:03:52. > :03:55.It comes as the Home Secret`ry, Theresa May, orders two new public
:03:56. > :03:59.inquiries into similar allegations, some of which appear to link
:04:00. > :04:04.Our political editor Arif Ansari is live at Westminster
:04:05. > :04:20.What is going on tonight in terms of the police enquiry? I think this is
:04:21. > :04:23.significant. When the alleg`tions about Cyril Smith emerged, some of
:04:24. > :04:29.those centred on Knowl View residential school. Most people now
:04:30. > :04:36.say that Cyril Smith was a prolific paedophile. In terms of this, what
:04:37. > :04:43.happened was that two enquiries began. One was conducted by Greater
:04:44. > :04:48.Manchester Police. That was looking into who was involved in paddophile
:04:49. > :04:53.activity. There was a second one by the Rochdale Council, looking into a
