:00:17. > :00:24.A coroner today recorded that neglect contributed

:00:25. > :00:28.Her family say they've finally been given answers

:00:29. > :00:33.It was here where Lilly-May collapsed as she ran out of school

:00:34. > :00:37.as normal at the end of the day to greet her mum and her

:00:38. > :00:46.What nobody knew then though was she had a genetic heart defect.

:00:47. > :00:48.Two of the mums here that afternoon were trained nurses.

:00:49. > :00:51.They carried out chest compressions while they waited for an ambulance.

:00:52. > :00:53.That arrived within eight minutes but that is when mistakes

:00:54. > :00:58.The first paramedic wasted precious seconds carrying Lilly-May

:00:59. > :01:01.to the ambulance and then once inside took some minutes more

:01:02. > :01:03.before connecting her to a defibrillator machine.

:01:04. > :01:04.Crucially that paramedic then misinterpreted the information

:01:05. > :01:07.from the machine and decided not to use it to kick-start

:01:08. > :01:13.Further medical experts arrived and they also failed to spot

:01:14. > :01:17.that they could and should have administered an electric shock.

:01:18. > :01:19.Had Lilly-May been distributed within 15 minutes of her collapse,

:01:20. > :01:26.she would have survived and would still be with us.

:01:27. > :01:30.The coroner has found that Lilly-May's death was contributed

:01:31. > :01:34.to by neglect on the part of South Central Ambulance Service.

:01:35. > :01:37.We hope that everyone involved in this inquest will have learnt

:01:38. > :01:42.from these events and that a child will not die again in the future

:01:43. > :01:48.In response, South Central Ambulance have issued us a statement.

:01:49. > :02:06.It is also worth paying tribute to Lilly-May's family.

:02:07. > :02:08.They have decided to try to make something positive

:02:09. > :02:13.They fundraised in her memory and bought defibrillators for every

:02:14. > :02:22.Police investigating the death of a woman who was hit by a road sweeper

:02:23. > :02:25.in Swindon are looking to speak to a taxi driver who may have

:02:26. > :02:31.It happened outside Arkells Brewery on Beechcroft Road yesterday.

:02:32. > :02:34.It's understood the woman, who was 32, was going to collect

:02:35. > :02:41.Police say the taxi driver was not involved but could be a key witness.

:02:42. > :02:44.A young girl's being treated in hospital for serious head

:02:45. > :02:48.injuries after a ceiling collapsed at her school in Milton Keynes.

:02:49. > :02:50.It happened at Southwood School at an after-school club

:02:51. > :02:53.in the sports hall yesterday afternoon during the

:02:54. > :02:57.Two girls were hurt in the incident, one suffered minor injuries

:02:58. > :03:02.The other was transferred to the Oxford Children's Hospital

:03:03. > :03:07.and is in a serious but stable condition.

:03:08. > :03:10.Time is running out for 20 squatters who've been living in a former

:03:11. > :03:13.car showroom in Oxford for the past two months.

:03:14. > :03:15.They've been told they need to be gone by 10 o'clock

:03:16. > :03:19.on Monday morning to make way for new student accommodation.

:03:20. > :03:21.They're now talking to churches and have even turned to Facebook

:03:22. > :03:24.in an effort to find somewhere else to stay.

:03:25. > :03:31.A homeless man being made homeless again.

:03:35. > :03:41.Now they've been told they all have to move on.

:03:42. > :03:45.We've all started from being strangers and we've

:03:46. > :03:51.It seems very saddening to be parting.

:03:52. > :03:55.Campaigners angry about the lack of affordable homes in the city say

:03:56. > :03:57.they set up the shelter after finding the building

:03:58. > :04:02.Since then they've received donations such as sofas,

:04:03. > :04:08.But Wadham College owns the building and wants to use

:04:09. > :04:16.This place has given me safety, security, support, and without it

:04:17. > :04:25.Appeals have been posted on Facebook in a bid to find a new home.

:04:26. > :04:28.But campaigners have been speaking to churches and say they're

:04:29. > :04:33.hopeful about finding a new location in time.

:04:34. > :04:35.I'm a little bit optimistic about what can be solved

:04:36. > :04:40.I think there's a lot of good public will,

:04:41. > :04:43.and that's what we're relying on to help us find more permanent

:04:44. > :04:45.homes for the residents here, and the other people

:04:46. > :04:50.In a statement Wadham College reiterated its profound

:04:51. > :04:55.sympathy for the plight of the homeless in Oxford.

:04:56. > :04:58.But it said it's always made clear the squatters could not remain

:04:59. > :05:04.Karl says whatever the outcome he'll find a way to carry on.

:05:05. > :05:14.They were a part of childhood for many of us, now a new exhibition

:05:15. > :05:17.has been launched in Reading telling the story of Ladybird books.

:05:18. > :05:21.The University archive has over 20,000 original illustrations.

:05:22. > :05:23.More recently the classic pictures have been used

:05:24. > :05:33.Now a museum piece, Ladybird's pocket size ideal for little hands

:05:34. > :05:36.was no mere marketing ploy back in their heyday.

:05:37. > :05:39.It was this size because of paper rationing.

:05:40. > :05:41.What they had to do was figure out how to

:05:42. > :05:44.create an entire book in one piece of paper.

:05:45. > :05:47.That created the Ladybird book we know and love.

:05:48. > :05:53.If you are of a certain age, of course, it is very

:05:54. > :05:56.likely this is one of the first books you ever got to read.

:05:57. > :06:02.Of course, once you have mastered the basics,

:06:03. > :06:06.that opened the door to an entire world of Ladybird books.

:06:07. > :06:09.The collection here includes many favourites and thousands of original

:06:10. > :06:14.Jimbo works hard all week and only has a few hours at

:06:15. > :06:17.the weekend to spend with his family.
