:00:00. > :00:12.The dawn raids to tackle organised gangs dealing

:00:13. > :00:18.Also: the motorist who was using his mobile phone

:00:19. > :00:21.when he killed another driver on the A34.

:00:22. > :00:30.Glasses for classes. A new route for teaching at the textbook's thrown

:00:31. > :00:38.out. Police have arrested

:00:39. > :00:50.22 people in a major operation to tackle organised drug

:00:51. > :00:52.dealing in Oxfordshire. In a series of dawn raids police

:00:53. > :00:55.targeted almost 40 homes in Oxford, Operation Stronghold,

:00:56. > :00:58.as it's called, is aiming to stop drugs coming into the county

:00:59. > :01:00.from the capital. Organised policing

:01:01. > :01:08.tackling organised crime. This Oxford address

:01:09. > :01:11.is one of 37 raided by Thames Valley Police in Oxford,

:01:12. > :01:14.Abingdon and London this morning. 180 officers were involved

:01:15. > :01:16.in what the force is calling The start of a campaign to stop

:01:17. > :01:33.the flow of Class A drugs We've made some really good arrests

:01:34. > :01:38.today. That'll have a deterrent impact on the people dealing drugs

:01:39. > :01:42.in the city. One of the things we'll look at is working with partners to

:01:43. > :01:46.protect vulnerable people. We want to target key locations any future

:01:47. > :01:48.that we know these groups have operated in. We want to make it very

:01:49. > :01:49.difficult for them to come back. Detectives say gangs

:01:50. > :01:52.from the capital come to the county These locations, the police say,

:01:53. > :02:08.are often the homes We have criminal that often operates

:02:09. > :02:12.through the London area who send runners out into the counties,

:02:13. > :02:16.dealing drugs in our area. These operations are very organised and

:02:17. > :02:21.they target vulnerable people, probably the most honourable people

:02:22. > :02:23.in our DVDs. An obviously a real threat to local policing of the

:02:24. > :02:25.area. -- communities. Police are continuing

:02:26. > :02:27.to patrol in the areas where the raids took place this

:02:28. > :02:30.morning in an effort The force says there will be similar

:02:31. > :02:34.operations in the future to stop drugs gangs operating in the Thames

:02:35. > :02:39.Valley. Two men and a 17-year-old boy have

:02:40. > :02:42.been charged with the murder of a Canadian man whose body has

:02:43. > :02:45.been found in Milton Keynes. Police were called to

:02:46. > :02:49.Great Linford early on Saturday morning where the body of 32-year

:02:50. > :02:52.old Suren Sivananthan was found. The three have appeared before

:02:53. > :02:55.magistrates this morning. A 23-year-old man is

:02:56. > :02:58.still in police custody. Thames Valley Police's response

:02:59. > :03:00.to the death has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints

:03:01. > :03:09.Commission. A motorist from Oxford has pleaded

:03:10. > :03:12.guilty to causing death by dangerous driving after he was distracted

:03:13. > :03:14.by using his mobile phone. Lewis Stratford veered

:03:15. > :03:20.across the central reservation near East Ilsley last

:03:21. > :03:22.summer killing 28-year-old Gavin Today, Reading Crown Court heard

:03:23. > :03:25.how he'd made several It was in the late in the evening

:03:26. > :03:35.of Saturday 11th of June when Lewis Stratford seen

:03:36. > :03:37.here entering court today was going southbound

:03:38. > :03:39.on the A34 near East Ilsley. Over a 35-minute period, he was said

:03:40. > :03:42.to be speeding and to have made It was on the third of these

:03:43. > :03:47.that he lost control of his car and crashed through the central

:03:48. > :03:48.reservation That car was being driven by

:03:49. > :03:52.28-year-old Australian Gavin Roberts He was on his way to

:03:53. > :03:59.work for Network Rail. Mr Roberts was taken

:04:00. > :04:01.to the John Radcliffe Hospital but died of his injuries

:04:02. > :04:03.four days later. Following his death,

:04:04. > :04:17.Gavin's girlfriend Meg I was due to wake him up at home on

:04:18. > :04:20.Sunday morning and I just wanted to turn back the clock. I wanted to

:04:21. > :04:29.stop him from going to work on Saturday night. It genuinely didn't

:04:30. > :04:36.feel real, sitting at his bedside. As much as the machines were keeping

:04:37. > :04:43.him alive, he was still warm and he still looked like Gavin because,

:04:44. > :04:48.head to terror, all you looked like was just a bruise and on his right

:04:49. > :04:50.eye and the rest of him is perfect. -- all it looked like.

:04:51. > :04:53.The defence argued that Stratford had not been holding his phone

:04:54. > :04:57.They it was in a cradle attached to his dashboard but admitted it

:04:58. > :05:00.Representatives from Thames Valley Police

:05:01. > :05:02.were also in court today, with the force keen to stress

:05:03. > :05:12.When we do a live at these scenes, people expect you have mobile phones

:05:13. > :05:17.seized if we believe they have been utilised at the time immediately

:05:18. > :05:21.preceding a collision. We seize the fans and download the information

:05:22. > :05:26.kept on that phone to try and interpret whether it was in use and

:05:27. > :05:34.Rusev been a factor in time of the collision. -- and acute higher bean.

:05:35. > :05:35.-- could have been. Stratford has been

:05:36. > :05:37.disqualified from driving He will be sentenced next month

:05:38. > :05:41.and has been told a custodial A group of mothers campaigning

:05:42. > :05:45.to save a family drop in centre in Oxford have held a protest

:05:46. > :05:46.outside Oxfordshire Donnington Doorstep says it's

:05:47. > :05:50.had to cut its sessions from six days a week to just one

:05:51. > :05:53.after the council ended its contract and ?60,000 a year

:05:54. > :05:55.funding last year. The county council says it's putting

:05:56. > :05:58.in place a brand new children's service based around a network

:05:59. > :06:00.of Children and Family Centres in Blackbird Leys,

:06:01. > :06:05.Barton and Rosehill. Meanwhile the meeting

:06:06. > :06:07.inside approved plans to stop funding all but eight of Oxfordshire

:06:08. > :06:11.county council's day care centres. The council currently runs 22

:06:12. > :06:14.centres for older people and those with learning disabilities -

:06:15. > :06:16.the change will help save more There's been opposition to the plans

:06:17. > :06:21.but the council says it will still support those

:06:22. > :06:25.who need it. Bethan Phillips was

:06:26. > :06:28.at today's meeting. Bethan, once again,

:06:29. > :06:30.this is all about trying with rising demand and shrinking

:06:31. > :06:35.pots of money from The plan voted through today

:06:36. > :06:39.will mean funding's withdrawn from 14 centres for older people

:06:40. > :06:42.and those with learning disabilities - leaving eight,

:06:43. > :06:45.based in our bigger towns. There was a lot of concern expressed

:06:46. > :06:50.about that at the meeting today - a Lib Dem councillor described

:06:51. > :06:52.it as "chipping away" There were also worries

:06:53. > :06:55.about rural areas missing out. So, is this just about

:06:56. > :06:57.the council-run day centres? No, this will also affect things

:06:58. > :07:00.like lunch clubs and other volunteer-run services that get some

:07:01. > :07:02.county council funding. Overall, those grants are being

:07:03. > :07:05.reduced by more than half by 2020 - raising fears some services

:07:06. > :07:07.will face an uncertain future. The county council says three

:07:08. > :07:10.quarters of those voluntary services And it has invested an extra

:07:11. > :07:16.?875,000 to help charities But while services are being cut,

:07:17. > :07:26.we also had a tax rise That's right - the budget

:07:27. > :07:29.was voted through cabinet. That includes a rise of almost

:07:30. > :07:32.5% in council tax - A big chunk of that increase

:07:33. > :07:37.will specifically be set aside One of the councillors said

:07:38. > :07:40.at the meeting today that was the cost of half a cup

:07:41. > :07:43.of Costa Coffee per week for the average household -

:07:44. > :07:46.he said it was worth it, when the council's got the job

:07:47. > :07:48.of looking after vulnerable people. Drivers at Oxford Bus Company

:07:49. > :07:52.are being balloted over The Unite union says

:07:53. > :07:55.there is a complete breakdown in industrial relations -

:07:56. > :07:58.they are in dispute with the company about pay, disciplinary procedures

:07:59. > :08:01.and a proposed new holiday policy. Oxford Bus Company says it's seeking

:08:02. > :08:04.to reach a resolution and is willing Staff and students at

:08:05. > :08:12.Oxford Brookes University are hoping to benefit from a government

:08:13. > :08:15.pledge to invest an extra ?2 billion a year into

:08:16. > :08:16.research and development. They showed off their work

:08:17. > :08:19.in the robotics laboratory to the chair of the MP's Science

:08:20. > :08:21.and Technology Committee. Robot Tai Chi - just one display

:08:22. > :08:32.on show for MP Stephen Metcalfe on his tour of Oxford Brookes

:08:33. > :08:35.University. This was a chance for

:08:36. > :08:38.the chair of the Science and Technology Committee to see some

:08:39. > :08:50.of tomorrow's technology today... It's really important that

:08:51. > :08:54.universities and particularly scientists in universities have good

:08:55. > :08:56.connection with Government, which will open the way for future

:08:57. > :09:01.development and funding sources. to racing in the University's

:09:02. > :09:05.purpose-built engineering facility. Students here hope they'll benefit

:09:06. > :09:07.from an extra ?2 billion a year of Government funding

:09:08. > :09:17.for research and development. Oxford Brookes is in the perfect

:09:18. > :09:24.location, write any heart of the Valley, teaching hands on experience

:09:25. > :09:25.with the theory to back it up. It's a good development stage. It takes

:09:26. > :09:26.you through all the steps. students are taught about artificial

:09:27. > :09:41.intelligence, a robots ability Hello. Hello. You'll like what

:09:42. > :09:47.experience will you be taking away with you today? Apart from having

:09:48. > :09:51.the opportunity to sit in a Formula 1 car, I will take some information

:09:52. > :09:51.back to Parliament about where this technology is heading.

:09:52. > :09:53.The Robotics team has now applied for funding

:09:54. > :09:56.for its next project, and now have all eyes

:09:57. > :10:01.on the Government to help fund many more.

:10:02. > :10:04.This week, we're looking at the life saving work carried out

:10:05. > :10:10.at the Oxford Children's Hospital as it marks its ten-year anniversary.

:10:11. > :10:12.Tonight, we meet four-year-old Alan, from Banbury.

:10:13. > :10:14.Last year, Alan was diagnosed with blood cancer.

:10:15. > :10:16.But after two months in hospital, including several rounds

:10:17. > :10:18.of chemotherapy, he is now back at nursery.

:10:19. > :10:28.A chance to play with his friends and enjoying himself.

:10:29. > :10:35.Up until last September, he was a healthy,

:10:36. > :10:40.But when Alan's stomach swelled up and he had trouble

:10:41. > :10:43.breathing, his parents took him to the doctor in Banbury.

:10:44. > :10:49.Within days, Alan was in intensive care at the children's hospital.

:10:50. > :10:54.He made no fuss about anything that was done to him, which is amazing

:10:55. > :10:59.considering some of the things he went through. Some of the side

:11:00. > :11:02.effect of the first two rounds of chemotherapy for him were

:11:03. > :11:06.horrendous. I think a grown adult would probably drive and blue

:11:07. > :11:17.stations at some of them but no, he didn't. -- would probably cry and

:11:18. > :11:19.lose patience. As Alan fought for his life,

:11:20. > :11:22.family life was turned upside down for his parents and older brother,

:11:23. > :11:27.David. The worst thing is that we didn't

:11:28. > :11:31.spend any time as a family for much of that time, he spent nine weeks in

:11:32. > :11:35.hospital and one of us was with informative that time. -- with him

:11:36. > :11:36.for most of. His mum has no doubt

:11:37. > :11:38.the commitment of staff at the children's hospital went

:11:39. > :11:41.a long way towards saving her son. Friends and parents at Alan's

:11:42. > :11:51.nursery group in Banbury also Alan is one of ours. He is part of

:11:52. > :11:56.the nursery family, said a lot of the families here now Alan and his

:11:57. > :11:59.family. It was really important for them to feel like they were doing

:12:00. > :12:04.something to help. It's wonderful to have him back. We are really pleased

:12:05. > :12:10.to see him do what a four-year old should be doing. It our wills, isn't

:12:11. > :12:16.it? Allen is still here when asked and back to normal. We did see that,

:12:17. > :12:24.quite early in the treatment that he was coming back. -- world. -- Alan.

:12:25. > :12:26.There are periods where he was unrecognisable what we are hoping

:12:27. > :12:28.there is only good times to come. Alan's mother ending that

:12:29. > :12:31.report by Jeremy Stern. 50 years old and still growing -

:12:32. > :12:37.Milton Keynes is one of the fastest But what will it look

:12:38. > :12:40.like in another 50 years? In the second of our reports,

:12:41. > :12:52.Stuart Ratcliffe looks Milton Keynes disguised as

:12:53. > :12:59.Metropolis. Its futuristic building selected to double as Clark Kent's

:13:00. > :13:02.home city. 30 years on from Superman's flying visit and Milton

:13:03. > :13:10.Keynes has grown into its own mini metropolis. But in the next day STS,

:13:11. > :13:15.how will that continue? The discussion is that Milton Keynes has

:13:16. > :13:21.a wonderful pattern of grid squares. -- next 30 years. Well that keep

:13:22. > :13:29.growing on to redraw the stops and have some other towns a little

:13:30. > :13:33.different now a? -- do we draw borders. I think Milton Keynes has

:13:34. > :13:44.spread far and off. We should have thought it sounds. -- daughter

:13:45. > :13:47.towns. These areas could follow. The main thing is transport. An idea

:13:48. > :13:54.supported by many Milton Keynes businesses. Crucially, the growth

:13:55. > :14:00.continues hair and is accelerated. I think there is a challenge in

:14:01. > :14:04.accelerating the pace of building new housing. There are site

:14:05. > :14:09.allocated but it's been a building that housing and making that

:14:10. > :14:15.affordable for the local population. Across town and a very different

:14:16. > :14:22.business. We are here -- where here they have the Milton Keynes' future

:14:23. > :14:28.is far higher education. One of our games and is the shortage of

:14:29. > :14:34.semiskilled labour. -- one of our concerns. We need access to a good

:14:35. > :14:38.rule of trained people. There is a concern living/ they still get

:14:39. > :14:47.access to that. Because of its success in your last 50 years,

:14:48. > :14:48.expectations about how it grows is understandably high. The question

:14:49. > :14:49.is, how will it deliver? I'll have the headlines at 8pm

:14:50. > :14:54.and a full bulletin at 10.30pm. Now, more of today's

:14:55. > :14:59.stories with Sally Taylor. Later tonight, riding the rough

:15:00. > :15:10.ground ? it's cross country on two wheels as we discover

:15:11. > :15:25.the sport of cyclocross. It is often said that you can't

:15:26. > :15:28.learn everything from a textbook, yet bringing learning to live is a

:15:29. > :15:32.challenge for every teacher in every subject in every school.

:15:33. > :15:35.Now, it's not been a normal school day for pupils at one

:15:36. > :15:38.They've been taking part in a virtual reality trial

:15:39. > :15:40.with Google which could change the way some lessons are taught.

:15:41. > :15:45.Today rather than studying pictures and diagrams youngsters took a

:15:46. > :15:53.journey inside the human body. Sofia Seth report. It is a lesson like no

:15:54. > :15:56.other. The pupils at Hayling College and normally allowed to use

:15:57. > :15:59.smartphones on cars but this is different. They're using them to

:16:00. > :16:04.tour the heart and circularity system. Teachers contacted Google

:16:05. > :16:10.provided the phones, headsets and free learning apps for a date. This

:16:11. > :16:12.allows them to leave the clash and go somewhere they would not get the

:16:13. > :16:19.opportunity to at this stage of their school career. We can ask them

:16:20. > :16:26.what didn't feel like and pussy like and get debate and analysis and a

:16:27. > :16:31.conversation from that -- it is the same every lesson and sometimes you

:16:32. > :16:36.start to concentrate, but when you are doing this, it is much easier.

:16:37. > :16:40.It helped me because I could see it and actually look at different

:16:41. > :16:42.things and the comparison between the two things and I think it is

:16:43. > :16:49.really clever and easy to understand. Other lessons include

:16:50. > :16:52.history and eight tour of the virtual World War I trench as well

:16:53. > :16:55.as a spectacular view of the Northern lights. While virtual

:16:56. > :16:59.reality doesn't mean the end of the school trip its capacity to take

:17:00. > :17:06.lessons of the classroom could certainly be a useful tool.

:17:07. > :17:12.I think it would have been somewhat better at biology if I had the

:17:13. > :17:18.opportunity to do that. But better than those diagrams! On to sport.

:17:19. > :17:27.Big football matches tonight. I always love this time, I get to all

:17:28. > :17:37.the team news and we get pictures and things, via several social media

:17:38. > :17:39.platforms as we look towards the football tonight.

:17:40. > :17:42.Both the region's Championship sides go for crucial points in the race

:17:43. > :17:47.Reading can go third if they win a game which was abandoned at half

:17:48. > :17:51.We'll be at the Mad Stad in a moment.

:17:52. > :17:53.Meanwhile Brighton could reclaim top spot if they beat Cardiff.

:17:54. > :17:55.Johnny Cantor is watching at the Amex.

:17:56. > :17:57.Johnny, Brighton had a great win against Sheffield

:17:58. > :17:59.Wednesday on Friday night - are Albion fans really

:18:00. > :18:07.Yes, with certainly Albion and Newcastle playing a game of Caesar

:18:08. > :18:11.at the top of the championship but the most important gap is between

:18:12. > :18:15.Britain and third place which could grow from eight points to 11

:18:16. > :18:20.tonight. It won't be easy. Cardiff have won all three of their league

:18:21. > :18:21.games in 2017 and they are without top scorer Glenn Murray who is

:18:22. > :18:29.suspended. From automatic promotion

:18:30. > :18:31.contenders in Brighton The Royals have lost their last two

:18:32. > :18:35.games and face a big match tonight against a Fulham side four points

:18:36. > :18:38.below them in the table. Former Reading captain

:18:39. > :18:40.and BBC Radio Berkshire sports presenter Ady Williams

:18:41. > :18:42.is at the Madejski stadium. Ady, is the promotion

:18:43. > :18:58.charge stalling? I hope not. As you rightly say, two

:18:59. > :19:02.defeats on the bounce, last time that happened was back in August.

:19:03. > :19:05.Big for both teams. Full am looking to get into the top six and if they

:19:06. > :19:11.win they close the gap and if Reading get the victory tonight, it

:19:12. > :19:15.increases the gap. A little blip in the season but it has been great for

:19:16. > :19:20.Reading. Yup stand in charge. Fingers crossed a home win tonight.

:19:21. > :19:24.TI go should make his home debut but will there be other new faces and we

:19:25. > :19:31.still don't know what is going on behind the scenes there. He played

:19:32. > :19:35.at the weekend, but a perfect debut conceding three goals at Derby but

:19:36. > :19:39.we expect him to start tonight. Not long left niqabs Rwanda. We have

:19:40. > :19:45.been trying at racetrack. Gareth McLeary is the top scorer. Eight

:19:46. > :19:52.league goals. And the other has got seven. Hopefully before the window

:19:53. > :19:58.closes we will bring a striker in. Full live commentary this evening

:19:59. > :20:00.and news from both grounds at 10:30pm tonight.

:20:01. > :20:02.A new year brings new resolutions and, let's be honest,

:20:03. > :20:06.Here's a sport for those of you who like to get out

:20:07. > :20:09.on your bike, but maybe don't want to hit the roads.

:20:10. > :20:11.Cyclocross is an off-road version of cycle racing,

:20:12. > :20:14.This winter's Wessex League competition is about to

:20:15. > :20:16.reach its conclusion, so maybe this will whet your

:20:17. > :20:31.More pedal power than park run, these cyclo-cross events are for

:20:32. > :20:35.those aged seven to 70. The Wessex league season concludes this month

:20:36. > :20:38.and this was one of 12 races in the series. There is a competitive edge,

:20:39. > :20:44.but for many it is a recreational pursuit. The easiest cyclist sport

:20:45. > :20:53.to get into, because it is off-road and it is great fun. It is from half

:20:54. > :20:57.an hour to an hour, the lovers around the circuit, woodland,

:20:58. > :21:03.grassland, mud, banking is, but obstacles. It is great fun. Pretty

:21:04. > :21:08.intense. This year the series has visited Reading, Oxford, Swindon and

:21:09. > :21:12.this event in Southampton. Each club is really friendly so there are lots

:21:13. > :21:17.of wives and kids and families and it is a nice day out when the sun is

:21:18. > :21:20.out. My dad was persuading me and they said they didn't really want to

:21:21. > :21:25.do it because I was thinking I don't have the right clothes or bike but

:21:26. > :21:27.is now a realise that is a bit silly. My brother wanted to do it,

:21:28. > :21:44.so then I followed with him. He did well. He came off twice,

:21:45. > :21:51.first lap, and then quite a long way back up so it was all right. I came

:21:52. > :21:55.off as well. A great sense of achievement to see so many people

:21:56. > :22:03.with smiles on their faces enjoying the outdoors as families and being

:22:04. > :22:07.active. Well done to everyone who has taken part this year. That looks

:22:08. > :22:07.good. Corhampton Golf Club's Scott Gregory

:22:08. > :22:10.has been named in the Great Britain and Ireland squad for

:22:11. > :22:12.the Walker Cup, the amateur The 22-year-old, who played in

:22:13. > :22:16.the Australian Amateur Championship, last week is the British champion

:22:17. > :22:18.and, having played at the Open Championship in 2016,

:22:19. > :22:21.will also compete in this year's US The Walker Cup is in

:22:22. > :22:35.Los Angeles in September. Very well done to Scott. Another

:22:36. > :22:38.great achievement for him. Ever felt you want to give it up and do

:22:39. > :22:39.something different? Seven years ago, Clive

:22:40. > :22:42.and Lisa Orchard quit the rat race to take over a modest bed

:22:43. > :22:44.and breakfast in Dorset. Their only aim was to make sure

:22:45. > :22:47.their guests enjoyed their stay. Well, they're certainly

:22:48. > :22:49.doing something right - because for the second

:22:50. > :22:51.time their B in West Lulworth has been named the best,

:22:52. > :22:59.not just in Dorset, not just in England - but the best

:23:00. > :23:02.in the world by guests who've posted That puts them ahead of B

:23:03. > :23:06.in Florida and Italy. David Allard's been

:23:07. > :23:13.to find out their secret. It is a bitterly cold day in Dorset

:23:14. > :23:23.but this place is the warmest welcome in the world. And that is

:23:24. > :23:28.official. There are quite a few e-mails coming in. Clive and Lisa

:23:29. > :23:30.orchards say they are amazed to have been named the best

:23:31. > :23:36.bed-and-breakfast on the planet for the second time. It means a lot. It

:23:37. > :23:42.means our guests have thanked us for their state. We were very shocked

:23:43. > :23:46.but very happy obviously. What we're both doing before you decided to

:23:47. > :23:52.move down to Dorset and open a B? We had a surf shop and I was the

:23:53. > :23:58.shop girl at the beginning of that. I was working in datacoms up near

:23:59. > :24:02.Reading and we sold the shop and the datacoms business and we chose a

:24:03. > :24:07.bed-and-breakfast as being a nice lifestyle. This room is the Thomas

:24:08. > :24:10.Hardy Rim... From the reviews on the TripAdvisor it is clear this B

:24:11. > :24:15.offers more than just clean sheets and a full English. We think Dorset

:24:16. > :24:20.is beautiful so it is not difficult to show that was people. When I was

:24:21. > :24:26.six or seven my eldest sister Cynthia taught me to swim in this

:24:27. > :24:31.area, so we went for that reason and I think that makes it really

:24:32. > :24:36.personal. So you won the award in 2014 and now 2017, two years in

:24:37. > :24:45.between, what went wrong? We relaxed! We genuinely just think of

:24:46. > :24:48.the bed and breakfast as an extension of ourselves anyway. That

:24:49. > :24:52.was our commitment when we started, just to be ourselves and welcome

:24:53. > :24:58.people to share the area. Whatever their secret it has sent them to the

:24:59. > :25:06.top of the world's favourite B destinations.

:25:07. > :25:11.Congratulations to them. They will be inundated. Onto the weather. Fog,

:25:12. > :25:11.fog, Chris Proudfoot photographed

:25:12. > :25:20.the morning frost in the New Forest. Maureen Coles took this picture of

:25:21. > :25:24.the fog in Portsmouth from Gosport. And Martin Dolan captured a fog bow

:25:25. > :25:37.near Corfe Castle in Dorset. Fog formed in a very similar way to

:25:38. > :25:41.rainbows with tiny water droplets. Overnight tonight we expect further

:25:42. > :25:47.mistimed freezing fog patches again and the risk of ice which is why the

:25:48. > :25:52.Met Office has issued a fog and ice warning during the early hours and

:25:53. > :25:57.up until lunchtime tomorrow. Possible disruption to travel. Dense

:25:58. > :26:00.fog patches will form in the usual spots and temperatures tonight will

:26:01. > :26:04.follow way to around minus four Celsius in the countryside is. These

:26:05. > :26:09.are in our towns and cities dropping down to minus one in some areas.

:26:10. > :26:12.Misty and foggy start to the day tomorrow. Widespread frost. Freezing

:26:13. > :26:18.fog patches may linger throughout the morning which is why the Met

:26:19. > :26:22.Office warning is in place. Ice is a risk and untreated services.

:26:23. > :26:26.Tomorrow a good deal of cloud, the best of the sun shine through parts

:26:27. > :26:31.of Dorset and West Wiltshire with temperatures tomorrow reaching a

:26:32. > :26:34.high of 5-7 C. Further clubs tomorrow night but where there are

:26:35. > :26:38.clear skies and the chance of a widespread frost first thing on

:26:39. > :26:42.Thursday morning and maybe one or two freezing fog patches but they

:26:43. > :26:46.won't be as widespread as last night and tonight. Temperatures tomorrow

:26:47. > :26:52.night around minus one Celsius. A frosty start on Thursday. That

:26:53. > :26:56.starts fairly cloudy but we are expecting some drier and clear air

:26:57. > :27:00.to move in from the near continent bringing some sunshine through the

:27:01. > :27:03.afternoon after a frosty start. Temperatures on Thursday will reach

:27:04. > :27:06.a height of four or five Celsius but with the strength of the very cold

:27:07. > :27:12.south-easterly wind it will feel more like freezing with the wind

:27:13. > :27:16.chill. A cold day on Thursday and a cold day also on Friday although

:27:17. > :27:21.earning less cold through Friday and into the weekend. A lot of cloud

:27:22. > :27:25.over the next few days. Cloud breaking up on Thursday. Cloudy on

:27:26. > :27:31.Friday with patchy rain and of the weekend mainly cloudy but one or two

:27:32. > :27:37.bright spells. That is it from us. Kris Temple is at Anfield for the

:27:38. > :27:42.Saints match tomorrow night. Good luck Oxford against Bradford as well

:27:43. > :27:55.in the lower League Cup competition. More at 8pm and 10:30pm, good night.

:27:56. > :27:57.You might get the impression that history is just a record

:27:58. > :28:04.Very often, the line between fact and fiction

:28:05. > :28:11.In this series, I'm exploring how three turning points in our history

:28:12. > :28:24.have been manipulated to become our greatest historical legends.

:28:25. > :28:29.I want to be entertained. Entertain me.

:28:30. > :28:33.It's the last chance to impress the judges.
