:01:25. > :01:29.the two together and say you are anti-coloured people.

:01:30. > :01:32.We're not anti-coloured people, we're anti-curry.

:01:33. > :01:37.Well, you would say that, wouldn't you, because that's your job.

:01:38. > :01:40.You obviously don't believe it, because...

:01:41. > :01:44.Your comments have been called disgusting.

:01:45. > :01:46.Well, that isn't the view shared by the majority

:01:47. > :01:52.The Equality Commission believes the ban is unlawful.

:01:53. > :01:55.Kent Police says it is looking to see if any

:01:56. > :01:58.It's certainly provoked a strong reaction.

:01:59. > :02:02.but I don't think he'll ever be able to buy back his soul.

:02:03. > :02:04.I think it's really shocking, actually.

:02:05. > :02:07.I think if you think back to the '60s and the first

:02:21. > :02:29.Everybody tries to protect their property.

:02:43. > :02:44.in addition to what he calls "coloured people".

:02:45. > :02:50.Because I am not objecting to coloured people.

:02:51. > :02:52.Part of your question you should have been asking me,

:02:53. > :02:56.was do you currently have any coloured people as tenants?

:02:57. > :03:02.Well, there's nothing to back down on, is there?

:03:03. > :03:06.At the end of the day, it's up to me who goes into my properties.

:03:07. > :03:10.You have no regrets saying no coloured people?

:03:11. > :03:17.Despite the backlash, he insists the ban will remain in place.

:03:18. > :03:19.Charlotte Wright has been looking into this.

:03:20. > :03:22.Charlotte, you've spoken to a lawyer tonight -

:03:23. > :03:28.can Mr Wilson be prosecuted over this?

:03:29. > :03:34.Well, there is legislation in place which makes discrimination on the

:03:35. > :03:38.basis of race and unlawful act. The lawyer spoke to this evening

:03:39. > :03:42.actually said Mr Wilson can be pursued in court over this. The

:03:43. > :03:47.Equality Act from 2010 has a number of it calls protected

:03:48. > :03:50.characteristics and among those of race and religion. Of a private

:03:51. > :03:54.landlord discriminates against someone on the basis of race or

:03:55. > :03:58.religion, they could be breaking the law. Simon mentioned the equality

:03:59. > :04:03.and human rights commission is looking into this. If it does seek

:04:04. > :04:06.legal action, Mr Wilson could face a massive multiparty claim in a county

:04:07. > :04:07.court, with serious financial consequences, should he lose.

:04:08. > :04:10.A man from Eastbourne who took pictures from the social media

:04:11. > :04:13.accounts of women he knew and uploaded them to a pornographic

:04:14. > :04:15.website has pleaded guilty to making offensive postings.

:04:16. > :04:19.36-year-old Oliver Whiting used social media images of two women,

:04:20. > :04:24.He admitted 11 offences at Hastings Magistrates Court

:04:25. > :04:29.Five different art works are to form part of a permanent

:04:34. > :04:38.11 men died when a Hawker Hunter jet crashed on the A27 in Sussex during

:04:39. > :04:43.The designs, which are in the very early stages, will honour

:04:44. > :04:46.the victims and their families, the first responders

:04:47. > :04:53.19 months after the disaster which claimed 11 lives,

:04:54. > :04:58.today, the first glimpse of plans for a permanent memorial.

:04:59. > :05:00.It's been created by Brighton artists Jane Ford

:05:01. > :05:09.A series of works to sit alongside the banks of the River Adur,

:05:10. > :05:12.designed in close consultation with the victims' families.

:05:13. > :05:15.We aim for this work to achieve a quiet contemplation

:05:16. > :05:19.of the river and the sense of peace that it offers.

:05:20. > :05:22.The memorial will be spread over five locations,

:05:23. > :05:26.including a sculpture dedicated to the first responders.

:05:27. > :05:30.A little further up the river, a tribute

:05:31. > :05:33.to the Shoreham community, in the form a landscaped area

:05:34. > :05:38.Then on the east side of the toll bridge,

:05:39. > :05:41.a series of 11 arches dedicated to each of the victims.

:05:42. > :05:45.People really like the fact that we've tried to create

:05:46. > :05:49.areas for people to go to to do their own grieving, really,

:05:50. > :05:55.The town's old toll bridge, a short distance from the crash site,

:05:56. > :06:01.Now, though, Shoreham will have a memorial for all time.

:06:02. > :06:04.Memorials are very important because I think when people

:06:05. > :06:07.want to remember, very often they need a place to go to,

:06:08. > :06:14.For people in the town it is a welcome focal point

:06:15. > :06:19.Even the children struggled with what happened, and I think

:06:20. > :06:22.it is right that there is a lasting memorial for people to go

:06:23. > :06:27.I think it is lovely and great and it is important to have

:06:28. > :06:33.Sussex Police's investigation into the crash is ongoing.

:06:34. > :06:36.Tonight, they said they hoped to submit a file of material

:06:37. > :06:39.to the Crown Prosecution Service in advance of the pre-inquest

:06:40. > :06:52.An NHS Trust has admitted a young man from Kent didn't receive

:06:53. > :06:54.appropriate treatment for the eating disorder which eventually

:06:55. > :06:58.Steven Brazier, from Minster on the Isle of Sheppey,

:06:59. > :07:01.was 19 stone when he started a healthy weight-loss programme -

:07:02. > :07:04.but his weight plummeted to just eight stone within two years

:07:05. > :07:13.Steven Brazier was so thin, he could barely walk.

:07:14. > :07:17.He had lost more than ten stone in just two years,

:07:18. > :07:21.after starting a diet to lose weight put on after breaking his leg.

:07:22. > :07:25.He just carried on until there was no off switch with him,

:07:26. > :07:29.Until there was virtually nothing of him, a fraction

:07:30. > :07:36.He would be at the end of his tether, basically, would say,

:07:37. > :07:38."I can't go on like this, Mum,

:07:39. > :07:42."And I have just had enough, I just want to die,"

:07:43. > :07:45.and hearing your son say that is really, really hard.

:07:46. > :07:48.The partnership trust sectioned Steven for his own safety

:07:49. > :07:51.and he was treated for more than a year at a specialist

:07:52. > :07:54.He seemed to have improved, so the trust decided

:07:55. > :08:01.I used to telephone the mental health people, they would tell me

:08:02. > :08:06.to ring the eating disorder service and it was just going backwards

:08:07. > :08:09.and forwards, nobody seemed to know who should be looking after him.

:08:10. > :08:12.In a statement, the trust accepts that communications

:08:13. > :08:15.between the services looking after Steven was not adequate.

:08:16. > :08:17.They say patients should expect a standard of service

:08:18. > :08:25.And they insist they have learned from the failings in Steven's case.

:08:26. > :08:27.He was just a skeleton with skin stretched over him.

:08:28. > :08:31.His teeth had all come out, and he'd just...

:08:32. > :08:34.I don't want anybody else to go through that.

:08:35. > :08:43.The trust have now reached a settlement with the Braziers.

:08:44. > :08:47.Brighton's i360 remains a "fantastic addition to the city,"

:08:48. > :08:50.that's the message this evening from the city council,

:08:51. > :08:53.as the troubled attraction reopened after the seventh incident since it

:08:54. > :08:58.It means the attraction has now lost 11 days of business

:08:59. > :09:01.John Young has been following this story.

:09:02. > :09:12.John, how significant could these embarrassing closures be now?

:09:13. > :09:20.Well, early, let's crunch some numbers. The attraction needs to

:09:21. > :09:23.pull in 350,000 visitors if it is going to be a success and if

:09:24. > :09:27.taxpayers aren't going to pick up a huge tab. So far, 300,000 through

:09:28. > :09:33.the door, so pretty much on target, but this is the problem, images like

:09:34. > :09:36.this that flashed around the world in September on what became one of

:09:37. > :09:41.five significant problems over the last eight months, when a temporary

:09:42. > :09:46.toilet had to be assembled, people stuck for over an hour on that

:09:47. > :09:49.occasion. So we asked the owners, give us some details on the numbers,

:09:50. > :09:53.how are they moving, up or down? They wouldn't give us that but said

:09:54. > :09:57.they were within target parameters. Prices go up by ?1 at the weekend

:09:58. > :09:58.but tomorrow it is back open, it is safe, it has been tested.

:09:59. > :10:01.In a moment, the national weather forecast,

:10:02. > :10:03.but, first, let's get the picture in the south-east

:10:04. > :10:13.Good evening. Well, today was cloudy but it stayed pile. Our top

:10:14. > :10:17.temperature was 16 degrees, and for tomorrow, there will be some

:10:18. > :10:21.sunshine and by afternoon, potentially, you could see highs of

:10:22. > :10:25.20 or 21. The average the time of year is ten or 11. Those are the

:10:26. > :10:30.sorts of values we are expecting to see as we head through tonight. More

:10:31. > :10:34.cloud at times, some drizzle but mostly dry and very mild as we start

:10:35. > :10:39.the day for Thursday. Cloud first thing but by the afternoon, it is

:10:40. > :10:42.going to be brightening up, a gentle southerly airflow, so temperatures

:10:43. > :10:47.along the coast perhaps a touch cooler but even there, very warm and

:10:48. > :10:54.a pleasant afternoon. Highs of 15 or 16 degrees. Further north,

:10:55. > :10:58.temperatures in the top teams. As we go from Thursday into Friday,

:10:59. > :10:59.overnight temperatures of nine or 10 degrees, more of the same after some

:11:00. > :11:06.rain first thing on Friday. far. The outlook for the next few

:11:07. > :11:09.days, temperatures coming down a bit but staying decent for this time of

:11:10. > :11:14.year. Here is Darren Bett with the national weather.

:11:15. > :11:20.The warm air coming up on a southerly breeze all the way from

:11:21. > :11:24.Iberia and across France into England and Wales. To achieve the

:11:25. > :11:28.high temperatures we need to get into some of this dryer air and

:11:29. > :11:31.sunshine. Even with the cloud today, 17 degrees. Not just about the

:11:32. > :11:35.temperatures, let's not forget there is some rain around as well. Quite

:11:36. > :11:40.wet in Pembrokeshire for much of the day. More rain overnight tonight,

:11:41. > :11:43.some rain and drizzle in northern and western areas. Wetter weather

:11:44. > :11:47.moving northwards across Scotland. Some rain in the south-west,

:11:48. > :11:51.shuffling towards the Midlands. Overnight, a lot of cloud around. It

:11:52. > :11:56.is going to be very mild indeed for the time of year, 11-12 in many

:11:57. > :11:58.parts of the country. This is an sunshine beginning to creep into the

:11:59. > :11:59.south-east early in the
