:07:42. > :07:44.in connection with an unsolved murder that's been under

:07:54. > :07:57.by police in raids in Essex Leonard Naylor was gunned

:07:58. > :08:04.down in broad daylight. His murder, 16 years ago,

:08:15. > :08:17.with this, one of Kent's most Neighbour, Faye Miller,

:08:18. > :08:29.was just 14 at the time. I remember going up and running

:08:30. > :08:32.upstairs and looking out the window and seeing the dead body

:08:33. > :08:34.on the floor. It's quite a big relief,

:08:35. > :08:37.just because you don't expect that Obviously you think things have been

:08:38. > :08:41.forgotten and it hasn't. Leonard Naylor had just returned

:08:42. > :08:43.home from visiting his father when he was shot on his driveway

:08:44. > :08:46.here in Istead Rise. The suspects' getaway car,

:08:49. > :08:52.Kent Police commander. Someone in that little process

:08:53. > :08:55.would have been hurt or aggrieved. And they bear grudges,

:08:56. > :08:57.they harbour grudges and eventually of course,

:08:58. > :08:59.they come out of the woodwork and Equally, as you know,

:09:00. > :09:08.DNA is taken on much, much different You could have got something out

:09:09. > :09:13.of that burnt out van you wouldn't It's not yet known what led

:09:14. > :09:18.to the arrests, police would not But it's understood

:09:19. > :09:22.three men from Essex A fourth man from East London

:09:23. > :09:27.has been charged with He was remanded in custody today

:09:28. > :09:32.to appear at Maidstone Crown Neighbours here told me

:09:33. > :09:37.they would never forget For them, relief today that at last

:09:38. > :09:43.the police investigation Piers Hopkirk, BBC South

:09:44. > :09:52.East Today, Istead Rise. But let me leave you with

:09:53. > :10:11.Rachel Mackley for the weather. A wet, windy but Malbay. Top

:10:12. > :10:17.temperatures were reaching highs of 12, 13 degrees. But it wasn't

:10:18. > :10:22.feeling particularly pleasant. The night, we will be holding onto a

:10:23. > :10:27.good deal of cloud. Seeing blustery, westerly winds and towards the early

:10:28. > :10:32.hours of tomorrow morning, further outbreaks of rain. A mild night.

:10:33. > :10:37.Overnight temperatures of nine or 10 degrees. Mild as we start the day.

:10:38. > :10:42.Any rain clears and it is a drier and brighter picture. By the

:10:48. > :10:51.perhaps 13 or 14 degrees. Average for this time of year is around

:10:52. > :10:56.seven or eight. Once again, very mild as we go from Thursday into

:10:57. > :10:58.Friday. Overnight temperatures of six or 7 degrees. Very similar day

:10:59. > :10:59.for Friday. This outlook, staying mild and Nick has

:11:00. > :11:08.the bigger picture across the UK. Hello. Spring is in the air with

:11:09. > :11:13.temperatures reaching 14 or 15 in a few spots today as they will again

:11:14. > :11:20.over the next few days. Very pleasant in the sun. The daffodils

:11:21. > :11:25.were loving that in York. More places under blue sky tomorrow and

:11:26. > :11:29.dry. Tonight heavy showers moving across Scotland on strong to gale

:11:30. > :11:33.force winds, some may clip Northern Ireland. It's a mild night in

:11:34. > :11:44.southern England and South Wales but damp and drizzly, misty with coastal

:11:45. > :11:49.and hill fog elsewhere. Temperatures in between and dry: This damp

:11:50. > :11:53.weather hangs on from parts of the Channel Islands, to Cornwall.

:11:54. > :11:55.Elsewhere, it's getting brighter in South Wales and southern England. In

:11:56. > :12:00.England, Wales and Northern Ireland some sunny spells around from the
