:00:32. > :00:33.Their allegations concern the activities of a number

:00:34. > :00:37.of people connected to Clarksfield Primary School

:00:38. > :00:38.in Oldham and claims of a Trojan Horse style plot

:00:39. > :00:41.The Sunday Times reports the head teacher, Patricia O'Donnell,

:00:42. > :00:44.has expresed concerns about her own safety

:00:45. > :00:45.after receiving death threats and aggressive verbal abuse,

:00:46. > :00:49.and that the head teachers' union NAHT is currently supporting

:00:50. > :00:52.a number of members in the Oldham area with a variety of apparent

:00:53. > :00:55.Now, the school was criticised by Ofsted in 2013 for its

:00:56. > :01:00.quotes a confidential report on the views of local authority

:01:01. > :01:05.officers at the time - they claimed a former governor,

:01:06. > :01:08.Nasim Ashraf, and others were "seeking to secure changes

:01:09. > :01:11.to reflect their interpretation of Islam, and were behaving in a way

:01:12. > :01:13.which harassed and sought to intimidate school staff,

:01:14. > :01:23.It is important to add here that the report concluded this

:01:24. > :01:26.did not constitute a Trojan plot and that Mr Ashraf was not

:01:27. > :01:32.an extremist and was not found to have intimidated anyone.

:01:33. > :01:36.You spoke to Mr Ashraf today - what did he tell you?

:01:37. > :01:39.He stated categorically that he had nothing to do with any Trojan Horse

:01:40. > :01:42.plot against the head teacher and had only got involved in

:01:43. > :01:47.the school to improve it because of his Muslim beliefs.

:01:48. > :01:50.Mr Ashraf is known locally for his charity work and said

:01:51. > :01:53.he was concerend about the damage this could do to his reputation

:01:54. > :02:02.They said they take allegations of this kind very seriously

:02:03. > :02:10.It went on to add, "The report found no basis

:02:11. > :02:13.We have no active investigations or concerns about any

:02:14. > :02:23.We were not able to contact the head teacher or her union

:02:24. > :02:26.or the current chair of governors, but I'm told that a number of people

:02:27. > :02:29.connected with this story will be making a comment in the coming days.

:02:30. > :02:32.Hundreds of police investigations are being reviewed after two men

:02:33. > :02:35.who work at a forensic science lab in Manchester were arrested

:02:36. > :02:36.on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.

:02:37. > :02:39.Randox Testing Services in Blackley provides drug and alcohol tests

:02:40. > :02:42.The company has been working with Greater Manchester

:02:43. > :02:46.It said the investigation centred on the manipulation of data

:02:47. > :02:52.rather than any tampering with actual tests.

:02:53. > :02:54.Parishoners of the Church of Ascension in Salford,
