:05:30. > :05:35.sure if he had been there he would have been in his element and
:05:35. > :05:38.delighted. William was a pilot in the Second World War. But he was
:05:38. > :05:42.also a businessman. He made millions through his floristry
:05:42. > :05:45.company. When he died three years ago, he left �2 million to the
:05:45. > :05:48.Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust on one condition, that the money would
:05:49. > :05:52.sit in a trust fund and the interest be used to ensure military
:05:52. > :05:56.bands play at the Mesnes Park bandstand. He did say he would
