:00:23. > :00:25.The court heard there'd been a custody battle, and the jtdge said

:00:26. > :00:27.killing Sarah was a wicked and selfish act.

:00:28. > :00:34.Found at last after nearly three years on the run,

:00:35. > :00:36.this is Angela Whitworth being arrested in Uganda.

:00:37. > :00:39.It's thought she had been lhving in the country under a falsd name

:00:40. > :00:45.since murdering her baby datghter in Bicester in 2013.

:00:46. > :00:49.Sarah Dahane was just 20-months-old when she died.

:00:50. > :00:52.Her body was found in the bddroom of a house she had been

:00:53. > :00:56.Detectives soon discovered Angela Whitworth had

:00:57. > :01:01.flown to Nairobi in Kenya the day she killed Sarah.

:01:02. > :01:06.Sarah's father spoke out during an appeal earlier thhs year.

:01:07. > :01:11.I'm still struggling to comd to terms with it all.

:01:12. > :01:16.It may never go away, but perhaps seeing justice

:01:17. > :01:23.being done for my daughter may ease my pain.

:01:24. > :01:25.When police found her leading her new life,

:01:26. > :01:29.Angela Whitworth initially claimed she was someone else.

:01:30. > :01:33.Her demeanour was quite strange in all honesty.

:01:34. > :01:38.She would change from, at one stage, showing some brief emotion,

:01:39. > :01:42.to at other stages being more interested in how we had

:01:43. > :01:46.tracked her down, commenting that she had seen the Facebook vhdeo

:01:47. > :01:49.and also asking me about how I was finding Kenya and Uganda.

:01:50. > :01:53.Today, it was revealed Angela Whitworth had been

:01:54. > :01:59.in a bitter custody battle for Sarah and had wanted to take her to Kenya.

:02:00. > :02:02.The judge said her attitude was that if she was not going to be `ble

:02:03. > :02:09.to have Sarah, nobody else would have her.

:02:10. > :02:14.Conservative Robert Courts replaces former Prime Minister David Cameron,

:02:15. > :02:17.whose resignation as MP last month triggered a by-election.

:02:18. > :02:21.But the Tories saw their majority reduced by 20,000 votes.

:02:22. > :02:25.The Liberal Democrats came second, prompting leader Tim Farron to claim

:02:50. > :02:54.Witney's new MP though wasn't hanging around to talk

:02:55. > :02:58.about his win, instead a senior colleague was left to obligd.

:03:02. > :03:05.when he first stood in a general election, which was 45% and today,

:03:06. > :03:08.Robert has got that in a by,election with 14 candidates.

:03:41. > :03:44.They have really put a shot across her bows.

:03:45. > :03:47.And I think it will be very difficult for her now to resist

:03:48. > :03:52.the request that we have a vote in Parliament about Brexit.

:03:53. > :03:56.West Oxfordshire voted 57% hn favour of remaining in the European Union

:03:57. > :04:01.So Ukip slipped from third to fifth in this vote, behind both

:04:02. > :04:07.In his acceptance speech, Witney's new MP spoke

:04:08. > :04:10.about continuing the local constituency work that his

:04:11. > :04:15.predecessor David Cameron had been so good at.

:04:16. > :04:18.Robert Courts will be judged by those constituents

:04:19. > :04:28.Churches in Oxfordshire say they'll try to provide services lost
