:00:36. > :00:37.An explosion and fire destroyed the three storey building in Osney

:00:38. > :00:42.The BBC understands the person unaccounted for is a man.

:00:43. > :00:45.The cause of the blast is being investigated.

:00:46. > :00:50.More than 24 hours since the explosion

:00:51. > :00:55.Dozens of firefighters, police and paramedics were called

:00:56. > :01:04.This afternoon, we learnt officers had been unable

:01:05. > :01:12.Oxfordshire County Council Fire and Rescue Service conducted a search

:01:13. > :01:15.of the site of the collapsed building, which was still

:01:16. > :01:21.It was determined that the incident around the collapsed site would no

:01:22. > :01:24.longer sustain life, and we moved into a different

:01:25. > :01:30.At this time, one person is unaccounted for,

:01:31. > :01:36.and we are providing ongoing support to that person's family.

:01:37. > :01:38.The blast caused neighbouring homes to shake and windows to smash.

:01:39. > :01:42.One man said the boom sounded like scaffolding falling down.

:01:43. > :01:46.My girlfriend, who was with me at the time, said, "What's that?".

:01:47. > :01:50.I looked out the window, and obviously saw the flats had

:01:51. > :01:53.disappeared at the end, the whole block had gone, and there

:01:54. > :01:58.We heard, like, an explosion, and the whole street was instantly

:01:59. > :02:02.crowded and everybody rushed out to see what it was.

:02:03. > :02:05.I was just watching the telly and all of a sudden something went

:02:06. > :02:10.At least two people have been treated for injuries by paramedics.

:02:11. > :02:16.14 residents had to leave their homes and were given

:02:17. > :02:21.refuge overnight at this nearby business school.

:02:22. > :02:24.As you can see, police are still on the scene this evening.

:02:25. > :02:28.They say that emergency services are going to be here over the next

:02:29. > :02:30.few days while they search the rubble and try and

:02:34. > :02:41.A man from Oxford has been charged with murder

:02:42. > :02:45.35-year old Domingos Romalho was found with stab wounds

:02:46. > :02:47.on Windmill Road in Headington on Monday afternoon.

:02:48. > :02:52.A 27-year old man has appeared before Banbury magistrates,

:02:53. > :03:00.The family of a 10-year-old boy who died after being injured

:03:01. > :03:02.at the Topshop store in Reading have paid tribute to him,

:03:03. > :03:05.saying there'll be a huge hole in the lives of everyone

:03:06. > :03:10.Kaden Reddick was hurt in an incident involving

:03:11. > :03:16.He was a loving, cheeky, energetic boy.

:03:17. > :03:19.In a tribute today, Kaden Reddick's family said his death will leave

:03:20. > :03:22.a huge empty hole in the lives of everyone who knew him.

:03:23. > :03:25.Kaden died from head injuries in an incident involving store

:03:26. > :03:32.Today, as a safety precaution, the company has removed the display

:03:33. > :03:35.units from every one of its 300-plus stores across the country.

:03:36. > :03:39.Inside the closed Reading branch, investigations are still underway

:03:40. > :03:42.by the company, Thames Valley Police and Reading Borough Council.

:03:43. > :03:50.Kaden's family say he loved coming to school, and his headteacher

:03:51. > :03:54.here has issued a statement saying how shocked everyone is by the death

:03:55. > :03:59.of such an energetic young man who enjoyed helping others.

:04:05. > :04:08.that he will never be able to fulfil his potential.

:04:23. > :04:24.and when they return on Monday they will be offered

:04:25. > :04:33.Footballer Rohan Ince, who's on loan to Swindon Town,

:04:34. > :04:36.has been found not guilty of attacking a nightclub

:04:37. > :04:40.The footballer was outside a club in Windsor in the early hours

:04:41. > :04:43.of Christmas Day 2015 when the attack happened.

:04:44. > :04:46.He told a jury at Reading Crown Court that it was a case

:04:47. > :04:52.A Buckinghamshire man, who lost his house, his family

:04:53. > :04:54.and more than ?1 million through gambling is campaigning

:04:55. > :04:58.Tony Franklin from Aylesbury wants the Government to restrict betting

:04:59. > :05:03.So far, more than 100,000 people have signed his petition.

:05:04. > :05:11.In the last two decades, Tony here has lost more

:05:12. > :05:15.than ?1 million gambling, but the money is just the start.

:05:16. > :05:19.At times I've gambled an entire month's wages in literally

:05:20. > :05:25.So, obviously, you know, that makes it difficult, you know,

:05:26. > :05:28.to feed, to pay the rent, to pay the mortgage.

:05:29. > :05:30.I've been homeless because of gambling.

:05:31. > :05:35.I'm estranged from my wife, which is a result of

:05:36. > :05:39.There isn't a lot of good that comes from gambling.

:05:40. > :05:41.Tony says these machines, fixed-odds betting terminals,

:05:42. > :05:44.are largely to blame, but also believes we need

:05:45. > :05:47.a cultural shift in the way we think about gambling.

:05:48. > :05:50.Gambling in the UK today has become so normalised and,

:05:51. > :05:52.you know, to the extent that we are allowing our children

:05:53. > :06:01.These have ?5 jackpots and you see them at the seaside

:06:02. > :06:04.The Association of British Bookmakers say there is no evidence

:06:05. > :06:07.that cutting the maximum stake on fixed-odds betting terminals

:06:08. > :06:18.If the stake is reduced, I am asking for ?2 because that is the level

:06:19. > :06:26.we see which would reduce the amount of harm that these machines can do.

:06:27. > :06:28.Tony's petition to MPs has gained more than 100,000 signatures.

:06:29. > :06:30.The Government is already undertaking a review into gambling

:06:31. > :06:33.and we should find out those results later this year.

:06:34. > :06:42.Two women from Swindon who had strokes just

:06:43. > :06:44.days after giving birth, are warning others about their

:06:45. > :06:48.Jo Wallace and Stevi Marshall have set up a support group after finding

:06:49. > :06:58.Jo Wallace and Stevi Marshall each had their first child last year,

:06:59. > :07:00.but, just days after the birth, Stevi started getting bad headaches,

:07:01. > :07:13.It was like I just wanted to scratch that part of my face

:07:14. > :07:24.So I would look at words and I just couldn't even

:07:25. > :07:29.It go to a point where I actually couldn't cope.

:07:30. > :07:33.It was in the back of my head and it was throbbing, so, you know,

:07:34. > :07:35.even to move my head was just hurting.

:07:36. > :07:38.Basically, I lost my eyesight and my word-finding and memory...

:07:39. > :07:43.It's all coming back, but those sort of things have all been

:07:44. > :07:50.The Stroke Association says more women than men have strokes,

:07:51. > :07:56.This may be because more women are living longer and having

:07:57. > :07:59.strokes when they're older, but it's still highly

:08:00. > :08:02.unusual for young women to have a stroke after giving birth.

:08:03. > :08:07.So, stroke during pregnancy and following childbirth

:08:08. > :08:10.is actually quite rare, but it does happen.

:08:11. > :08:14.Having a stroke can have all sorts of different effects.

:08:15. > :08:16.Every single stroke is different and people do recover.

:08:17. > :08:22.The future for people can be very bright after a stroke.

:08:23. > :08:24.Jo and Stevi feel very fortunate to have survived

:08:25. > :08:31.They're now part of a support group for mums in Swindon

:08:32. > :08:37.None of us really want to dwell on it, and we just

:08:38. > :08:39.want to accept that, yes, we have had what happened

:08:40. > :08:44.You know, we've all got issues but, you know, it's not life-threatening.

:08:45. > :08:46.We've all got our babies and they are all gorgeous

:08:47. > :08:49.and lovely, and we will hopefully get to see them grow.
