:00:51. > :01:00.A fisherman for 36 years, he started in the industry aged just 14.

:01:33. > :01:39.He last heard his fellow fisherman while in the water.

:01:40. > :01:42.One later died in hospital and the other is now presumed dead.

:01:43. > :01:45.The worst thing is your colleagues who cannot come with you.

:03:14. > :03:25.On a cold frosty morning, it is marathon number 98 for Ryan.

:03:26. > :03:27.He has covered more than 2,500 miles, running an average

:03:28. > :03:32.of two races a week, including doing 12 in 12 days.

:03:38. > :03:42.after day after day, and it's been cold, rainy, windy,

:03:43. > :03:45.and some days you still have to get up and drag yourself out of bed.

:03:46. > :03:48.But it's been a good journey, it's been fun.

:03:49. > :03:50.I'm just looking forward to the end of it now.

:03:51. > :03:53.It doesn't matter whether he wins - he's on track to become

:03:54. > :03:55.a world record holder, having run 100 marathons

:03:56. > :04:00.And he's raised thousands of pounds for blood cancer research,

:04:01. > :04:10.in honour of his family friend Paul Denton, who is

:04:31. > :04:33.We don't receive any money at all from the government,

:04:34. > :04:36.so we are reliant on supporters and fundraisers, who are always

:04:37. > :04:41.And Ryan's efforts are really quite incredible.

:04:42. > :04:43.He'll run another marathon tomorrow, and on New Year's Eve in Deal,

:04:44. > :04:46.he'll complete his 100th race to earn him a place
