:00:14. > :00:17.More now on NHS England having to declare a major incident today,

:00:18. > :00:20.after a computer cyber-attack hit its IT systems.

:00:21. > :00:22.Staff in several North West Hospitals found themselves locked

:00:23. > :00:24.out of their computers, after receiving an email

:00:25. > :00:29.Our health correspondent Gill Dummigan reports now from one

:00:30. > :00:33.of the hospitals affected, the Royal Blackburn.

:00:34. > :00:36.Well, it was about 2:30pm this afternoon when we first started

:00:37. > :00:41.The north of the region seems to have been

:00:42. > :00:45.I am outside the Royal Blackburn, one of those hospitals

:00:46. > :00:50.Also it is so Napster hostel but personally, Blackpool,

:00:51. > :00:53.the Royal Lancaster, Kendal, Westmorland General,

:00:54. > :00:56.also Furness General in Harrow, Preston and Chorley,

:00:57. > :00:58.Southport and Ormskirk Hospital and also in Greater Manchester,

:00:59. > :01:04.Wigan, Trafford and Manchester Royal Infirmary as well.

:01:05. > :01:07.Now, of those with A, they are stressing that none

:01:08. > :01:11.What they are saying is that it has to be a genuine

:01:12. > :01:14.Other things that have been affected in the hospitals,

:01:15. > :01:19.things like patient discharge because they couldn't access

:01:20. > :01:22.the records, so the problems there, because of course it is Friday,

:01:23. > :01:24.they are trying to get people home for the weekend.

:01:25. > :01:27.Now, it is not just hospitals which have been affected,

:01:28. > :01:32.I spoke to one GP from Blackburn earlier this evening.

:01:33. > :01:38.Slowly every computer, a lot of messages one by one came

:01:39. > :01:46.They told us we need to be careful about that.

:01:47. > :01:46.And then you can try it, but don't open any other programs.

:01:47. > :01:56.But it is every two seconds popping up and we couldn't see patients.

:01:57. > :01:59.We need to use paper, pen and paper like olden days.

:02:00. > :02:01.But people and patients are really understanding.

:02:02. > :02:05.So, they helped us to run it smoothly until the evening.

:02:06. > :02:07.So, of course people working very hard to sort all this out,

:02:08. > :02:14.but it will be Monday now before we see what the lasting effect is.

:02:15. > :02:18.An inquest jury has found that an 83-year-old man with dementia

:02:19. > :02:21.died in Cheshire after staff at the care home where he was living

:02:22. > :02:26.Police spent six days searching for Roy Tomlinson before

:02:27. > :02:29.finding his body in a building less than half a mile from Brookfield

:02:30. > :02:36.A father, whose son had had to take the decision to put him in secure

:02:37. > :02:39.care after dementia began to affect his behaviour.

:02:40. > :02:41.On 26 January last year, Mr Tomlinson was given the drug

:02:42. > :02:48.He should have been monitored to see how it affected him, but he wasn't.

:02:49. > :02:51.That afternoon Mr Tomlinson walked out of the home.

:02:52. > :02:54.The jury was shown CCTV footage of him wandering

:02:55. > :03:00.Despite a huge police search, it was six days before his body

:03:01. > :03:04.was discovered in a building less than half a mile from the home.

:03:05. > :03:06.He'd died of hypothermia and pneumonia.

:03:07. > :03:09.Returning a narrative conclusion, a jury here in Warrington found

:03:10. > :03:14.there was no adequate supervision of the fire door and side gate

:03:15. > :03:17.at the home and it's likely Mr Tomlinson left through them.

:03:18. > :03:22.They decided that all reasonable efforts were made to find him,

:03:23. > :03:25.but he probably died the day after he was reported missing.

:03:26. > :03:28.You've taken the decision to put him in there.

:03:29. > :03:32.Would I make the same decision again?

:03:33. > :03:34.With hindsight, the answer would be a solid no,

:03:35. > :03:37.but you don't have hindsight when you make those decisions.

:03:38. > :03:41.I think a lot of it is, you know, you have got to rely on the CQC

:03:42. > :03:44.and the governmental agencies to assess the care homes,

:03:45. > :03:49.and the care home owners and operators have got to make sure,

:03:50. > :03:53.Today the owner of the care home offered condolences

:03:54. > :04:06.Mr Tomlinson's son says he's discussing his options

:04:07. > :04:17.If you're a Tranmere Rovers fan you might already have one or two

:04:18. > :04:22.Tranmere are preparing for one of their biggest matches in recent

:04:23. > :04:26.Rovers take on Forest Green Rovers in the National

:04:27. > :04:30.And if they win they'll be promoted back into the Football League.

:04:31. > :04:40.For Tranmere Rovers, their whole season has come

:04:41. > :04:48.What's massive, you hear stories of how far the fans are travelling.

:04:49. > :04:52.The numbers that they have travelled here in, it's huge.

:04:53. > :04:56.So we're delighted that we're able to represent such a fantastic club.

:04:57. > :05:00.It's been a tough few seasons for Rovers, with the end of 94 years

:05:01. > :05:06.Tranmere Rovers is a club that is reinventing itself in many

:05:07. > :05:10.ways, moving forward to this new training ground is part of that.

:05:11. > :05:13.But of course, the main objective is to get back

:05:14. > :05:17.And the whole team is determined to make sure they don't let

:05:18. > :05:22.And for those who've gone through the two recent

:05:23. > :05:26.relegations, the determination is particularly clear.

:05:27. > :05:28.Back-to-back relegations, obviously it wasn't nice for myself

:05:29. > :05:33.But they have come in and turned the upside down.

:05:34. > :05:40.You know, I really hope we do it for them and all the fans.

:05:41. > :05:42.Tranmere booked their place at Wembley with a convincing

:05:43. > :05:52.It's a massive honour, isn't it, to be at Wembley.

:05:53. > :05:57.But very quickly, we'll get ourselves into the game mode

:05:58. > :06:01.and focus on the important thing, and that's trying to win a game

:06:02. > :06:06.And if his team can finish the job at Wembley on Sunday,

:06:07. > :06:09.Tranmere's fans really will start to feel it's the beginning

:06:10. > :06:16.One football match tonight, and Ross Barkley's goal

:06:17. > :06:22.settled Everton's meeting with Watford at Goodison.

:06:23. > :06:24.And in the Rugby League Challenge Cup tonight,

:06:25. > :06:38.That aside from me. Now the weather forecast. We knew today would be the

:06:39. > :06:42.day when things change and it turned out that way. Some pretty good

:06:43. > :06:47.pictures across the north-west of England. But it has been about the

:06:48. > :06:50.showers. In the morning it was longer spells a friend. Drier

:06:51. > :06:55.through the afternoon with some spells of sunshine. But with the

:06:56. > :07:02.vast couple of hours more showers. Some of them will be fairly heavy. I

:07:03. > :07:09.dry spell as they push away to the north-west but in the early hours

:07:10. > :07:14.there will be more, it will not be too welcome through the weekend.

:07:15. > :07:19.Overnight temperatures 11 or 12. Damp tomorrow morning as well but

:07:20. > :07:25.that should push north as the day goes on. Past lunchtime brighter

:07:26. > :07:29.skies. Not a blind date but in the sunshine in the afternoon

:07:30. > :07:38.temperatures won't be too bad, 17 or 18. The

:07:39. > :07:44.A bit of a mixed bag earlier on today, some of us were cloudy with

:07:45. > :07:50.rain. This is the view from one of our weather watchers in Cornwall.

:07:51. > :07:55.But in the Highlands of Scotland, it was completely different, find,

:07:56. > :08:01.sunny and warm. The satellite and radar picture shows the variety of

:08:02. > :08:09.weather we have had. It brightened up into the afternoon, early

:08:10. > :08:14.evening. The north-east of Scotland and England have extensive low

:08:15. > :08:18.cloud, missed, fog. If you showers getting into the south coast by the

:08:19. > :08:24.end of the night. It is not a cold night. Into the morning, many

:08:25. > :08:29.Southern counties will do quite well. There is the chance of a

:08:30. > :08:33.shower or two, most of them are gone by 9am. A lot of dry weather.

:08:34. > :08:34.Variable cloud, some
