:01:04. > :01:06.his bike that led them to make the decision to close the crossing.

:01:16. > :01:18.But Griffin Lane isn't the only crossing in Aylesbury to be closed.

:03:12. > :03:13.Day with their foster families in Oxford were not special.

:03:16. > :03:18.I did not want to talk about it and take part in any

:03:19. > :03:20.activities in school and out of school.

:03:21. > :03:23.But this year a team of volunteers across the county have decided to

:03:24. > :03:26.They have spent the last three months planning a

:03:27. > :03:28.Christmas dinner with all the trimmings.

:03:29. > :03:30.On Sunday, the guests will open the presents, take part in

:03:31. > :03:33.games and enjoy a Christmas lunch cooked by a chef

:03:34. > :03:47.We have the best food for the Christmas dinner, the best

:03:48. > :03:50.chefs for the Christmas dinner, we have presents,

:03:51. > :03:53.we have films on the day, there is a creche for people

:03:54. > :04:01.Lemn Sissay went through the care system himself and

:04:02. > :04:11.It is about creating a Christmas dinner

:04:12. > :04:14.that is unforgettable, that

:04:15. > :04:18.is full of love and joy and happiness for a care lever who next

:04:19. > :04:21.year will be able to have a memory to look back on which is positive.

:04:22. > :04:24.The Christmas dinner project started in Manchester three years ago and

:04:25. > :04:26.has since been rolled out to London and Leeds.

:04:27. > :04:36.But this year there are two new venues, Liverpool and Oxford.

:04:37. > :04:38.There's over 500 care leavers in Oxfordshire.

:04:39. > :04:41.We can't have Christmas for every care lever and not everyone

:04:42. > :04:43.will want to join, but part of the people, they can come,

:04:44. > :04:47.The team behind the dinner have managed to

:04:48. > :04:50.put on most of the day for free thanks to donations and volunteers

:04:51. > :04:54.To see other people having a nice Christmas, that is the most

:04:55. > :04:57.You know, Christmas is all about spending time with

:04:58. > :04:59.people and looking back and reflecting and making those

:05:00. > :05:03.memories, memories are the most important thing you cherish.

:05:04. > :05:08.There are some foster families that make

:05:09. > :05:11.the day absolutely special for people, but then there are also

:05:12. > :05:14.You know, I've been there and even, you

:05:15. > :05:16.know, I've had good Christmases and bad Christmases,

:05:17. > :05:19.but this is going to be something to remember and I

:05:20. > :05:37.Rail passengers in the south are being told to plan ahead over

:05:38. > :05:39.Christmas and expect significant delays as a number of lines

:05:40. > :05:47.There will be no trains in or out of London from Christmas Eve

:05:48. > :05:50.Services will stop at Ealing Broadway.

:05:51. > :05:52.There will then be a reduced timetable between December the 30th

:05:53. > :05:56.For the last year Network Rail has been working overnight and at

:05:57. > :05:59.weekends to do a lot of the work needed for Crossrail

:06:00. > :06:01.and for the electrification of the line.

:06:02. > :06:03.Sometimes frankly it needs time to do this

:06:05. > :06:10.why the Paddington Station area will be closed this Christmas.
