0:00:50 > 0:00:52like that and treatment should be stopped and he should be

0:00:52 > 0:00:55allowed to die.

0:00:55 > 0:00:59Doctors disagreed, saying they was potential

0:00:59 > 0:01:02for his condition to improve.

0:01:02 > 0:01:04The judge ruled in favour of Mrs Briggs.

0:01:04 > 0:01:07Then lawyers suggested the Official Solicitor,

0:01:07 > 0:01:09which acts for people who are vulnerable,

0:01:09 > 0:01:11may appeal the decision.

0:01:11 > 0:01:14But the law firm representing Mrs Briggs has now been told

0:01:14 > 0:01:15there will be no appeal.

0:01:15 > 0:01:19Paul Briggs is likely to be moved to a hospice in the coming days
