:00:35. > :00:38.Through regular commemorative from veterans and, recently,

:00:39. > :00:41.this new memorial to the Glorious Gloucesters

:00:42. > :00:44.near to the site of the battle of the Imjin River.

:00:45. > :00:46.And today, further recognistion with the opening of the dralatic

:00:47. > :00:52.A proud time for those who fought with the Gloucesters,

:00:53. > :00:55.but also the hope that it acts as a room memorial to other

:00:56. > :01:02.The Gloucesters, let's face it, bore the brunt of the battlds.

:01:03. > :01:07.The Royal Ulster Rifles, the Northumberland Fusiliers,

:01:08. > :01:10.the Belgians were all involved and they lost a lot of men.

:01:11. > :01:12.Whilst the bridge and memorhals are important, also tangibld

:01:13. > :01:17.is the thought of today's South Koreans.

:01:18. > :01:20.This is an extract from a ldtter written recently by a 15-ye`r-old

:01:21. > :01:26.schoolgirl in Paju to all Korean veterans.

:01:27. > :01:30.But now Paju is peaceful and happy and this is thanks to you.

:01:31. > :01:32.I want to meet you and tell much you my appreciation

:01:33. > :01:36.Your bravery makes as live in a peaceful city.

:01:37. > :01:38.To read something like that from a 15-year-old, I'm verx

:01:51. > :01:53.and it is lovely that they brought them up to appreciate the freedom

:01:54. > :01:58.The Heroes Bridge isn't for the faint-hearted,

:06:07. > :06:07.northern parts of the UK, temperatures will be lower than
