:04:35. > :04:37.of its officers after a former race-relations champion was tasered

:04:38. > :04:39.after being mistaken for a dangerous wanted man.

:04:40. > :04:43.The federation, which represents rank-and-file officers,

:04:44. > :04:45.says Ras Adunbi would not say who he was.

:05:16. > :05:20.Josh Clayton from Somerset disappeared on Tresco

:05:21. > :05:22.in the Scilly Isles but there was never a criminal investigation.

:05:23. > :05:25.Now the coroner has ordered the police to

:05:26. > :05:33.Before I take my last breath, we will know

:05:34. > :05:35.what happened to my boy. Without a shadow of the doubt,

:05:36. > :05:38.we will find out and we will get justice for Josh.

:05:39. > :05:47.The final resting place of Josh Clayton, aged 23.

:05:48. > :05:49.But was his death just a terrible accident?

:05:50. > :05:55.I believe it was done through third-party involvement.

:05:56. > :05:58.His family have now spent the best part

:06:05. > :06:06.They're convinced the police got it wrong.

:06:07. > :06:10.I've had a meeting with Devon and Cornwall Police, a senior officer

:06:11. > :06:15.from Devon and Cornwall Police, who has assured me he will be

:06:16. > :06:20.reviewing and hopefully, look for any gaps

:06:21. > :06:23.that happened throughout the investigation.

:06:24. > :06:26.It definitely wasn't an accident. Definitely.

:06:27. > :06:33.When Isles of Scilly police found the body

:06:34. > :06:36.of Josh Clayton 16 months ago, they did put it down

:06:37. > :06:42.He'd been attending a private party on Tresco, where he'd been

:06:43. > :06:45.His body was discovered ten days later.

:06:46. > :06:47.But last week, an inquest into his death

:06:48. > :06:49.was dramatically halted when the new evidence emerged.

:06:50. > :06:53.This man, Leroy Thomas, told the hearing that he'd

:06:54. > :06:56.witnessed Josh arguing with a group of men after leaving the party.

:06:57. > :07:01.The coroner said the police needed to reinvestigate.

:07:02. > :07:04.Which has given the family some hope.

:07:05. > :07:06.Up until now, they'd been asking for a new force

:07:07. > :07:15.As far as they were concerned, he was a drugged up drunk,

:07:16. > :07:17.that had been washed out to sea, and didn't think of anything else.

:07:18. > :07:21.The police force have issued a stored

:07:22. > :07:23.statement, simply saying, "We were only made aware

:07:24. > :07:28.of the new evidence at the inquest and our carrying

:07:29. > :07:31.of the new evidence at the inquest and are carrying

:07:32. > :07:33.The former Chief Constable of Gloucestershire police

:07:34. > :07:37.has told us it is unusual for an inquest to be halted in this

:07:38. > :07:39.way and says the Devon and Cornwall Police

:07:40. > :07:41.will now need to look again at their investigation.

:07:42. > :07:43.The Devon and Cornwall Police will now presumably have to go back,

:07:44. > :07:46.first to the witness, who's added this new information

:07:47. > :07:48.at quite a late stage and interview him again to see

:07:49. > :07:51.whether he's got something different to say, formally in writing and how

:07:52. > :07:55.that differs from his previous account and it seems to differ

:07:56. > :07:57.materially from his previous account, so that's

:07:58. > :08:02.Problem number two is there was a party and there

:08:03. > :08:06.they've already interviewed those people once, they've now got to try

:08:07. > :08:08.and retrace these people, maybe interview them again.

:08:09. > :08:10.The family say they simply want the truth and they won't

:08:11. > :08:19.Prince Harry has been in Wiltshire today to see how former members

:08:20. > :08:22.of the armed forces are being helped with their mental health.

:08:40. > :08:46.There is a risk at the moment that people get used to experiencing no

:08:47. > :08:51.mood experiencing, stress and anxiety in thinking they don't need

:08:52. > :08:54.the support of and it can raise awareness and say we can help you if

:08:55. > :08:56.you can recognise those symptoms in yourself.

:08:57. > :09:00.The Prince met just a few of the thousand people who have been

:09:01. > :09:03.helped by what is known as the hidden-wounds service.

:09:04. > :09:05.The ex-wife of the legendary entertainer Kenny Everett has been

:09:06. > :09:09.speaking about how an offer of a job on BBC Radio Bristol

:09:10. > :09:14.The DJ was hired by the station in 1971, shortly after his on-air

:09:15. > :09:24.His editor and his producer Kate Adie told me about about

:09:25. > :09:27.the risk they all took putting him back on air.

:09:28. > :09:31.# the voice of radio 1. #

:09:32. > :09:33.In the late 1960s, Kenny Everett was the master

:09:34. > :09:39.Then in 1971 came the fall - he was sacked from Radio one.

:09:40. > :09:47.He really was, because the BBC, it was his idea of heaven.

:09:48. > :10:01.I think he'd liked to have been dead.

:10:02. > :10:04.Without a job and his career seemingly over, he took an offer

:10:05. > :10:06.from a young station manager at radio Bristol.

:10:07. > :10:13.But it wasn't altogether popular with the senior

:10:14. > :10:24.We had a young lady on our staff at Radio Bristol who was a toughie.

:10:25. > :10:31.Somebody like Ken was a matter little, causing great joy

:10:32. > :10:35.for the listeners and is not a little worry for the men in suits.

:10:36. > :10:40.This career-kickstart on Radio Bristol led to other slots

:10:41. > :10:49.And eventually, a return to superstardom.

:10:50. > :10:58.hold everything! I'm still very proud of my contact

:10:59. > :11:00.with Kenny Everett and I still love the clips that come upon the

:11:01. > :11:09.television, the Little jingles you hear on radio. The Rod Stewart

:11:10. > :11:11.sketch. All in the best possible taste!

:11:12. > :11:20.And you can catch up on that on Inside Out West on the iplayer.

:11:21. > :11:29.That it from us tonight. More news on the BBC website and your local

:11:30. > :11:36.BBC Regis stations. We're back at breakfast tomorrow from 6:30am. Good

:11:37. > :11:39.night. Ian has the forecast. The weather is not in the best possible

:11:40. > :11:44.taste if you're heading out on the roads across the West Country, we've

:11:45. > :11:49.got some decidedly foggy conditions already across some parts of the

:11:50. > :11:53.region and by tomorrow morning, that could be quite plentiful, at least

:11:54. > :12:00.in some areas. Once we clear fog out of the way, it will be otherwise day

:12:01. > :12:05.with dry conditions, some bright spells, varying cloud. Met Office

:12:06. > :12:10.warning came into force and is in force into tomorrow. Don't pass the

:12:11. > :12:14.M5, south-west which, visibly -- visibility is down to about 50

:12:15. > :12:17.metres. We could see those conditions repeated in parts of the

:12:18. > :12:24.region as the night wears on so take it easy. Temperatures tonight down

:12:25. > :12:29.to below freezing across many areas, freezing fog would be the net

:12:30. > :12:34.result, we will find that through the course of tomorrow, some of that

:12:35. > :12:40.will be slow to clear. In other areas, without fog or it's lifted, a

:12:41. > :12:44.decent enough day with cloud, generally light breeze and remaining

:12:45. > :12:50.dry and temperatures will vary, so where we stick will fog, up to about

:12:51. > :12:53.six or seven Celsius. Wednesday, still the threat of some

:12:54. > :12:55.For the weekend we will have dry weather with sunny spells and it

:12:56. > :13:06.will be a little bit milder. Good evening. We are continuing to

:13:07. > :13:14.see huge righty in the weather. Getting the detail right is proving

:13:15. > :13:19.to be a challenge. This was in Pembrokeshire and other parts of the

:13:20. > :13:24.UK were gloomy throughout the day. The fog is thickening up right now.

:13:25. > :13:32.Particularly pool on the M5 in south-west England. Very foggy

:13:33. > :13:35.across parts of the West Country. This fog is tending to spread its

:13:36. > :13:36.way further
