:00:34. > :00:37.This has been a long process, the inquest at the Royal Courts
:00:38. > :00:40.of Justice in London began just over six weeks ago with the coroner
:00:41. > :00:45.ruling that the 38 victims were unlawfully killed in June 2015.
:00:46. > :00:47.Among those who lost their lives were a Blackpool couple Denis
:00:48. > :00:50.and Elaine Thwaites whose daughter Lindsay has been attending
:00:51. > :00:55.the inquest along with her husband, Danny.
:00:56. > :00:59.Lindsay was too upset to talk to us on camera but we spoke to Danny
:01:00. > :01:02.who told us about the couple who he regarded as a second
:01:03. > :01:09.They were just genuinely lovely people.
:01:10. > :01:13.They would light up any room they walked in.
:01:14. > :01:16.Always a good laugh, hearts of gold and dearly loved
:01:17. > :01:25.And really anyone that they ever met.
:01:26. > :01:27.The last 18 months have been horrendous.
:01:28. > :01:36.The Thwaites had lived in Blackpool for 40 years.
:01:37. > :01:38.Elaine had been a hairdresser, Denis was a former
:01:39. > :01:42.In retirement, they loved to go on holiday but in June 2015 two days
:01:43. > :01:48.They were shot dead along with 36 other people.
:01:49. > :01:50.Islamists gunman Seifeddine Rezgui opened fire as people
:01:51. > :01:57.When people are going on holiday, they should feel safe.
:01:58. > :01:59.Right now at this moment in time it is, yes, we're

:02:08. > :02:12.We have had to push quite a lot to bring evidence
:02:13. > :02:18.Today, the coroner described the Tunisian police response
:02:19. > :02:20.as at best shambolic and at worst cowardly.

:02:54. > :02:58.TUI denies it was neglectful and says insufficient evidence
