:02:41. > :02:47.Dramatic CCTV footage has been released of supermarket staff

:02:48. > :02:52.being held at knifepoint by two robbers at a Brighton Co-op store.

:02:53. > :02:55.They were threatened with an 11-inch knife and forced into a room

:02:56. > :03:02.Sussex Police say it was an "alarming and violent robbery."

:03:16. > :03:19.The store-room camera then revealing the moment one of the raiders

:03:20. > :03:25.The three staff members are then forced onto their knees in an office

:03:26. > :03:28.as the raiders search the store for money, helping themselves

:03:29. > :03:37.We showed footage of the raid to people here in Patcham.

:03:38. > :03:42.As an ordinary citizen, I just think it's terrifying.

:03:43. > :03:47.And if I was faced by that, you've got all sorts of ideas

:03:48. > :03:58.But with a knife and masks and so on, so on.

:03:59. > :04:02.To have been in that situation would have been shocking.

:04:03. > :04:04.Everyone's rallying round the staff here and trying

:04:05. > :04:08.For the people working in the store, they must have been terrified.

:04:12. > :04:15.The robbery happened on the night of Friday, December the 16th,

:04:16. > :04:19.The men escaping from the store in Old London Road with more

:04:20. > :04:25.than ?2,500 in cash from a safe and the tills.

:04:26. > :04:27.Detectives said today they are linking it to another

:04:28. > :04:31.raid four days later at the Co-op in Saltdean.

:04:32. > :04:35.Here, a masked man in a Santa hat pulls a knife on a shop worker

:04:36. > :04:38.as she stacks shelves, forcing her into the store office.

:04:39. > :04:42.He then grabs another staff member there and makes him open the safe.

:04:43. > :04:44.During the incident, the female member of staff

:04:45. > :04:49.was assaulted, sustaining several broken ribs.

:04:50. > :04:56.It is unusual to get attacks of this type in

:04:57. > :04:58.Brighton so when we get two in very close succession,

:04:59. > :05:00.both targeting Co-ops with men of similar description,

:05:01. > :05:04.when you have got circumstances like that,

:05:05. > :05:08.With the raids here in Patcham and Saltdean

:05:09. > :05:13.taking just three minutes and two minutes respectively,

:05:14. > :05:16.police believe there was a degree of preplanning in both.

:05:17. > :05:18.They say the men involved are dangerous

:05:19. > :05:25.and they want the public's help in bringing them to justice.

:05:26. > :05:27.The M25 road rage killer Kenneth Noye is a step closer

:05:28. > :05:30.to being moved to an open prison this evening, after

:05:31. > :05:37.In 2015 the then Justice Secretary Michael Gove blocked the move,
