of one person.

:20:39. > :20:42.Today was the fifth time Higham appeared in court to be sentenced

:20:42. > :20:45.for stealing charity boxes. He began his latest stealing spree on

:20:45. > :20:51.6th November, taking a hospice collection box from a fish and chip

:20:51. > :20:52.collection box from a fish and chip shop in Warrington. The next day he

:20:52. > :20:52.shop in Warrington. The next day he shop in Warrington. The next day he

:20:52. > :20:54.shop in Warrington. The next day he shop in Warrington. The next day he

:20:54. > :20:57.stole a poppy tin from a spar shop in Grappenhall. On the 8th, he

:20:57. > :21:02.stole from a Travelodge in Chester. And on the 11th of November -

:21:02. > :21:06.Armistice Day itself - he stole a poppy tin from a bank in Frodsham.

:21:06. > :21:10.The judge said at a time the population was thinking about those

:21:10. > :21:15.who had gone before it, you would stealing money donated by the

:21:15. > :21:23.public -- public. You have sunk below, it shows you have little if

:21:23. > :21:28.no conscience at all. His crimes were despicable. It shows complete

:21:28. > :21:36.disrespect to people out in war zones at the moment and previously,

:21:36. > :21:39.and also those who have given their lives defending our country.

:21:39. > :21:41.The court has now granted police powers to enforce an anti-social

:21:41. > :21:44.behaviour order, banning Higham from Frodsham and Helsby when he's

:21:44. > :21:47.released from jail. Police say they can only hope that when Higham does

:21:47. > :21:50.leave prison, he won't go back to what the judge called his

:21:50. > :21:53.despicable ways. It seems there's truth in the old

:21:53. > :21:56.saying all that glitters isn't gold. How do we know? Well proof lies in

:21:56. > :21:59.the gorilla house at Blackpool Zoo. Staff there have employed a novel

:21:59. > :22:01.approach to working out why one of its female primates isn't getting

:22:01. > :22:04.pregnant. And the technique is producing some sparkling results.

:22:04. > :22:14.Peter Marshall explains. Njema is a girl gorilla, who should

:22:14. > :22:16.

:22:16. > :22:19.be getting pregnant. They are very endangered animals in the wild soap

:22:19. > :22:21.trying to breed them is very important. However, despite being

:22:22. > :22:24.on very friendly terms with a silverback, there's no sign of

:22:25. > :22:28.impending offspring. To find out why they need to test her droppings

:22:28. > :22:31.for clues. But how do you spot and separate her droppings from all the

:22:31. > :22:40.other primate poo? You need something to make a movement stand

:22:40. > :22:45.out from the crowd. First, they tried food colouring

:22:45. > :22:48.but it did not show up. Then they tried sweetcorn, but the guerrillas

:22:49. > :22:52.found it second time around if you know what I mean. Then came the

:22:52. > :22:54.idea of glitter. There's a nursery on site, with a

:22:55. > :23:01.steady supply of child-friendly glitter, add that to a daily dose

:23:01. > :23:05.of yoghurt and Bob's your uncle. Droppings that dazzle. They get

:23:05. > :23:09.beat litter around their legs which is quite amusing, but dated to it

:23:09. > :23:19.quite easily, they have not been many issues. Easy, unless the

:23:19. > :23:21.

:23:21. > :23:26.cameras are there. It's OK. eventually - success. Good girl.

:23:26. > :23:30.You want something natural that is not going to cause any issues to

:23:31. > :23:33.the animal. The worst thing to do what -- would be to give them

:23:33. > :23:36.something that would harm them potentially.

:23:36. > :23:39.They can now send the right samples for laboratory tests without the

:23:39. > :23:42.stress of separating Njema from the rest of her band or whoop. It'll

:23:42. > :23:45.reveal any hormonal problems - which can then be treated - and the

:23:45. > :23:52.patter of little gorilla pads - may not be far away.

:23:52. > :23:58.Let's hope it is a happy ending! One of the most important

:23:58. > :24:08.collections of Turner watercolours has gone on displays. The Alps --

:24:08. > :24:18.

:24:18. > :24:24.the expedition the event is being William Turner was regarded as a

:24:24. > :24:29.maverick in his day. The elevated landscape art rivalled historic

:24:29. > :24:33.painting. He moved watercolour away from the washed-out and almost

:24:33. > :24:39.insipid to the vibrant and colourful art form we know today.

:24:39. > :24:47.The word genius gets over-used, but turning really was someone who took

:24:47. > :24:53.the media to heights that no one else or since has ever taken it.

:24:53. > :24:56.This collection is said to be the most important private holding of

:24:56. > :25:00.British 18th and nineteenth-century watercolours. We are very much in

:25:00. > :25:04.his debt, the fact that the collection has not been sold off or

:25:04. > :25:09.separated, and for the beauty and condition of the collection. He

:25:10. > :25:15.rarely showed it and he's up -- he took great care of it. Today the

:25:15. > :25:23.colours are as true as the day they were painted. These locals, who

:25:23. > :25:28.were there for the exhibition's opening day, attended today. It is

:25:28. > :25:33.just wonderful to be here and see him in all his glory, his glorious

:25:33. > :25:39.watercolours. It is fantastic for our local gallery to bring us

:25:39. > :25:45.together. The collection, which includes work from many of Turner's

:25:45. > :25:54.contemporaries, is on show until 14th April.

:25:54. > :25:58.I wonder if they have any of those There is a lot of blue and white on

:25:58. > :26:02.this chart am afraid. There could be snow in the forecast tonight. It

:26:02. > :26:06.will be very cold before midnight, and there will be snow on the

:26:06. > :26:10.highest peaks. With that in mind, the Met Office have issued a

:26:10. > :26:15.warning that there will be snow and it could cause problems tomorrow

:26:15. > :26:20.morning. It is definitely a night of two Haase. The first part is

:26:20. > :26:26.clear before midnight and that is when temperatures will be as low

:26:26. > :26:30.as-two. The second half sees more cloud as well as this band of rain.

:26:30. > :26:36.There could be ice on untreated surfaces for a while, but the

:26:36. > :26:39.biggest problem will be as it moves in and bumps into the cold air. It

:26:39. > :26:44.will form sleet and snow. They could be problems for drivers in

:26:44. > :26:49.the morning, any writs over the tops of the Pennines and such

:26:49. > :26:54.places could see snow on the ground. Temperatures rise in the early

:26:54. > :26:58.hours of the morning, but that snow warnings stays in place during the

:26:59. > :27:04.rush-hour. But wherever you are, there is a lot of rain first thing.

:27:04. > :27:09.That does not want to go anywhere. It is a slow-moving weather front

:27:09. > :27:15.bumping up against the Pennines. After lunch, the back edge cups

:27:15. > :27:18.into the Isle of Man. But you can see another area of rain is waiting

:27:18. > :27:23.for Tuesday night. Another one on Wednesday and with that in mind,

:27:23. > :27:27.the Met Office are warning they could be localised flooding in some

:27:27. > :27:30.places. Greater Manchester could see a lot of rain. But temperatures

:27:30. > :27:38.rise nicely with highs over nine or 10 degrees.
