:09:33. > :09:35.was around first thing in the morning in parts of Lancashire.

:09:36. > :09:37.The Weather Watcher picture coming in from Ian look

:09:38. > :09:41.For most of us, it was a lot of cloud cover -

:09:42. > :09:44.That is because of the north-westerly air flow,

:09:45. > :09:46.feeding cloud as it comes in across the sea.

:09:47. > :09:49.Over the next couple of days, a nice change in that wind direction

:09:50. > :09:53.With an area of high pressure keeping the weather

:09:54. > :09:56.front out of the way, there is room for a nice

:09:57. > :09:59.At the moment, we are still under the cloud cover and

:10:00. > :10:02.that is how we stay all the way through the night.

:10:03. > :10:04.I mean, all the way through the night.

:10:05. > :10:07.Most places just blanket cloud cover.

:10:08. > :10:09.Temperatures will be up in the overnight period.

:10:10. > :10:14.When you get up tomorrow morning, it is a little bit of a

:10:15. > :10:17.Over those high level routes, the high level could support

:10:18. > :10:20.tiny spot of drizzle here and there but hardly even

:10:21. > :10:24.For most of us, a repeat of this morning with lots of cloud.

:10:25. > :10:27.With a change in wind direction through the afternoon,

:10:28. > :10:31.You can see the sunshine gradually starting to work its way through.

:10:32. > :10:33.Much brighter skies will start to appear.

:10:34. > :10:35.It is coming in late in the day so it can't

:10:36. > :10:37.really influence the temperatures too much.

:10:38. > :10:42.After that, that is when start to see a significant change in

:10:43. > :10:44.The brighter skies will start coming through.

:10:45. > :10:47.If you're going racing tomorrow, I imagine for The Ladies' Day

:10:48. > :10:49.temperatures of around 13 Celsius with that late

:10:50. > :10:55.If I leave you with the outlook as we go through the next couple

:10:56. > :10:57.of days, the weekend looks an awful lot better.

:10:58. > :11:07.to rise into the weekend. We'll see 22 Celsius on Sunday.

:11:08. > :11:14.Hello. There was some warm sunshine around today, but it's set to get

:11:15. > :11:18.even warmer this weekend. 18 Celsius in London this afternoon. This was

:11:19. > :11:23.the scene in Chiswick, much quieter than it was on Sunday for the boat

:11:24. > :11:25.race. Under the cloud for example here in Cumbria, temperatures

:11:26. > :11:29.struggled to make double figures. Through the night we're going to

:11:30. > :11:32.hang onto a lot of cloud across north-west England, North Wales,

:11:33. > :11:36.Northern Ireland and western Scotland, where there will be a bit

:11:37. > :11:38.of drizzle on the breeze. Zero skies across many southern and eastern

:11:39. > :11:41.parts of England, together with eastern Scotland and in the

:11:42. > :11:46.countryside again, temperatures won't be far away from freezing.

:11:47. > :11:49.Just briefly, at the end of the night, because it will warm up in

:11:50. > :11:52.the sunshine. That's why we have the best of the early sunshine. The

:11:53. > :11:58.cloud will break up across Wales, the Midlands and North West England.

:11:59. > :12:00.We may hang onto more cloud in Northern Ireland and western

:12:01. > :12:02.Scotland will
