:00:28. > :00:30.to him. Also in the programme tonight... Setting up camp.

:00:31. > :00:36.Anti`fracking protestors arrive in Salford. They warn more will follow.

:00:44. > :00:48.rugby league star Steve Prescott. Pub quiz question for you, what is

:00:49. > :00:54.the biggest town in England not to have a train station? The Ansar and

:00:55. > :01:00.whether or not it will get one, later in the programme. `` the

:01:01. > :01:03.answer. And re`writing history. How two

:01:04. > :01:20.schoolgirls spotted a material mistake on this Macclesfield mural.

:01:21. > :01:24.Protestors opposed to fracking for shale gas have set up a camp outside

:01:25. > :01:27.a site in Salford. The energy company iGas is due to start

:01:28. > :01:30.drilling there in the next few weeks. The protestors say they are

:01:31. > :01:33.expecting their numbers to grow over the next few days. Here's our

:01:34. > :01:35.Environment Correspondent Judy Hobson.

:01:36. > :01:39.It's cold and wet. But these protestors are determined to stay

:01:40. > :01:42.put. Five of them set up camp this weekend They want to stop the

:01:43. > :01:47.company iGas drilling to see what gas or oil lies underground. But

:01:48. > :01:50.they fear it will eventually lead to fracking, the controversial process

:01:51. > :01:57.of drilling for shale gas by putting water and chemicals into the ground.

:01:58. > :02:00.You cannot see the drilling site from here. But from where the

:02:01. > :02:04.protesters are, it is about 300 metres through those trees.

:02:05. > :02:08.Throughout today, the protestors have been joined by local residents,

:02:09. > :02:12.offering food and moral support People really care about this,

:02:13. > :02:17.really feel disenfranchised, like the decision has been made without

:02:18. > :02:21.them. They do not want it and are not being listened to. I know people

:02:22. > :02:28.have quit their jobs, pitched up a tent, and ready to take this on We

:02:29. > :02:33.are ready to stand with them as well. The protestors say they expect

:02:34. > :02:36.more to join them over the next few days from all over the country. Some

:02:37. > :02:39.supporters have come for the day from Wigan. I have five

:02:40. > :02:43.grandchildren and I believe they deserve a nice environment to live

:02:44. > :02:54.in when growing up. In a statement, iGas said...

:02:55. > :03:07.The company hasn't said exactly when it intends to start drilling. But it

:03:08. > :03:11.claims the process it uses is safe. A Merseyside pensioner who spent

:03:12. > :03:14.five years on the run in Spain has been jailed for three years for

:03:15. > :03:16.benefit fraud totalling ?120,00 . 70`year`old Norman Brennan from

:03:17. > :03:20.Netherton was arrested on the Costa del Sol last month. He pleaded

:03:21. > :03:26.guilty to council tax, jobseeker's allowance and housing benefit fraud

:03:27. > :03:30.in 2008. Father and son loan sharks, who ran

:03:31. > :03:33.an illegal gambling den with a fruit machine and TV screens from their

:03:34. > :03:37.home in Preston, have been ordered to hand over ?300,000 to the courts.

:03:38. > :03:40.75`year`old James Alston Senior was sentenced to 18 months in prison

:03:41. > :03:44.while 46`year`old James Alston Junior was jailed for a year.

:03:45. > :03:50.They'll face more time in prison unless they pay up.

:03:51. > :03:52.Strictly Come Dancing star Sophie Ellis`Bextor says the thieves who

:03:53. > :03:57.raided contestants' dressing rooms while the show was live on Saturday

:03:58. > :04:01.night were opportunistic. Police are investigating the incident in which

:04:02. > :04:06.a an iPad, phone and jewellery were stolen from an area used by female

:04:07. > :04:10.competitors. The owner of an Isle of Man hotel,

:04:11. > :04:15.which burnt down earlier this month, says it'll cost ?15 million to

:04:16. > :04:22.repair. The accommodation blocks at the Mount Murray Hotel and Country

:04:23. > :04:24.Club were destroyed. Albert Gubay, who made his fortune by creating the

:04:25. > :04:29.Kwick Save supermarket chain, says half of his staff will now have to

:04:30. > :04:32.be made redundant. Kelly Foran has been to meet him.

:04:33. > :04:37.He's created multi million pound business. And owns one of the

:04:38. > :04:43.biggest hotels on the island. But it's been destroyed. I would not

:04:44. > :04:50.believe the collar. He said I had better come and see. I thought it

:04:51. > :05:01.was a job. Us would not believe the caller. Eye with speechless. `` I

:05:02. > :05:08.was speechless. Luckily, no one was injured, but that has cost many of

:05:09. > :05:13.the staff their jobs. We will maybe need to make at least half of them

:05:14. > :05:17.redundant, but they will be paid out whatever their entitlements are I

:05:18. > :05:26.am just dory at this time of the year for this to happen. `` I am

:05:27. > :05:29.just sorry. The rest of the hotel, including a gym and function rooms,

:05:30. > :05:33.will re`open on Wednesday. But it will be up to two years before there

:05:34. > :05:38.are any sleeping facilities. We will get a list of people booked, and we

:05:39. > :05:40.will work with those groups to get them alternative accommodation if we

:05:41. > :05:46.can. Enquiries and investigation into the cause of the fire are

:05:47. > :05:54.continuing. Next tonight, "A devoted couple who

:05:55. > :05:58.idolised each other". The families' tributes to a couple who died after

:05:59. > :06:01.their light aircraft crashed near Chester Hawaden Airport on Friday.

:06:02. > :06:04.Gary Vickers and his partner Kay Clarke were on their way back from a

:06:05. > :06:07.trip to Europe. They had delayed their journey because of bad

:06:08. > :06:10.weather. But their plane crashed the next day. Yunus Mulla has been

:06:11. > :06:13.speaking to their families. Gary Vickers and his partner Kay

:06:14. > :06:18.Clarke were together for several years, always said to be very much

:06:19. > :06:21.in love. Today, Kay's mother described how the beer were

:06:22. > :06:28.returning from a trip to Amsterdam through Paris. He was a gentleman,

:06:29. > :06:33.Gary was an experienced pilot, and would not have considered taking Kay

:06:34. > :06:36.out if they thought there was something wrong. She was absolutely

:06:37. > :06:43.devoted to have and she was devoted to him. The light aircraft crashed

:06:44. > :06:49.short of the runway near Chester Hawaden Airport. Unfortunately,

:06:50. > :06:56.there was a loud squeal, which brought people out to see what was

:06:57. > :07:02.going on saw the tragic accident. The plane veered over to the left, I

:07:03. > :07:09.believe, and the prepare those `` the propellers fit, and that is when

:07:10. > :07:13.he lost control. The 58`year`old man a businessman ran a local hotel with

:07:14. > :07:21.his father and businessman. Both had flown together. We started flying

:07:22. > :07:26.together. He went on to twin aircraft. He was very meticulous in

:07:27. > :07:35.his flying. He knew how many leaders he wanted `` how many litres he

:07:36. > :07:41.would need. This filming of landing was filmed many years ago and he had

:07:42. > :07:45.many hours of flying. Any footage from an on`board camera will be some

:07:46. > :07:48.of the evidence that a team from the air accident investigation bureau

:07:49. > :07:53.will examine. The wreckage of the plane has now been taken away. A

:07:54. > :08:01.full report to take some months We have had some messages saying that

:08:02. > :08:13.it would not be Gary. He was all about safety. That was always

:08:14. > :08:17.paramount. One of the more obvious signs of

:08:18. > :08:20.China's emergence as a major economy in recent years has been the

:08:21. > :08:24.appearance of thousands of Chinese students coming to study in the UK.

:08:25. > :08:27.Most of them won't realise it. But in Liverpool at least, theirs is a

:08:28. > :08:31.well` trodden path. Chinese sailors visited the city when Britain was

:08:32. > :08:35.the centre of world trade. And many made their home there. Stuart

:08:36. > :08:38.Flinders is in Liverpool's Chinatown, where they're recording

:08:39. > :08:44.the stories of China's 20th century immigrants through

:08:45. > :08:52.the stories of China's 20th century immigrants false `` immigrants.

:08:53. > :08:56.Many generations have followed in the footsteps of the first

:08:57. > :09:04.immigrants. Today, the city has been celebrating its Chinese history

:09:05. > :09:08.When Britain was at the heart of an empire, the world came to Liverpool.

:09:09. > :09:11.Ships headed in and out of the port to all corners of the globe. On

:09:12. > :09:16.board, not just cargo, but seamen from far`away places. Many decided

:09:17. > :09:23.to stay. My mum said they met at a dance. So she decides to stay here

:09:24. > :09:29.after meeting a girl from Liverpool? He was a merchant seaman. When he

:09:30. > :09:35.settled in England, the first jockey to was as a laundry man. `` the

:09:36. > :09:38.first job he took. Today, a blue plaque was unveiled at the old

:09:39. > :09:42.offices of the Blue Funnel Shipping Line. It employed many of the

:09:43. > :09:45.Chinese sailors who stayed here It's now a Chinese restaurant. Many

:09:46. > :09:50.Chinese were the unsung heroes of the convoys that supplied the Soviet

:09:51. > :09:53.Union in the early years of the Second World War. There is a dark

:09:54. > :09:57.side to this story. After the Second World War, in a crackdown on illegal

:09:58. > :10:04.immigration, many of the Chinese sailors were deported, their

:10:05. > :10:08.families divided. The consequences for families was their fathers

:10:09. > :10:13.disappeared. They had families here in Liverpool. They had children here

:10:14. > :10:18.in Liverpool. And the father disappeared. No Liverpool seems to

:10:19. > :10:22.be full of Chinese students, lots of them with plenty of money, a

:10:23. > :10:30.different kind of Chinese immigrants from your parents. Yes, because our

:10:31. > :10:36.parents scraped through. What do they think of your story? They do

:10:37. > :10:39.not understand it. The stories of those who came from China to make

:10:40. > :10:43.their homes in Liverpool are being collected for an oral history. The

:10:44. > :10:46.blue plaque a reminder of the city's colourful past.

:10:47. > :10:50.That oral history Project is an effort to gather the stories,

:10:51. > :10:54.particularly those that came here in the 1940s through to the 1960s, to

:10:55. > :11:00.make sure that history is not lost to the city.

:11:01. > :11:07.Thank you very much. Stuart Flinders live in Liverpool for us tonight.

:11:08. > :11:14.Still to come on North West Tonight... Inspiring the next

:11:15. > :11:18.generation. We meet the region's Unsung Sporting Hero or Heroes of

:11:19. > :11:21.2013. All will be explained. And rewriting history. How two

:11:22. > :11:33.schoolgirls spotted a material mistake on this Macclesfield mural.

:11:34. > :11:39.OK. Back to the pub quiz question at the top of the programme. What's the

:11:40. > :11:45.biggest town in the country not to have a train station? The answer?

:11:46. > :11:50.Skelmersdale. Very good, how did you know? Of the top of my head! But

:11:51. > :11:52.might it finally be about to get one? Here's Jayne McCubbin.

:11:53. > :11:59.Driving around Skelmersdale can make you dizzy. No traffic rights, `` no

:12:00. > :12:07.traffic lights, just roundabout after roundabout, after roundabout

:12:08. > :12:10.and, after roundabout. Skelmersdale was a new town experiment raised

:12:11. > :12:15.around the card. So much about the car, people are cut off from the

:12:16. > :12:21.town centre by duel carriageways. No pedestrian crossing. Skem is cut off

:12:22. > :12:26.from the rest of the world with no train station. Today, Lancashire

:12:27. > :12:29.County Council said the town's entire transport system is not fit

:12:30. > :12:36.for purpose. Everything has to change. Starting with a train

:12:37. > :12:42.station. We believe that, economic generation, not just for the town,

:12:43. > :12:49.but the whole area. This is the original railway station. In the

:12:50. > :12:54.local library, they show me the original one, closed in the 195 s.

:12:55. > :12:57.And then, talk on and off of reconnecting the town. Long overdue

:12:58. > :13:03.says Darren Baker born and bred here. It's a disaster. Has it held

:13:04. > :13:10.you back jobs wise? The doc about high`speed rail bringing jobs. ``

:13:11. > :13:13.there is talk about. That could also bring business. But they have

:13:14. > :13:20.gathered all before. Will promises finally be delivered? They have

:13:21. > :13:26.talked about this for years. We can do this, but needless discussion.

:13:27. > :13:34.What we actually need is action and some work. After that, we can do it.

:13:35. > :13:38.So another master plan to save Skelmersdale. Public consultation

:13:39. > :13:45.begins next month. With Network Rail supportive, the hope is to deliver

:13:46. > :13:50.the train station by 2019. Sport now. And only one place to

:13:51. > :13:54.start really, Richard. The funeral of the former St Helens rugby league

:13:55. > :13:59.player Steve Prescott took place earlier today?

:14:00. > :14:02.Yes, the great and the good of Rugby League turned up to pay their

:14:03. > :14:07.respects to Steve. Along with of fans and members of the public. He

:14:08. > :14:10.was an inspiration to lots of people. Diagnosed with cancer

:14:11. > :14:14.himself, Steve went on to raise more than half a million pounds for

:14:15. > :14:20.charity. And today he got the send off he deserved.

:14:21. > :14:26.They had queued on the streets of St Helens for several hours. Giving

:14:27. > :14:34.thanks for a man who never gave in. The church was full long before

:14:35. > :14:38.Steve's wife and two sons arrived. His coffin was carried by friends

:14:39. > :14:43.and former team`mates. No room inside even for some of rugby

:14:44. > :14:48.league's biggest stars. He was such a great man, the least we could do

:14:49. > :14:53.was pay our respects. Such a sad loss. I cannot put it into words.

:14:54. > :14:57.Somehow, Steve's son Taylor found these words, and the strength, to

:14:58. > :15:05.pay tribute to his dad. When I was five, and my dad got leukaemia, I

:15:06. > :15:12.said I would follow my dream to be a sportsman. I hope I make him as

:15:13. > :15:22.proud of me as he was of me. We will love him for ever, but will miss

:15:23. > :15:26.him. `` as proud of me as I was of him. A talented rugby league player

:15:27. > :15:30.for Saints. In retirement, Steve became a tireless fundraiser. Given

:15:31. > :15:33.months to live with stomach cancer, he survived for seven years. Thanks

:15:34. > :15:38.for 39 years of hope, love, inspiration. We will make sure,

:15:39. > :15:43.mate, that your name will go on and on. And we will let everybody know

:15:44. > :15:53.that you were truly one in a million. His coffin emerged to the

:15:54. > :15:59.chimes of When The Saints Go Marching In. Every club recognised

:16:00. > :16:08.Steve, not only as a rugby player, but a man, a true warrior. He left a

:16:09. > :16:12.large impression on all of us and hope lay we can show some of the

:16:13. > :16:15.courage he showed throughout his career on Saturday and bring home a

:16:16. > :16:21.good win for the England team in memory of Steve. Further proof that

:16:22. > :16:33.Steve Prescott retains the ability to inspire.

:16:34. > :16:36.He was a great man, for sure. Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge

:16:37. > :16:40.has been named in England's starting 11 to face Germany at Wembley

:16:41. > :16:44.tomorrow. The striker missed the defeat against Chile on Friday with

:16:45. > :16:46.a foot injury. But he will play for his country alongside his club

:16:47. > :16:50.skipper Steven Gerrard, who'll be winning his 108th cap. It takes him

:16:51. > :16:53.equal third in the all`time list, along with England's iconic World

:16:54. > :16:57.Cup winning captain Bobby Moore I really humbled and flattered to get

:16:58. > :17:01.108 caps, alongside Bobby Miller, but the most important thing is to

:17:02. > :17:10.get the right result against Germany. `` Bobby Moore. Then I can

:17:11. > :17:14.look back with pride. In League One, Preston North End

:17:15. > :17:16.made a statement about their promotion credentials with victory

:17:17. > :17:19.at Leyton Orient. Orient, top`of`the`table before kick`off,

:17:20. > :17:22.had only lost once in the League all season. But North End outplayed the

:17:23. > :17:27.London side for large parts of the match. And won it thanks to a

:17:28. > :17:30.cracking strike from Joe Garner That's now four goals in the last

:17:31. > :17:33.three games for the in`form striker. And in League Two, Accrington

:17:34. > :17:35.Stanley are now out of the bottom two after an excellent 2`0 victory

:17:36. > :17:39.at Scunthorpe. George Bowerman and Kayode Odejayi with the goals for

:17:40. > :17:42.Stanley. Altrincham will have to replay their

:17:43. > :17:46.FA Trophy match with Colwyn Bay after the game was abandoned with

:17:47. > :17:48.just eight minutes to go. Very controversial. Altrincham were

:17:49. > :17:52.leading 2`nil at Llanelian Road when the referee pulled a calf muscle.

:17:53. > :17:54.The Colwyn Bay manager, former Chelsea defender Frank Sinclair

:17:55. > :18:00.refused to accept a substitute referee.

:18:01. > :18:04.You may remember that we've been looking for this year's sporting

:18:05. > :18:07.unsung hero in the North West, as we build up to the BBC Sports

:18:08. > :18:11.Personality of the Year awards next month. And this time, it's gone to a

:18:12. > :18:14.couple who've dedicated their lives to helping young basketball players

:18:15. > :18:18.in the region. And on top of that, arguably the biggest name in British

:18:19. > :18:24.basketball is their biggest fan You have got to be down here low,

:18:25. > :18:30.ready to go. He is North West's basketball heart and soul. For well

:18:31. > :18:37.over three decades, he has helped thousands of youngsters, often three

:18:38. > :18:42.days a week. It is not a hardship. I enjoy doing it. Sport has great

:18:43. > :18:47.value projects. With his wife, they were instrumental in setting up the

:18:48. > :18:54.Greater Manchester basketball club in the late 1990s, now 1500 players

:18:55. > :18:58.use the centre of each week, 50 going on to represent England and

:18:59. > :19:06.his most famous prodigy went on to star in America's NBA. He is the

:19:07. > :19:15.closest thing to a father figure I ever had, I wanted the nod of his

:19:16. > :19:19.approval to drive me forward. They are the only two people who can take

:19:20. > :19:23.any credit for my success in basketball. And they are quite

:19:24. > :19:27.literally the only people who never take any credit. One of the young

:19:28. > :19:32.players is also particularly grateful to the couple. They helped

:19:33. > :19:38.him and his family through the sudden death of his eldest brother,

:19:39. > :19:42.a promising player who was just 18, and were instrumental in his other

:19:43. > :19:50.brother winning a scholarship in the states. The I cannot put it into

:19:51. > :19:55.words, but they have helped does. I have a surprise, we have been here

:19:56. > :19:58.to fill new and would like to present you and your wife with this

:19:59. > :20:09.special award, the North West sports unsung hero award. You are joking?

:20:10. > :20:17.No, you truly deserve it. And look who is presenting it! CHEERING. Well

:20:18. > :20:28.and, for decades and decades and decades. Thank you.

:20:29. > :20:35.They thoroughly deserved it as well. Everyone had nice things to

:20:36. > :20:41.say. And a joint award for both But we did not see Maggie?

:20:42. > :20:48.Unfortunately, Maggie was not well. And he did not want the limelight,

:20:49. > :20:55.as part `` at one point running away from me. Nothing new there! Putting

:20:56. > :21:02.in lots of time, sometimes seven days a week, all of the work. And we

:21:03. > :21:13.find out the winner, on the big night. `year`old they win the

:21:14. > :21:18.regional award. Win the regional award and go up against all the

:21:19. > :21:22.other regional winners. And something else for you. It's for

:21:23. > :21:25.FC United in their 3`0 victory against Frickley Athletic in the

:21:26. > :21:28.Northern Premier League. Ten minutes after the break, Steven Gardner

:21:29. > :21:35.scored with an extraordinary 50 yard lob into his own goal. Like David

:21:36. > :21:40.Beckham, just in the wrong goal He will never scored a better one.

:21:41. > :21:45.One of those moments that, as soon as it came off his boot, you

:21:46. > :21:53.realised. And he was starting a moment ago

:21:54. > :21:56.about unsung heroes. We are on the lookout for North West Tonight's

:21:57. > :22:00.very own Christmas stars. And we need your help. We want to hear

:22:01. > :22:05.about anyone who's gone out of their way to show kindness and generosity

:22:06. > :22:08.of spirit to others. It can be in any way you think is suitable. Maybe

:22:09. > :22:14.just a small act of kindness. Maybe something bigger. We have had lots

:22:15. > :22:19.of your stories already. But drop us an e`mail. Or, if you don't have a

:22:20. > :22:25.computer, ask someone who does to send it on your behalf. The e`mail

:22:26. > :22:29.address is on screen now. Tell us who it is, what came that they have

:22:30. > :22:34.done for you. And we'll make them one of our Christmas Stars of 2 13.

:22:35. > :22:40.We have already had lots of really good entries, some great acts of

:22:41. > :22:45.kindness. Thank you for that. They have had their fair share of

:22:46. > :22:51.late arrivals on Macclesfield train stations, but 100 years late is

:22:52. > :22:55.pushing it. A quick guide to the town was one century out when it

:22:56. > :23:02.came to the most important date in Macclesfield's history. The mistake

:23:03. > :23:06.was spotted by two schoolgirls. Now the council has held up its hands

:23:07. > :23:09.and moved to put things right. Dave Guest reports.

:23:10. > :23:23.There are certain dates in history that are etched into our minds. This

:23:24. > :23:29.country is at war with Germany. Easy, but what about local history?

:23:30. > :23:33.People of Macclesfield may know the town was built on the silk industry,

:23:34. > :23:42.and even now the founding father of that industry was one Charles Roe,

:23:43. > :23:52.but on which she did he build his first factory? No idea. 1860s

:23:53. > :23:55.something. Well, one trip to Macclesfield train station should

:23:56. > :23:58.set them on the right track. This council` commissioned timeline

:23:59. > :24:05.guides travellers through the town's history. And there's Charles Roe,

:24:06. > :24:09.who built his first mill in 184 ? That's actually a century out. Roe

:24:10. > :24:14.was long dead by 1843. Schoolboy error to those in the know. But it

:24:15. > :24:20.was two school girls who spotted it. We were just looking at the signs

:24:21. > :24:31.and realised that was wrong. What did you do? We told our history

:24:32. > :24:35.teacher. Why is he so important Clearly they'd been paying attention

:24:36. > :24:40.in class at the King's School. I was so delighted be applied what they

:24:41. > :24:43.have learned. The council, who commissioned the signs, held up

:24:44. > :24:48.their hands and admitted the mistake. Replacing it entirely might

:24:49. > :24:54.be expensive, so they have a cost`effective solution, adding the

:24:55. > :25:03.word centenary. Because, 1843 was the centenary of him opening the

:25:04. > :25:11.first silk mill. The history detectives. Well done to

:25:12. > :25:18.them. A bit of an embarrassing. Easily rectified. Moving on to the

:25:19. > :25:23.weather. It is going to be a cold one?

:25:24. > :25:31.It is, winter is going to show its face, already some heavy showers

:25:32. > :25:35.this week, continuing this evening and turning into wintry showers We

:25:36. > :25:41.shall see a few this week. It will be bitterly cold with frost that

:25:42. > :25:47.night. The changing conditions is courtesy of cold beer blasting from

:25:48. > :25:52.the Arctic. Over the next 24`48 hours, very cold indeed stop not

:25:53. > :25:56.particularly warm today, temperatures creeping eight or nine

:25:57. > :26:02.Celsius. Tomorrow during the daytime, we will be lucky to see

:26:03. > :26:06.highs of five Celsius. Into the end of the week, temperatures

:26:07. > :26:11.recovering, but still only six or seven Celsius. Adding in the wind

:26:12. > :26:15.chill, feeling much colder. Wintry showers crossing the Irish Sea

:26:16. > :26:22.overnight tonight, rain, sleet and snow, over the Isle of Man and many

:26:23. > :26:26.coastal areas. Any snow on high ground. A frosty and chilly night.

:26:27. > :26:34.Temperatures in towns and cities as low as minus two Celsius. Tomorrow

:26:35. > :26:39.morning, we wake up to a frosty start. Because the wintry showers

:26:40. > :26:45.are falling on frozen surfaces, there could be some ice. Idea low

:26:46. > :26:53.weather warning for this ties. Watch out for that one untreated roads on

:26:54. > :26:57.pavements. `` warning for this ice. One or two wintry showers blowing in

:26:58. > :27:08.tomorrow, Chris Gate, crisp sunshine, . `` crisp day. Adding on

:27:09. > :27:13.the wind`chill, the temperatures will feel like 0 Celsius. Wrap up

:27:14. > :27:23.very warm indeed. The very first icy start I should

:27:24. > :27:29.mark the first. `` the first icy start? You no the first.

:27:30. > :27:33.Just before we go, a big thank you to all of you who helped raise money

:27:34. > :27:36.for the BBC's Children in Need appeal in a record breaking year.

:27:37. > :27:39.The North West raised more money than any other region outside of

:27:40. > :27:43.London. ?2.7 million of the national total of just over ?31 million came

:27:44. > :27:46.from you. A huge thanks to everyone who donated as well. Have a great
