:02:08. > :02:09.his unique position to indulge in a sordid series of indecdnt
:02:10. > :02:15.episodes with young boys. The current MP who first publicly
:02:16. > :02:19.exposed Smith as an abuser two years ago says the implications
:02:20. > :02:25.of the document are clear. The police investigating Smhth had
:02:26. > :02:31.a very strong case to put to him and I think the police
:02:32. > :02:34.at the time believe he would have But Smith was a man with frhends
:02:35. > :02:41.in high places. The document quotes one loc`l
:02:42. > :02:44.magistrate as telling officers that anx
:02:45. > :02:49.prosecution would have unfortunate repercussions for the policd force
:02:50. > :02:52.and the town of Rochdale. It's no secret that Cyril and I are
:02:53. > :03:01.buddies and not only politically. What we see from this documdnt is
:03:02. > :03:04.that the establishment locally in Rochdale, some of them anyway,

:03:17. > :03:22.allowed to, Smith would not have gone on to abuse boys into the 0s,
