:00:23. > :00:24.stolen on a trip to her local shops

:00:25. > :00:27.says she was left so traumatised she thought she would die.

:00:28. > :00:28.Daisy Payne had just withdrawn her pension money

:00:29. > :00:32.from the post office in Whitehawk when it was taken from her purse.

:00:33. > :00:35.This is the moment 94-year-old Daisy Payne picked up ?600

:00:36. > :00:37.from her local post office in Whitehawk.

:00:38. > :00:41.She had been ill and hadn't been able to collect her

:00:42. > :00:44.Minutes later, the money had been stolen.

:00:45. > :00:46.I was sick. I kept crying.

:00:47. > :00:48.I have lost weight. I just wanted to die.

:00:49. > :00:52.Because the neighbours all round said they

:00:53. > :00:57.thought I was on my way out, I was so drawn

:00:58. > :01:03.and what with the worry, losing all that money.

:01:04. > :01:05.After leaving the post office, Daisy and her friend walked

:01:06. > :01:10.By the time they left there, the money had been taken.

:01:11. > :01:16.These people just prey on the older and the vulnerable

:01:17. > :01:27.I hope they rot in hell, whoever it is.

:01:28. > :01:30.I think whoever has done this does need the full force

:01:31. > :01:33.Local shopkeepers or so upset they have

:01:34. > :01:36.Devastation. Total devastation.

:01:37. > :01:38.She is the heart of this community and certainly

:01:39. > :01:41.has a special place in my heart and I felt something

:01:42. > :01:44.had to be done to let her know that we are all

:01:45. > :01:48.Daisy grew up here in Whitehawk and spent most of her

:01:49. > :01:51.life caring for her mother, who died at the age of 100.

:01:52. > :01:53.She is now extremely angry at the person who

:01:54. > :02:03.I don't want to meet them because I would be sorry

:02:04. > :02:13.Sussex Police say they are looking into the incident on the afternoon

:02:14. > :02:17.Daisy says she is determined not to lose her nerve

:02:18. > :02:19.over what happened as she doesn't want

:02:20. > :02:27.And since that report aired on our early evening news programme

:02:28. > :02:33.we have had lots of calls and offers to help Daisy Payne,

:02:34. > :02:36.we'll be passing on all those good wishes to Daisy.

:02:37. > :02:39.South East MEP and former Ukip leader Nigel Farage says he intends

:02:40. > :02:41.to use his platform in Europe to convince people there

:02:42. > :02:44.they should support a good deal for Britain during Brexit.

:02:45. > :02:47.Last night Mr Farage confirmed that he won't be standing

:02:48. > :02:52.Speaking on this programme earlier tonight he said he thought

:02:53. > :02:56.he'd be more useful campaigning on the continent.

:02:57. > :02:59.There's been a dramatic increase in the number of men in Kent seeking

:03:00. > :03:04.The Release The Pressure campaign was launched in response to figures

:03:05. > :03:09.revealing that suicide is the leading killer of men under 45.

:03:10. > :03:22.Charlie Rose speaks to one man who reached out.

:03:23. > :03:29.Mike Stubbs calls this song Pain No More.

:03:30. > :03:37.He says making it gave him the therapy

:03:38. > :03:39.he needed to cope with his mental health issues.

:03:40. > :03:44.Coming out of hospital after a suicide attempt and

:03:45. > :03:46.being at complete rock bottom, you know,

:03:47. > :03:48.I really wanted to write something passionate and meaningful

:03:49. > :03:52.I kind of just put it online to show my friends

:03:53. > :03:58.It got shared so many times all over the world and I was getting fan mail

:03:59. > :04:00.in the hundreds daily just from people

:04:01. > :04:02.who also suffer from mental health and depression.

:04:03. > :04:05.And it really did make you want to continue on

:04:06. > :04:13.A campaign aimed at ending male suicide in Kent has seen

:04:14. > :04:17.more than 6,500 men call a special helpline in the past year.

:04:18. > :04:21.It comes after Prince Harry revealed he sought help after not thinking

:04:22. > :04:27.And the Duke of Cambridge said the British stiff upper lip

:04:28. > :04:30.should not be allowed to endanger mental help.

:04:31. > :04:33.I've seen a number of sad situations that come from suicides

:04:34. > :04:37.particularly and self harm, and I think it is just a tragedy

:04:38. > :04:44.And for Mike, it is also the social side of making music which has been

:04:45. > :04:53.As it has helped others, it has fed him and inspired him to do more.

:04:54. > :04:55.Newly married and with a record label interested

:04:56. > :05:02.in his music, these are better times for Mike Stubbs.

:05:03. > :05:05.Football now and it hasn't quite gone to plan

:05:06. > :05:08.for Brighton and Hove Albion tonight.

:05:09. > :05:11.They lost 2-0 to Norwich in their latest Championship match.

:05:12. > :05:14.Our reporter Ian Palmer is live in Norwich now.

:05:15. > :05:30.Well, it wasn't all that bad when you think about it. Brighton scored

:05:31. > :05:38.twice but they were both own goals off the back of keeper David

:05:39. > :05:45.Stockdale. It didn't help matters that they came from Ian Prichard who

:05:46. > :05:49.Brighton were keen on signing early in the season. But when I spoke to

:05:50. > :06:00.fans after, they said they didn't care. It doesn't matter. Where still

:06:01. > :06:08.going up. Where happy, where calm. It was all right. A day out. I'm

:06:09. > :06:19.still hungover. Ever so hungover from Monday. When you think about

:06:20. > :06:26.it, the last time these two sides met, Brighton won 5-0 against

:06:27. > :06:29.Norwich. It is the vagaries of the championship, so difficult to get

:06:30. > :06:35.out of this league and they have got out of it. The next chance they have

:06:36. > :06:37.to be the official champions is against Bristol city a week

:06:38. > :06:39.tomorrow. That's it from me, the national

:06:40. > :06:42.weather forecast in a moment but first let's get the picture

:06:43. > :06:54.in the South East with Nina Ridge. Quite a bit of cloud at the moment.

:06:55. > :07:02.We might keep that cloud throughout the morning. It's not really until

:07:03. > :07:07.Sunday that we start to see something a little bit brighter with

:07:08. > :07:12.more sunshine on the way. It's not going to be particularly cold

:07:13. > :07:19.tomorrow morning. We can see one or two showers scattered around. A bit

:07:20. > :07:23.of cloud, a bit of rain here and there. That weather front bringing

:07:24. > :07:29.the rain is clearing away to the south-east. Try and brighter through

:07:30. > :07:30.the afternoon. It won't be as mild as today.

:07:31. > :07:36.marathon. Here is the outlook for the weather for the next few days

:07:37. > :07:41.and Helen Willetts has the National forecast.

:07:42. > :07:51.While unusual to see snow in May, it will be a shock to the system. We've

:07:52. > :07:55.seen some interesting contrast. 19 degrees cost is in Scotland in the

:07:56. > :08:02.sunshine today. In the sunshine only 11. The differences we are behind a

:08:03. > :08:06.cold weather front. Seeing a stepped down in temperatures. The cold air

:08:07. > :08:10.filtering sound so there will be a widespread ground frost across the

:08:11. > :08:17.country. The week weather front still with us so we could cheat

:08:18. > :08:20.patchy mist and fog. The best chance of seeing the meteor shower

:08:21. > :08:24.overnight will be in those clear skies further north. A better chance

:08:25. > :08:27.for south overnight. We start Saturday morning with the line of

:08:28. > :08:29.cloud, the weather front from Northern Ireland through Wales, the

:08:30. > :08:30.Midlands coming
