:00:07. > :00:10.Good evening. for the news where you are.

:00:11. > :00:13.As we heard on the News at Ten tonight - for 18 months,

:00:14. > :00:15.people in west Sussex have been waiting to find out

:00:16. > :00:18.what went so horribly wrong at Shoreham Airshow that lead

:00:19. > :00:24.Sussex Police are now reviewing the Air Accident Investigations

:00:25. > :00:27.Branch report and the coroner has set a new date of 20th June

:00:28. > :00:31.That day in August 2015 left eleven families and a town devastated.

:00:32. > :00:43.Today Juliette Parkin went to speak to residents in Shoreham.

:00:44. > :00:50.Remembering those who lost their lives. The tragedy of August 2015

:00:51. > :00:56.will forever be part of this Shoreham community but today at

:00:57. > :01:01.least some answers. I think in the light of today's report, I think the

:01:02. > :01:10.response would be sadness with a mixture of anger. There's an element

:01:11. > :01:14.of anger. And given that do you think the airshow should retire and?

:01:15. > :01:20.My personal opinion is I don't think it will. I think we very quickly

:01:21. > :01:24.need of response from the police as to whether there will be a

:01:25. > :01:27.prosecution and if not it needs to be very transparently and fully

:01:28. > :01:31.explain to do everybody and after that the coroner can get on with her

:01:32. > :01:36.important work and the families can get some sort of closure. As the

:01:37. > :01:42.report findings were revealed today, people in the town gave us the

:01:43. > :01:46.reaction. It has confirmed people's worries about the airshow because

:01:47. > :01:51.they have always been there. I've got a feeling there won't be another

:01:52. > :01:57.in Shoreham. I can't see it happening because it brings the

:01:58. > :02:03.memories back again. It is still an everybody's minds and even the

:02:04. > :02:08.football teams still carry the memory of people affected. Among

:02:09. > :02:13.them, Worthing United. Two of their players died in the crash on their

:02:14. > :02:18.way to a match. Who would have thought that an aircraft involved in

:02:19. > :02:21.the display would crash? Absolutely unheard of and shouldn't have been

:02:22. > :02:28.allowed because he shouldn't have been flying over that road. We we

:02:29. > :02:33.have their names on our kit and they will always be remembered by us as

:02:34. > :02:37.great footballers and brilliant friends. Shortly after the disaster

:02:38. > :02:40.at the toll bridge became a focal point for an outpouring of emotion

:02:41. > :02:46.from the surrounding community and beyond. One local artist was so

:02:47. > :02:53.moved by what he saw he turned his grief into art. What touched me was

:02:54. > :02:59.the community coming together. I wanted to paint a picture that I

:03:00. > :03:01.could give to everybody involved. Such a feeling of love and support

:03:02. > :03:08.for all those who have lost friends and relatives. The town has

:03:09. > :03:13.gradually recovered. Obviously life has to go on. In response to the

:03:14. > :03:17.report the Shoreham year show organisers said it had been an

:03:18. > :03:21.important part of the community of 26 years. They said they had always

:03:22. > :03:26.worked hard to make sure the event was safe and successful and said the

:03:27. > :03:30.report will require further analysis and reflection. People here were

:03:31. > :03:35.divided on its future. This community it seems will never forget

:03:36. > :03:36.what happened here. The victims and their families very much in people's

:03:37. > :03:40.hearts and minds today. Eastbourne residents have been

:03:41. > :03:42.voting on a controversial scheme The borough council wants to put

:03:43. > :03:47.3,000 of the 4,000 acres of down land that it owns,

:03:48. > :03:50.up for sale as farms to raise But there have been

:03:51. > :03:57.protests against the plan. Head teachers of primary

:03:58. > :04:00.and secondary schools in East Sussex have united to campaign

:04:01. > :04:01.for more funding. They say budget cuts could mean

:04:02. > :04:04.shorter school weeks The county is also looking

:04:05. > :04:07.at joining with West Sussex, Essex and Cornwall heads

:04:08. > :04:28.in an attempt to secure more We are looking at cuts to the

:04:29. > :04:30.student experience, whether that is curriculum pastoral support to

:04:31. > :04:37.extracurricular activities right across the board. They will have to

:04:38. > :04:38.look at provisions that are the cause of great pride for students

:04:39. > :04:39.and parents. She claimed she needed oxygen

:04:40. > :04:42.to breathe and a wheelchair to go outside, but former civil servant

:04:43. > :04:44.Lisa White was enjoying luxury cruises with her husband funded

:04:45. > :04:47.by a ?152,000 benefit fraud. Investigators found footage

:04:48. > :04:49.of Mrs White dancing around the cafe Today she sobbed in court

:04:50. > :04:53.as she was jailed for 18 months - her husband got a nine

:04:54. > :04:55.month suspended sentence. This footage shows Lisa White

:04:56. > :05:16.singing and dancing. But qualifying for ?115

:05:17. > :05:18.of benefits each week, she'd told the council she couldn't

:05:19. > :05:20.walk without a stick. And needed an oxygen tank

:05:21. > :05:22.to regulate her breathing. She even told them she couldn't

:05:23. > :05:25.lift kitchen equipment, but was running a cafe

:05:26. > :05:26.in Broadstairs and I'm amazed she didn't get caught

:05:27. > :05:48.a lot sooner, to be honest. Although living and working

:05:49. > :05:58.in Thanet, she claimed she shared a council house with her mother

:05:59. > :06:08.in south London. Greenwich Council became suspicious

:06:09. > :06:10.because her husband, who is also her carer,

:06:11. > :06:12.was registered at an Surveillance carried out by fraud

:06:13. > :06:15.investigators proved conclusive. Her husband Andrew White was found

:06:16. > :06:17.guilty of aiding and abetting, but one former neighbour claims

:06:18. > :06:20.Mrs White had been very ill. She certainly deserved to be

:06:21. > :06:22.supported, and the reason they bought this in the first

:06:23. > :06:25.instance is that he thought Mrs White was jailed for 18 months,

:06:26. > :06:29.her husband received Will be here in a moment

:06:30. > :06:37.with the national weather forecast but first let's get the picture

:06:38. > :06:51.in the South East Good evening. A wet start for the

:06:52. > :06:53.day, a drier picture in the afternoon, first thing some rain and

:06:54. > :07:02.it brightens up by the afternoon. Feeling mild. Wet and windy by

:07:03. > :07:05.Sunday. We eventually see some scattered band that time is heavy

:07:06. > :07:12.and thundery showers. Overnight temperature as a result only

:07:13. > :07:15.dropping to around 6-7. Wet first thing but very quickly we see the

:07:16. > :07:20.rain eased eastwards and behind it some sunshine. The wind eases off

:07:21. > :07:26.and by the afternoon the temperature reaching a height of 9-10. As I

:07:27. > :07:29.mentioned, not blasting and at times wet and windy. Here is the outlook

:07:30. > :07:41.and a closer look Good evening, mixed fortunes this

:07:42. > :07:47.weekend. Today we saw a fair share of rain. This is the view one of our

:07:48. > :07:51.weather watchers in Doncaster. Not particularly inspiring. This weekend

:07:52. > :07:58.there will be some rain, but some of us will get away with a dry start.

:07:59. > :08:06.This is the satellite and a lovely day in northern Scotland. But cloud

:08:07. > :08:14.and rain and thunder and lightning in this area. Our main area of rain

:08:15. > :08:21.is stuck across Northern Ireland and Scotland. Some snow over higher

:08:22. > :08:22.ground. And windy. Four or five degrees in Glasgow and
