:01:08. > :01:14.More competition is on its way in Bristol with a new app called Braxi.
:01:15. > :01:19.It works in the same way as Uber, but unlike Uber, drivers are still
:01:20. > :01:22.licensed by Bristol City Council and vetted in the same way as other taxi
:01:23. > :01:28.The advantage for me as a taxi driver is whereas
:01:29. > :01:31.before I was sat on the taxi ranks waiting for the
:01:32. > :01:34.now the customers want to use their phones,
:01:35. > :01:37.they want to use an app and see the taxi coming to them.
:01:38. > :01:40.Drivers can pick and choose when they work for Braxi
:01:41. > :01:45.Like Tahir, another driver has signed up to become a Braxi
:01:46. > :01:53.driver too, but he says he's sceptical the app will take off.
:01:54. > :01:56.At the station people come from all other
:01:57. > :01:59.They're not going to look for a local app.
