:00:15. > :00:18.Good evening. Welcome to North West Tonight. Our top story: Shut this
:00:18. > :00:28.factory down. An MP's demand for action after yet another fire at
:00:28. > :00:32.the Sonae plant in Merseyside. fed up spam fed up of this. It is
:00:32. > :00:34.about time this factory closed. There have been more than 20
:00:34. > :00:38.serious incidents at the plant over the last 10 years.
:00:38. > :00:42.Also tonight: Yes to an elected mayor for Salford - but only 18% of
:00:42. > :00:48.people turn out to vote. Proud of a city tradition. The
:00:48. > :00:52.history behind Preston Guild. Rival reds on racism. Cole and
:00:52. > :00:55.Barnes talk to us about the Suarez affair.
:00:55. > :01:05.And who's the woman in the window? The mystery behind the demolition
:01:05. > :01:16.
:01:16. > :01:26.of this Cumbrian house. And we will be alive to tell you more about the
:01:26. > :01:27.
:01:27. > :01:33.plans are for Preston Guild 2012. What I year Preston has planned.
:01:33. > :01:43.Join me later to it you all about the history and exactly what the
:01:43. > :01:45.
:01:45. > :01:48.year has in store -- join me later to hear about.
:01:48. > :01:54.A Merseyside MP has renewed his call for a controversial factory to
:01:54. > :01:57.be shut down after another fire there. More than 20 firefighters
:01:57. > :02:03.tackled a blaze at the Sonae chip board factory in Kirkby last night.
:02:03. > :02:06.No-one was hurt in this latest fire. There have been more 20 serious
:02:06. > :02:09.incidents of fire or industrial accidents at the plant over the
:02:09. > :02:13.past decade. Three people have died, and Sonae have ben taken to court
:02:13. > :02:16.on four occasions. It says staff safety is paramount.
:02:16. > :02:19.The fire brigade were called to Sonae after reports of explosions
:02:19. > :02:23.in a sawdust silo. Sonae say the blasts were part of its safety
:02:23. > :02:26.system releasing pressure. It took firefighters five hours to get the
:02:26. > :02:30.fire under control. The local MP says the council should take away
:02:30. > :02:35.the factory's licence and close it down. They councillors here are as
:02:35. > :02:40.fed up as the neighbours and resident. I am fed up of it. It is
:02:40. > :02:47.about time we said this was the end. Brenda and John Hulme live opposite
:02:47. > :02:52.Sonae. They also think it's time it shut. There are all kinds of
:02:52. > :02:56.chemicals coming out of it. It has been built so close to houses. This
:02:56. > :03:01.has been banned in other countries. It should never have been built
:03:01. > :03:04.here. It's the latest in a series of incidents here. In 2000, two
:03:04. > :03:08.employees were injured. In 2002, one worker was hurt in an explosion
:03:08. > :03:10.and another was hit by a fork lift truck. In December 2010, two men
:03:10. > :03:17.working as sub-contractors died when they were dragged into
:03:17. > :03:26.machinery. A huge fire last June burnt for days. Then in August a
:03:26. > :03:29.contractor helping with demolition after that fire was killed on site.
:03:29. > :03:34.The Health and Safety Executive says they will investigate the
:03:34. > :03:38.latest incident. But a spokesman could not say when they were due to
:03:38. > :03:44.publish the report into the fire last summer here or into the three
:03:44. > :03:52.deaths. As for the overall picture, the Health and Safety Executive
:03:52. > :03:54.says the investigate incident and not companies. In a statement,
:03:54. > :03:57.Knowsley Council said it is reviewing Sonae's environmental
:03:57. > :04:03.permit and looking at all options available. Tonight, the fire
:04:03. > :04:10.service said its up to to Sonae to manage what are risky operations.
:04:10. > :04:15.The processes that operate here, there is an inherent risk of these
:04:15. > :04:19.sort of incident. Clearly this is a matter for the company to manage
:04:19. > :04:22.themselves. In a statement, Sonae said the safety of its staff
:04:22. > :04:29.remains paramount to its operation. It's now trying to find out why the
:04:30. > :04:34.fire broke out. Salford has become the first city
:04:34. > :04:37.in the North West to vote to have an elected mayor. The election will
:04:37. > :04:40.take place in May for a more powerful leader of the council
:04:40. > :04:43.directly selected by voters. A referendum was held in Salford
:04:43. > :04:46.yesterday and there was a clear win for the yes campaign. But fewer
:04:46. > :04:52.than one in five people bothered to vote. Our Political Editor was at
:04:52. > :04:55.the count. If the battle was to interest
:04:55. > :05:05.voters, it was lost among empty polling stations. Turnout was just
:05:05. > :05:06.
:05:07. > :05:09.18%. The number of votes cast in favour of yes was 17,000. That was
:05:10. > :05:19.56% of the vote. Victory for an alliance of English Democrats and
:05:20. > :05:20.
:05:20. > :05:26.community activists. We have the yes vote. Now we want to get people
:05:26. > :05:31.more engaged and directly elect a mayor who can push Salford forward
:05:31. > :05:36.for the better. So now voters will select an individual who they want
:05:36. > :05:40.to be mayor. The existing system of council leader will soon end.
:05:40. > :05:44.have to accept that is the result. I think people will feel that they
:05:44. > :05:49.want to have more of a say in who is leading the council and that is
:05:49. > :05:55.fine. What I would be concerned about is if they were voting on the
:05:55. > :05:59.basis of a rather false perspective of having the council tax. You are
:05:59. > :06:05.backtracking. This has stirred up passion on the council but what
:06:05. > :06:09.about on the streets? It was very confusing, but it has happened so
:06:09. > :06:18.we will have to see what we get. voted yes because we need someone
:06:18. > :06:22.on our side. I am not bothered. Even so, things have changed here
:06:22. > :06:26.and in May voters will elect the very first Mayor of Salford.
:06:26. > :06:31.Opponents will point out this was a very low turnout. What are the
:06:31. > :06:40.wider implications of this results? Those critics have a point because
:06:40. > :06:46.if you boil the figures down, only 10% of what voters in Salford last
:06:46. > :06:51.to switch to a mayor. The other 90% Eva said no or did not halt. But
:06:51. > :06:56.when it is a win. There was a clear win for the yes campaign and
:06:56. > :06:59.everyone has to move on from there. We're in a position where Liverpool
:06:59. > :07:04.and Manchester are also heading in the direction of a mayor. In
:07:04. > :07:08.Liverpool, the city council is saying they no longer believe there
:07:08. > :07:12.needs to be a referendum. They think they can have a vote within
:07:12. > :07:16.the council. I suspect the leader there might be able to point to
:07:16. > :07:20.this referendum and say when people are given a choice they're not
:07:20. > :07:24.interested so it is fine for us to make that decision. In Manchester,
:07:24. > :07:34.they are against having one, but I wonder if the pressure of Liverpool
:07:34. > :07:43.
:07:43. > :07:46.and Salford might make them think again for.
:07:46. > :07:49.A man who collected information on how to make bombs and lethal
:07:49. > :07:52.poisons has been sent to prison for breaking an anti-terrorism law. The
:07:52. > :07:57.documents were stored on a computer memory stick which was handed to
:07:57. > :08:00.the police by mistake after a burglary in Bolton. Manchester
:08:00. > :08:03.Crown Court heard there was no evidence that Asim Kausar had
:08:03. > :08:13.promoted or been involved in violence. But the judge told him
:08:13. > :08:14.
:08:14. > :08:18.the material was no less dangerous. Also found that a home was a letter
:08:18. > :08:23.stating that he wanted it to fight to jihad for Allah. The trouble
:08:23. > :08:30.started when there was a break-in at the family home. The police were
:08:30. > :08:36.given a memory stick in the belief that it contained CCTV images
:08:36. > :08:42.regarding who was responsible. But it included information on how to
:08:42. > :08:51.create an improvised explosive device. The police heard that he
:08:51. > :09:00.stalked the device out of curiosity. It was claimed that there was no
:09:00. > :09:10.link to terrorists or attempts to pass on the information. However,
:09:10. > :09:13.
:09:13. > :09:18.he was sentenced to two years in prison. My client wanted to ask if
:09:18. > :09:22.someone who was not a Muslim would get such a lengthy statement.
:09:22. > :09:28.was just a normal lad. He used to play cricket for. He was a decent
:09:28. > :09:38.young man. I have known him since he moved here 14 years ago.
:09:38. > :09:41.
:09:41. > :09:44.Relatives declined to speak after the case.
:09:44. > :09:47.Police in Kendal have launched a murder inquiry after a woman -
:09:47. > :09:51.badly burned in a fire last night - died in hospital. Stacey Mackie,
:09:51. > :09:57.who was 35, lived in a flat at Crag View. The building is a home for
:09:57. > :10:03.vulnerable adults. A man is being questioned.
:10:03. > :10:06.A man has been stabbed to death in the street in Wirral. Police were
:10:06. > :10:09.called to Teehey Lane in Higher Bebington shortly after 3pm this
:10:09. > :10:12.afternoon. There are reports that the incident happened after a road
:10:12. > :10:14.accident but this hasn't been confirmed. A 42 year old man has
:10:14. > :10:17.been arrested on suspicion of murder.
:10:17. > :10:20.Workers at BAE Systems in Lancashire could go on strike -
:10:20. > :10:23.over plans to cut jobs. More than 3,000 members of the staff at
:10:23. > :10:25.Warton and Samlesbury, near Preston, have voted for a ballot for strike
:10:25. > :10:34.action. The company is currently looking at making compulsory
:10:34. > :10:39.redundancies after 1,300 job losses were announced last year.
:10:39. > :10:45.Now we have the sport. There is a big game tomorrow. Manchester
:10:45. > :10:49.United and Liverpool. Were hoping that there is no obvious and
:10:49. > :10:54.everyone behaves themselves. This is one of those games where
:10:54. > :10:58.there is as much attention on the pitch as of the pitch. It is the
:10:58. > :11:05.first time they are playing each other after the Lewis worriers
:11:05. > :11:08.affair. Merseyside Police are expecting to have extra officers
:11:08. > :11:11.and have warned they will not tolerate unacceptable words or
:11:11. > :11:17.behaviour. Both managers have appealed for
:11:17. > :11:19.calm from fans keen that Sir Alex Ferguson has written to the 5,000
:11:19. > :11:29.fans for a going and has been speaking to players.
:11:29. > :11:32.
:11:32. > :11:38.He has demanded from all of them The fans, both sets of fans have to
:11:38. > :11:40.make sure that we are talking about the game, and nothing else. Well,
:11:40. > :11:44.the Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish hasn't spoken to the
:11:44. > :11:47.cameras but he has issued a statement saying everybody has a
:11:48. > :11:53.responsibility to hold up the name of their respective clubs. Whatever
:11:53. > :11:56.the grievances keep it to yourself, and let's get on with the game.
:11:56. > :11:59.Well, there has been speculation in the run up to the match that Wayne
:11:59. > :12:02.Rooney could miss out through injury. But we have had a hint from
:12:03. > :12:06.a man who should know that Rooney's name is likely to be on that team
:12:06. > :12:10.sheet. Former United goal machine Ashley Cole has been chatting to
:12:10. > :12:13.Richard, along with former Liverpool great John Barnes. And
:12:13. > :12:18.Richard started by asking John about the tension in the build up
:12:18. > :12:22.to the game. I expect the fans and demand fans behave themselves.
:12:22. > :12:27.Clubs don't have much control over them, but I expect the most
:12:27. > :12:32.important thing from a footballing perspective, nod not media, not fan,
:12:32. > :12:36.from the club's perspective is for both to concentrate on trying to
:12:36. > :12:39.win the match. Has it affected the relationship between the club?
:12:39. > :12:43.Previous years we have talked about what a great game it will be. Now
:12:43. > :12:48.we are talking about other elements of football, which is disappointing.
:12:48. > :12:54.We know that Evra is going to get booed. People don't gettagery and
:12:54. > :12:59.surprised, I know they are booing Evra, as long as it is not racist.
:12:59. > :13:05.Will he be nervous. I think he will be going into the game. It is
:13:05. > :13:09.another big game. I think he will puff his che out more. How much of
:13:09. > :13:13.a boost do you think Liverpool will have got from getting to the League
:13:13. > :13:15.Cup Final? I hope for the fact they are now in the final. They beat
:13:15. > :13:19.Manchester City, for them not dip and say we have the consolation of
:13:19. > :13:23.being in the final, but it brings pressure in itself playing against
:13:23. > :13:27.Manchester United. I know how much the manager looks forward. He loves
:13:27. > :13:32.playing at Anfield and he loves it more when he gets a positive result.
:13:32. > :13:37.Did you enjoy playing there. loved playing at Anfield. I had a
:13:37. > :13:41.good goalscoring record there. did you get out of the intensity of
:13:41. > :13:46.the Manchester United-Liverpool match, some people have suggested
:13:46. > :13:50.that they are poisonous, did you foal that. I, because of my
:13:50. > :13:56.character bg, I played no more importance to the game than any
:13:56. > :14:00.other. I wanted it to be a good game. I never really liked the big
:14:00. > :14:06.derby matches. Rooney might be missing, Nani will be missing, how
:14:06. > :14:10.much of a weakness will there be in terms of the attacking threat of
:14:10. > :14:16.yulted? Wayne, he could be a bit of speculation he might not be fit. I
:14:16. > :14:25.think you speak to Wayne, he loves going. You are giving the team
:14:25. > :14:31.away! I am not. Unless you seen the team sheet and he is not on, we are
:14:31. > :14:35.overdue a good result. When he you talk about a good result. 1-0 away
:14:35. > :14:40.is not difficult. I think that would be a good result for
:14:40. > :14:45.Manchester United. 1-0 to Liverpool. Liverpool's other rivals eEverton
:14:45. > :14:51.are an hour away from tonight's FA Cup tie against fullham ham. The
:14:51. > :14:55.club has been protests demanding that the chairman find a new owner.
:14:55. > :14:58.David Moyes says better performance on the pitch should ease the fans'
:14:58. > :15:02.frustration. We have not played well enough, so, it is nothing to
:15:02. > :15:06.do with the board of director, it is not do with the chairman, it is
:15:06. > :15:11.do with me and the team. We have to play better on the pitch. The team
:15:11. > :15:17.plays better, it lifts all the mood. And we need to perform better of.
:15:17. > :15:23.We need to win more often. If we do, that changes everything. Well, you
:15:23. > :15:28.can hear full commentary on that tie on BBC Radio Merseyside. Kick
:15:28. > :15:33.off 8.00. Radio Merseyside and BBC Manchester will have full
:15:33. > :15:38.commentary on the match tomorrow. And the FA Cup action continues at
:15:38. > :15:41.three when radio Manchester have commentary on Usain Bolt versus
:15:41. > :15:44.Swansea. We must say congratulations to Liam Broady from
:15:44. > :15:52.Spock port -- Stockport. He and his doubled partner Joshua Ward-Hibbert
:15:52. > :15:55.have won the boys doubled final beating their opponents, 4-3, 6-2.
:15:55. > :16:02.Last year Liam reached the boys final at Wimbledon. Congratulations
:16:02. > :16:11.are in order for Amir Khan, he is getting engaged on Sunday. So we
:16:11. > :16:15.wish him and his fiancee well. I bet Andy Murray is jealous. Time to
:16:15. > :16:20.turn our thoughts to the year the proud city of Preston is planning.
:16:20. > :16:24.Once every 20 years, the famous Preston Guild takes place. The
:16:24. > :16:28.Guild 2012 looks set to be a cracker. It culminates in a city
:16:28. > :16:32.festival in the first week of September, but before that there
:16:32. > :16:36.will be loads of events happening in the run. Pete ever is in the
:16:36. > :16:45.city now at the Harris Museum and Art Gallery. There is quite a bit
:16:45. > :16:51.of history involved. It can trace its history back to 11 79 when the
:16:51. > :16:55.King Henry II allowed the good folk of Preston to create a Guild
:16:55. > :17:01.mershand. It meant they could control and promote all the trades
:17:01. > :17:06.in Preston. And let the place grow and grow. By 1542 it was being held
:17:06. > :17:10.every 20 years so new generations of tradesmen could brought into the
:17:10. > :17:20.Guild. Now it's a celebration of the people, and it gives all those
:17:20. > :17:25.
:17:25. > :17:28.that take part memorys that can last a lifetime. 600 --,000 school-
:17:28. > :17:33.children come to celebrate Preston Guild. It's a Guild that keeps
:17:33. > :17:36.going and going. This the celebration in 1952. The last war
:17:36. > :17:40.brought a halt to the celebrations but this year they are making up
:17:40. > :17:46.for lost time. In the modern era is it is very much a people's Guild.
:17:46. > :17:50.But when it began, and the first Guild merchant was created it
:17:50. > :17:54.wasn't about the masses, more about trading monopoly. They from ones
:17:54. > :17:58.that are able to trade in Preston and benefit. No-one else, no
:17:58. > :18:04.competition, just those men on the Guild roll. This is the earliest
:18:04. > :18:09.survivoring Guild roll. Drawn up in 1397. 366 names, traders who helped
:18:09. > :18:14.Preston grow and prosper. We have 26 of these Guild rolls going right
:18:14. > :18:20.back in to the 1300s, so a real fascinating snapshot of everything
:18:20. > :18:25.that is going on in Preston at each of the points in time. As time
:18:25. > :18:29.progressed it became less about trading monopoly, more about civic
:18:29. > :18:35.pride. Staged every 20 years. The Harris Museum and Art Gallery is
:18:35. > :18:39.full of items relating to the historic Guild. There is some very
:18:39. > :18:43.quirky objects, I like. One of the things I love which is going into
:18:43. > :18:48.our new gallery is this Money Box from 1902. It is wonderful because
:18:49. > :18:54.it is in the form of a safe and it tells you Preston Guild, September
:18:54. > :18:58.1902 and it is encouraging people to save, their pennies so they can
:18:58. > :19:03.enjoy the entertainments. There is the first printed account of a
:19:03. > :19:07.Guild celebration from 1762. An illustration of the Guild trades
:19:08. > :19:12.possession from 1842. The Guild now is a popular event which embraces
:19:12. > :19:17.all people in Preston. Originally it was about the elite of Preston,
:19:17. > :19:20.you know, about their special events but it became in the 19th
:19:20. > :19:24.century, an event for everyone. country's other Guilds were
:19:24. > :19:29.established back in 1835. But Preston loved and continued the
:19:29. > :19:37.tradition. It is now very much a pageant for the people. At this
:19:37. > :19:41.cafe on an estate Guild celebrations are a talking point..
:19:41. > :19:47.They have sweets and balloons with the company logo. We go to the
:19:47. > :19:52.front trying to collect as much sweets, memorabilia as we could.
:19:52. > :19:56.is family days, it is just brilliant. I can remember my dad
:19:56. > :20:03.going down the river on a raft, he was an ambulance driver. There they
:20:03. > :20:08.are, they are doing the Hawaii 50 bit down the river. This year, the
:20:08. > :20:11.many Guild events will culminate in a city festival from August 31st to
:20:11. > :20:20.September 9th. When proud Preston will celebrate its past, present
:20:20. > :20:24.and future. Let us talk to the Guild festival director sell la
:20:24. > :20:29.Hall. Can you sum up your excitement? It has already started.
:20:29. > :20:32.The year has begun. It is Chinese New Year today but we are rolling
:20:32. > :20:37.towards Guild week with events every day and week and month of the
:20:37. > :20:41.year. Give us a flavour of the events we can expect? I am going to
:20:41. > :20:46.San/March 8th look out. There will be special special in the skies.
:20:46. > :20:51.Easter is a special time, we have our traditional egg rolls but we
:20:51. > :20:55.are making a new version of the passion, the Preston passion.
:20:55. > :20:59.BBC is involved in that Very much. It is looking for people to take
:20:59. > :21:03.part. It will be a big event. need 1500 people to join in the
:21:03. > :21:07.Preston passion. We need hundreds more to join in the four huge
:21:07. > :21:11.processions, if you want to sing, if you want to dance be part of the
:21:11. > :21:14.big dance. We are looking for all people not just to view but to do
:21:15. > :21:19.things as part of the Preston Guild. What ant the economic situation?
:21:19. > :21:24.Money is very tight, has it made life difficult or should you have
:21:24. > :21:28.hold on we will wait for another 20 years and hold it then? We have
:21:28. > :21:32.been careful. Saving towards the Guild. We have to have this party.
:21:32. > :21:37.We have been doing it since 11 906789 we know how to make a little
:21:37. > :21:41.go a long way. What was wha does it bring or give to the town, briefly?
:21:41. > :21:46.The city sorry. It is the city of Preston. A huge sense of plied in
:21:46. > :21:49.what we have. A unique heritage. It is a heritage we are building on.
:21:49. > :21:53.We are rooking forward to the future and welcoming everyone in to
:21:54. > :21:57.sair that with us. Thank you. We will talk to you later on. Every
:21:57. > :22:00.day of this year, BBC Radio Lancashire is talking to proud
:22:00. > :22:10.press tonians about what the Guild and what Preston means to them.
:22:10. > :22:11.
:22:11. > :22:14.Have a look at this. The Guild I remember best is the 1952 Guild. I
:22:15. > :22:18.remember thinking, that 20 years from now I will be 306789 probably
:22:18. > :22:27.be married. Probably have children. And it was a mind-boggling
:22:27. > :22:30.experience that, and I still get goosebumps when I think about it.
:22:30. > :22:34.am very proud of Preston. You should never be embarrassed about
:22:34. > :22:39.the place where you are born. I try and pension Preston every single
:22:39. > :22:45.opportunity I can on the telly, the radio, where ever it is, in all
:22:45. > :22:50.sorts of articles. I think people know I am a Preston North End fan.
:22:50. > :22:55.We moved to Preston in 1992. Our children were young and they talk
:22:55. > :22:59.part in all sorts of things. It was a great introduction to Preston.
:22:59. > :23:03.This will be my dad's third Guild. He is adamant it is a special
:23:04. > :23:13.occasion. He wants me to get involved. I think I might. Might
:23:13. > :23:20.just do that. The proud press tonians feature going out every day
:23:20. > :23:23.on Radio Lancashire at 7.59am, 11.50am and 5.50pm. For all the
:23:23. > :23:33.information you would ever need about Preston Guild, you can check
:23:33. > :23:34.
:23:34. > :23:38.out the website. From here, it is back to studio. Quickly before the
:23:38. > :23:43.weather we are off to the Lake District for a spooky tale. You
:23:43. > :23:48.wouldn't think a team of demolition workers were the type to believe in
:23:48. > :23:52.ghost but a group of workers in Cumbria were are not so sure. When
:23:52. > :23:58.they knocking down a boarding house when they noticed something strange
:23:58. > :24:04.in a win doe. Was it a trick of the light or something more sinister?
:24:04. > :24:10.As a rule demolition workers aren't noted for by nervy or easily scared.
:24:10. > :24:14.But the discovery a team made on this site left them feeling spooked.
:24:14. > :24:19.The first thing is it makes the hairs stand up on your neck. Robert
:24:19. > :24:23.took this photograph just before the team flattened this former
:24:23. > :24:28.boarding house. I take photographs of buildings before we demolish
:24:28. > :24:33.them. Just a routine picture. did you realise it wasn't just
:24:33. > :24:37.routine? When I got home and I was showing my wife and she says, I can
:24:37. > :24:41.see something there, you know. is it a ghostly figure, or a trick
:24:41. > :24:44.of the light? One man who lived here when it was a boarding house
:24:44. > :24:49.believes it could be the image of his late mother. The proverbial
:24:49. > :24:54.hairs on the back of my neck came up. When I looked at it, I could
:24:54. > :24:58.see there was a figure but what made it larger, I could see the
:24:58. > :25:04.necklace and the earrings of which I still have, which were my
:25:04. > :25:08.mother's, and that person or apparition is wearing those.
:25:08. > :25:14.can judge for yourself on that one. It is possible it is one of your
:25:14. > :25:20.workmen still in the building. Nobody was inside that building.
:25:20. > :25:23.you believe in ghosts? I do now. I might not have done before but I do
:25:23. > :25:27.now. So spooky apparition or a smudge on a piece of glass.
:25:27. > :25:31.Whatever the case, the fact is this window frame is now all that is
:25:31. > :25:34.left of the original building. Sadly it will go the way of the
:25:34. > :25:43.rest of the building. So the mystery of the face in the window
:25:43. > :25:47.is one that may never be entirely solved. Don't have nightmare, will
:25:47. > :25:51.you. The weather is enough of a nightmare. I got hailed on today.
:25:51. > :25:54.Many people did. There has been snow in the forecast. The showers
:25:54. > :25:57.have been piling in as we went through the day. We have a warning
:25:57. > :26:02.of ice through the night tonight. That is because the ground is so
:26:02. > :26:05.saturated, and your temperatures, well you are in for a shock, ice
:26:05. > :26:11.well you are in for a shock, ice will be a problem just about
:26:11. > :26:18.anywhere. Clear skies ABC l luetly everywhere. We are talking about
:26:18. > :26:23.minus two minus three and maybe minus four in rural area, add to
:26:23. > :26:28.that, some freezing fog and mist tomorrow. And this is very much a
:26:28. > :26:32.wintry start to the day. Away from the freezing fog what you will find
:26:32. > :26:36.is there will be a lot of wirpbtd sunshine. It is winter sunshine. It
:26:36. > :26:40.is fairly weak stuff but looks like it will be available for all of us,
:26:40. > :26:44.that is a pretty looking winter's day. If you hang on to the mist and
:26:44. > :26:49.fog where you are, your temperatures will be hampered, zero
:26:49. > :26:55.to plus 2 but if you get the sunshine, they are not that much
:26:55. > :26:57.better. Four and five degrees ch, but it is worth having four and
:26:57. > :27:01.five. For Saturday night it is another very cold one. All over
:27:01. > :27:05.again. Similar story. You will be looking at temperatures easily
:27:05. > :27:08.minus one to 3-3 over again. For Sunday there is some debate about
:27:08. > :27:12.Sunday. You can see we have this cold air coming towards us, we have
:27:12. > :27:17.this Lynn of rain trying to get towards us from the Irish Sea. This
:27:17. > :27:22.is a recipe for snow Pauling -- falling in part. It looks like it
:27:22. > :27:28.may stay away for much of Sunday. We will have more details for you
