:00:12. > :00:14.grieve properly because mistakes made by staff mean they don't

:00:15. > :00:19.19`year`old Georgina Weaver was admitted to the East Surrey Hospital

:00:20. > :00:22.in Redhill with debilitating headaches,

:00:23. > :00:30.Georgina Weaver was studying animal care and wanted to be a vet.

:00:31. > :00:33.Her two dogs are now a daily reminder for her family

:00:34. > :00:37.Georgina suffered severe headaches for several years and was rushed

:00:38. > :00:42.Within a week, her life support machine was switched off.

:00:43. > :00:49.The ICT unit was in tears because it affected everybody on the ward.

:00:50. > :00:53.Because they said it was so unusual to have a young adult

:00:54. > :00:58.Georgina had a suspected brain condition called

:00:59. > :01:03.but the exact cause of her death couldn't be established because

:01:04. > :01:09.It's an unusual condition in that the brain, in effect,

:01:10. > :01:16.And, so, part of the brain is lodged in the hole from which

:01:17. > :01:21.The hospital has since apologised for delaying

:01:22. > :01:25.the postmortem and says the staff involved no longer work there.

:01:26. > :01:41.Tomorrow would have been Georgina's 20th birthday.

:01:42. > :01:44.Her parents are building a memorial garden for her.

:01:45. > :01:46.But they say failings in her daughter's care have

:01:47. > :01:54.A box stuffed with razor blades and a jar of coffee that contained

:01:55. > :01:57.dirty cat litter have been handed into a food bank in West Sussex.

:01:58. > :02:00.Volunteers made the discovery at the Burgess Hill Community Food

:02:01. > :02:03.Bank, which is based at St John's Church in the town.

:02:04. > :02:07.They've reported the incident to the police.

:02:08. > :02:10.Almost six months after the worst flooding in a decade, an agreement's

:02:11. > :02:15.been made to spend ?38 million improving flood defences in Kent.

:02:16. > :02:19.But the Environment Agency and Kent County Council still have to

:02:20. > :02:24.get approval for the investment, as Lynda Hardy reports.

:02:25. > :02:26.It was the Christmas to forget in parts of Kent.

:02:27. > :02:31.Today, as they're still drying out in Yalding,

:02:32. > :02:37.It's as millions of pounds of funding is discussed that could

:02:38. > :02:41.see a new early warning system in Yalding, and the life flood barrier

:02:42. > :02:49.The people who are flooded are still out of their homes, or, like me,

:02:50. > :02:54.living upstairs with no kitchen, and no furniture downstairs.

:02:55. > :02:59.And that isn't reasonable for people to expect for people to put

:03:00. > :03:06.It all depends upon the money, whether it is actually delivered.

:03:07. > :03:09.So, these agreements, in principle, are all fine and large, and, yes,

:03:10. > :03:15.if the project actually comes to pass, I believe it will help us.

:03:16. > :03:17.One particular thing we are talking about today is

:03:18. > :03:20.the improvements we are making to our flood warning service.

:03:21. > :03:23.So, we've had quite a lot of feedback to say flood warnings

:03:24. > :03:26.people received didn't always help them to understand their risk,

:03:27. > :03:29.what was going to happen, and help them take appropriate action.

:03:30. > :03:31.Meanwhile, how the money to prevent future flooding

:03:32. > :03:39.like this will be spent, and exactly where, is still to be decided.

:03:40. > :03:42.Princess Anne has been to Dungeness to officially name

:03:43. > :03:47.The Morrell is the first of a new generation of lifeboats

:03:48. > :03:49.designed to help the crew reach casualties in shallow waters.

:03:50. > :03:52.It's hoped hundreds of lives will be saved by the boat's

:03:53. > :04:05.There was a fair amount of cloud around spoiling

:04:06. > :04:12.We hold onto the cloud for most of the night, but it should be dry,

:04:13. > :04:15.though, with the odd spot of rain, here and there.

:04:24. > :04:28.For tomorrow, there is still a fari amount of cloud around, but much

:04:29. > :04:33.So, many more breaks in that cloud allowing

:04:34. > :04:39.Again, many of us will have a dry day tomorrow.

:04:40. > :04:40.But temperatures really quite healthy.

:04:41. > :04:44.We're looking at highs of 19, 20 Celsius in some parts, so quite

:04:45. > :04:49.Enjoy that warmth in that sunshine because on Monday things go downhill

:05:26. > :05:28.Overnight into western Scotland, thicker cloud. Patchy hybrids of

:05:29. > :05:32.rain moving in. Some of that reaching Northern Ireland late in

:05:33. > :05:36.the night. Elsewhere, dry. Where you are clear, you will see some patchy

:05:37. > :05:39.mist and fog developing. Temperatures just over a single

:05:40. > :05:42.figures. There will be a different look to the weather across the

:05:43. > :05:46.western side of the UK. Western coast 's of England and Wales, so

:05:47. > :05:51.much sunshine today. More cloud around, maybe a hint of drizzle. In

:05:52. > :05:54.the evening we will start to see our bricks of rain. Central and eastern

:05:55. > :05:59.England will see a fair amount of morning sunshine. Southern and

:06:00. > :06:02.eastern Scotland, a dry start. For Northern Ireland and western

:06:03. > :06:06.Scotland, not just goal, but rampant places to begin the day. Easier when

:06:07. > :06:10.you have rain, the temperature held down. There will be low is in the

:06:11. > :06:15.rain, especially in Northern Ireland. In the afternoon we'll see

:06:16. > :06:16.more in persistent rain and heavy burst is in western
