:00:45. > :00:48.road. They just left him. They just drove off and left him therd. It's
:00:49. > :00:52.terrible. Such an awful thing to do, especially to an older person. They
:00:53. > :00:57.didn't know that anybody was going to find him. He could have died on
:00:58. > :01:00.the road. It was the middle of the night, so another car could have
:01:01. > :01:03.come along and hit him becatse, because no one would have sden
:01:04. > :01:07.there's somebody in the middle of the road. So we are really tpset
:01:08. > :01:11.someone would do that to hil. Tom Davis was crossing the road to his
:01:12. > :01:14.hotel after a cycle club dinner when he was hit. He suffered a hdad
:01:15. > :01:18.injury, nine broken ribs, and bruised lungs. Now his cycld club
:01:19. > :01:21.colleagues have joined the `ppeal to find the driver. I just think it's
:01:22. > :01:27.the most cowardly thing that you could possibly do. And I hope they
:01:28. > :01:30.can live with their conscience. And I also hope that the police are
:01:31. > :01:35.lucky enough to find whoever it was and put them through due process.
:01:36. > :01:39.Because it's going to be a terrible loss to his family, otherwise. He's
:01:40. > :01:44.never going to be the same granddad again. We just hope that thdy feel
:01:45. > :01:49.guilty or somebody saw something. More of the car than what wd've
:01:50. > :01:53.found so far. And will just go to the police, come forward, and say,
:01:54. > :01:56.it was me, I did it. And just take responsibility for their actions.

:02:04. > :02:08.permanent. We've been with him every day, sat with him for hours. I'm not
