:04:50. > :04:53.At the bottom of the screen you can see two men scrambling out of the

:06:36. > :06:40.But first, it is that time on a Friday evening in August when we
:06:40. > :06:49.leave the studio and head out on the latest of our Festival Friday
:06:49. > :06:55.series. This evening Polly and Rob are at Eastbourne Airbourne. What
:06:55. > :07:04.is the atmosphere like? It is great. You join us at an

:07:08. > :07:14.Thousands and thousands of people have turned out to see the show, to
:07:14. > :07:17.see us and more importantly, to see the aeroplanes. We've seen
:07:17. > :07:21.aerobatics and we will be seen the Red Arrows.
:07:21. > :07:27.Them as a lot going on on the ground as well. In the main arena

:07:30. > :07:35.speed one of the pilots taking part in the aerobatic displays and we
:07:35. > :07:40.will find out what this event does of tourism in Eastbourne. Firstly,
:07:40. > :07:46.Ian Palmer has been soaking up the atmosphere of the day.
:07:46. > :07:50.Wing walking over Sussex. It must be Eastbourne Airbourne. I never
:07:50. > :07:54.get nervous before a wing walk. I have wanted to it since I was six
:07:54. > :08:03.years old. I have been doing it for five years and every time it is a
:08:03. > :08:08.magical experience. The event has come a long way since it first
:08:08. > :08:18.started in 1993. So much so, Nigel and Carol Smith built their annual
:08:18. > :08:19.
:08:19. > :08:25.holiday around it. The airshow at is an extra thing to do. We really
:08:25. > :08:30.enjoy it. For not liking aeroplanes I have become addicted. This bomb-

:08:40. > :08:45.The we are chefs by trade, so we look at what the troops are doing.
:08:45. > :08:48.If they have got a heavy schedule, we will know them up with
:08:48. > :08:53.carbohydrates. Jumping out of aeroplanes and helicopters is not
:08:53. > :08:58.normal behaviour, but today there are plenty willing to do it. One of
:08:58. > :09:02.the best ways to enjoy this guy is to get out of their aircraft.
:09:02. > :09:11.Everyone on the display team has at least 200 jams, which is the
:09:11. > :09:16.minimum you need. A special moment was reserved for Britain's plane,
:09:16. > :09:25.the Spitfire. They are fantastic. Just wonderful to see all these

:12:15. > :12:21.charge for the event a few years ago and the number has dropped off.
:12:21. > :12:27.Can use continue providing the event for free. It is worth the
:12:27. > :12:34.investment. It is busy today. Something like 35,000 ice-creams
:12:34. > :12:41.are sold over the weekend. Back is right. The seafront is heaving and
:12:41. > :12:45.it has been a fantastic day out. Thank you. That a fighter jet is
:12:45. > :12:53.going to continue, so let's go back to the studio.
:12:53. > :13:03.We will go back to East or later. A charity worker from Sussex is

:15:56. > :16:06.East's top teams will be hoping for something similar tomorrow. But, as
:16:06. > :16:07.
:16:07. > :16:11.Neil Bell reports, three of them face tricky away games. After the
:16:11. > :16:21.euphoria of their first home win last weekend, Brighton will be
:16:21. > :16:23.
:16:23. > :16:30.hoping for an equally impressive result at Portsmouth. I need to be
:16:30. > :16:40.calm and realistic. We need to slowly become a proper championship

:16:42. > :16:48.team. If people think it is going to happen this year, we already won
:16:48. > :16:51.the league last year, we need to become. Charlton should be full of

:17:16. > :17:20.Macclesfield in their first ever home league game. They will be
:17:20. > :17:28.hoping to celebrate with a victory after an impressive draw at Port

:19:39. > :19:39.
:19:39. > :19:46.Richard was able to show me what she can really do. That is awesome!
:19:46. > :19:56.What a feeling. Fantastic. And then, after a barrel rolling, we loop the

:22:28. > :22:33.real crowd-pleaser. I know people have been really enjoying what has
:22:33. > :22:39.been going on today. Polly is in the depths of the crowd. Yes, we

:22:45. > :22:51.over the world to attend. This woman has come from New Zealand.
:22:51. > :23:00.What do you make of it? It is different, but it is also the same.
:23:00. > :23:09.This show is amazing. Yes, it is quite incredible. You have come

:24:29. > :24:36.will be patchy rain and drizzle. It will clear up around lunchtime
:24:36. > :24:41.tomorrow. If you're planning on coming to Eastbourne Airborne over
