:01:23. > :01:25.racist allegations were made against him by a black female
:01:26. > :01:31.colleague last year. At this stage we can't name
:01:32. > :01:36.the woman for legal reasons but she was working as a special
:01:37. > :01:39.investigator within his team. At the time, she was only black
:01:40. > :01:44.person in the department and we heard both she and Andrew Mottau had
:01:45. > :01:48.known each other for over 20 years. This afternoon we've been hearing
:01:49. > :01:53.details about how tea-making duties were divided up between team
:01:54. > :01:55.members last Summer. It's claimed Detective Sergeant
:01:56. > :01:59.Andrew Mottau had introduced a black toy monkey about
:02:00. > :02:03.the size of a key ring as a prop to signal whose turn
:02:04. > :02:07.it was to make tea and coffee. After returning to work
:02:08. > :02:10.following leave, the black investigator said on her first day
:02:11. > :02:13.back to work last August, without any explanation,
:02:14. > :02:18.the toy had been placed on her desk. Speaking in front of the hearing
:02:19. > :02:22.panel this afternoon she said. I'm a black person,
:02:23. > :02:28.serving the public. I was shocked and offended to see
:02:29. > :02:31.a black money on my desk. He was jeering me and harassing me
:02:32. > :02:33.about the black monkey. I felt violated and grabbed my
:02:34. > :02:36.fags and walked out. I felt offended by it
:02:37. > :02:38.and some members of my team The toy remained on my desk
:02:39. > :02:50.for three weeks and it's unthinkable I raised an objection
:02:51. > :02:56.more than once. He bullied, harassed me
:02:57. > :03:01.and violated my dignity. It's claimed Detective Sergeant
:03:02. > :03:10.Andrew Mottau used the toy and said, This gross misconduct

:03:28. > :03:30.imprisonment suspended for two years after pleading guilty to engaging

:04:55. > :04:59.happened. It was a 20-tonne digger. A phone mast was also
:05:00. > :05:02.brought down in the crash, leaving residents without phone
:05:03. > :05:04.and internet connections. It's understood the lorry
:05:05. > :05:27.was collecting a digger that had The police attended the scene. No
:05:28. > :05:31.arrests were made. The company that owns the lorry declined to comment.
:05:32. > :05:34.Recruitment's starting for 3,000 new jobs at the new Westgate
:05:35. > :05:39.It's six months until it's due to open but there are concerns
:05:40. > :05:42.there aren't enough people to fill the posts.
:05:43. > :05:45.Around 1,800 people in Oxfordshire claim Jobseekers' Allowance
:05:46. > :05:48.so even if they all took jobs there, there'd still be

:06:20. > :06:22.here at the Westgate. But things are certainly starting to take shape.
:06:23. > :06:27.With just six months to go, retailers are starting to think
:06:28. > :06:32.about recruitment. 3,000 jobs coming to Oxford. What is that going to
:06:33. > :06:36.mean for the city below? With very low levels of unemployment in the
:06:37. > :06:40.city, it's feared the care sector could be affected when recruitment
:06:41. > :06:46.for the Westgate gets going. There are areas of Oxfordshire where there
:06:47. > :06:52.are not enough care workers at the moment and where services struggle
:06:53. > :07:00.to deliver enough care to people. The balance is very fine, if you
:07:01. > :07:05.like, it won't take many people making decisions to leave social
:07:06. > :07:09.care work to tip that balance. And there are worries that other
:07:10. > :07:13.businesses in Oxford could lose workers to the Westgate as well.
:07:14. > :07:18.We've got some very good companies that will be out for tender at the
:07:19. > :07:23.Westgate centre. John Lewis Partnership, a great business,
:07:24. > :07:31.they've got the resources in order to involve local people. But what
:07:32. > :07:34.about the smaller businesses? Those behind the development say it will
:07:35. > :07:37.be a good thing for the city. It's going to be a place that's very
:07:38. > :07:41.well-known, a place Oxford can be proud of, a place to eat, drink
:07:42. > :07:46.relax and enjoy, watch the world go by. I think the important thing is
:07:47. > :07:51.that we are standing in a new part of Oxford, so this is history being
:07:52. > :07:56.made. I'm sure Oxford's going to be proud of it. There's set to be a
:07:57. > :07:59.jobs fair held in the city in June for the Westgate centre. It will
:08:00. > :08:03.open on October 24th. A group of companies led by a firm
:08:04. > :08:07.in Oxford have unveiled a plan to test driverless cars on UK roads
:08:08. > :08:09.and motorways in 2019. The driven consortium
:08:10. > :08:13.led by Oxbotica also intends to test a fleet of cars
:08:14. > :08:15.between London and Oxford. The cars will communicate with each
:08:16. > :08:18.other about hazards and should London Oxford Airport
:08:19. > :08:27.is extending its hangar space after new figures showed it's one
:08:28. > :08:30.of the busiest business A new 15,000 square foot bay will be
:08:31. > :08:37.added to its Kidlington base, along with with extra office space

:10:47. > :10:51.calm and in a relaxed state, they are able to concentrate, they are
:10:52. > :10:53.able to listen and they're able to learn and remember what they've been

:10:55. > :10:57.minds, 1 in 10 children have a mental health disorder,
:10:58. > :11:00.that's roughly 3 children in every classroom but less than 1%

:11:16. > :11:22.creating an equal playing field where yes we have a great focus on

:20:53. > :20:55.The tunnels were part of an army training ground,
:20:56. > :20:58.used to get men ready to fight in and under the trenches
:20:59. > :21:03.They were found on land set aside for hundreds of new homes
:21:04. > :21:12.Larkhill, a building site today, but home to an army secret
:21:13. > :21:18.This is the extraordinary system of tunnels and trenches
:21:19. > :21:25.Built in 1917 to recreate an entire battlefield,
:21:26. > :21:30.this was the Somme on Salisbury Plain.
:21:31. > :21:35.Archaeologists say this was as close as it came to warfare before troops
:21:36. > :21:45.They were using live ammunition, they were training 24 hours a day
:21:46. > :21:47.on occasions in some pretty hideous conditions,
:21:48. > :21:52.particularly in '16 and '17, when the brutal winter kicked in.
:21:53. > :21:56.And this was the brutality of the First World War the training
